Before Gu Yanqi could finish his sentence, his phone died.
“D*mn it!” The man cursed.
He wondered if Fu Zhi got the thing he said or not. Even if she did not get it, he was pretty certain that after seeing something like this, an ordinary person like her would not be foolish enough to come here alone.
That was the last thought Gu Yanqi had before the darkness consumed his mind.

On the mountainous road of Mount Qiu Ling.

The big screen at the start of the trail lit up.

Pressing hard on the accelerator, Fu Zhi passed by a sharp bend, and just when she was about to pick up her speed, the four sports cars in front of her slowed down and surrounded her car.

He would like to see how the driver of the silver sports car was going to compete with them if he crashed his car into her car.
With that thought in mind, he slowed down his speed.
Fu Zhi raised her hand, tapped her phone, and her eyes behind a pair of sunglasses glowed a little when she realized the satellite had successfully pinpointed Gu Yanqi’s location.

“I will find a way,” he pitched his voice low and replied, “Follow me!”
However, Fu Zhi smacked his hand away. She looked at him calmly, pulled out a piece of antiseptic cotton from the first-aid box, and said, “I’m sure you know better than me, right? There’s no way we can go now.”
The entire mountain was under the control of their enemy. They could come in easily, but it was as difficult as nailing a jelly to the wall to get out of here. They were like turtles in a jar right now.
Both of them did not talk to each other for a short while, as Fu Zhi helped Gu Yanqi to tend to his wound.
“I want to go find Li Nanli,” Fu Zhi said, breaking the silence.

As such, he suppressed his rage and said, “If you can’t do it, you can wait for me here. If I’m lucky enough to go inside, I will ask Liu Mi to bring you out of here.”
Chapter 511: Rescue - 2
“Bang!”
A loud gunshot erupted and Gu Yanqi was stunned. Then, when he heard something fall to the ground, his heart leaped into his throat and he hastily lifted his head up to look at his surroundings.

Gu Yanqi felt a strong sadness welling up from the bottom of his stomach pit as he murmured, “May you rest in peace forever, my friend. Remember to pick a good family when you’re going into the next life…”
“Shut up.”
A sound came, followed by a gunshot. The bullet grazed past Gu Yanqi’s cheek and the man behind him fell to the ground.
Gu Yanqi turned his head around and he realized that the one who was talking was none other than Fu Zhi.
‘If she’s still standing, the person behind me is…’
Gu Yanqi swallowed a big gulp of bloody saliva and asked, “You know how to use a gun?”
