In the morning of that day, Jungkook was in the office, in the best mood ever. He doesn't really understand why he felt all sunny and optimistic. Probably because he had a wonderful dream, a beautiful dream with Jimin in it. He is also looking forward with excitement for the upcoming occasion later that night. He is planning to get home early and prepare for the night's event.
"Jungkook, a man wants to see you and show you some information he obtained about Jimin. He was the one I hired, remember." Gyu- Ri, his secretary said.
"What? I didn't ask you to do that. No, just send him away. I told you I don't need it. Just give him the money and tell him his job is done. Next time Gyu-ri, don't precede my decisions especially in regard to Jimin." Jungkook said, irritation evident in his voice and face.
"B-but Jungkook, I- I believe you have to see what he has obtained. Then if you find they are unneccessary and insignificant, then we can terminate the job. There is no harm in finding out what he knew. You don't know maybe he had good infos about Jimin and you can use it to your advantage in wooing him." Gyu ri defended.
"Wh-What woo him?" Jungkook suddenly blushed. "Who ever told you I have intentions of wooing him? T-That's absurd, Gyu- ri. He is already going to be my husband why do I need to woo him or court him or whatever?" But Jungkook decided to see what the man has to show after he considered the last reason told by Gyu-ri. He wants information about what Jimin likes, what are the things that interest him and maybe he can give it to him as surprise gifts. He can imagine Jimin's delighted smile.
It was a bad decision, as what Jungkook had found out were nothing agreeable. He was presented photos of Jimin in physical intimacy with his friends- hugging, cuddling, and kissing (well not in the mouth at least), his friend buying him luxury branded clothes. These were not really incriminating or even implicating a truthful evidence of wrongdoing by Jimin. Infact, these things are all very normal seen in close friendship and brotherly, platonic affection, Jungkook thought to.himself, but still all these made him extremely pissed and begin to suspect again. All the photos make him lean towards believing the rumors he heard.
The next information made Jungkook's hands tremble and his emotion a chaotic, violent mess. He felt like choking, finding it hard to breathe in a very bad way, his heart being squeezed like an orange. He looked at Jin clearly naked with only a blanket covering his lower body, who was surely with Jimin in that apartment, who was in another room waiting for him, as evidenced by the video recording. The voice that was certainly Jimin's "Hurry up Love. I can't wait any longer!" "Ok, ok coming!Gosh so demanding." Jin replied back.
The papers crumpled under Jungkook's clenching, furious hand.
Jin is surely Jimin's lover. Jimin is sleeping around with his so-called friend, when he is already engage to him! Jungkook fumed in his thoughts. The older knows theirs is not a real engagement or relationship, but still... Jungkook's eyes turned glacial, his brows met in an angry frown, his jaws tightened menacingly.
"Ah Mr. Jeon Jungkook, I- I also uncovered something about Jimin's scholarship. I am not sure if this is useful or of any significance and I am still trying to get all the information. A-ah it seems Jimin's education is being financed privately by your family."
"What's so unusual about that? Our company has been giving scholarships to a lot of aspiring and excellent students."
"Y-Yes of course. It's just odd that, well, I have a reason to believe there is something else here entirely. I-It's just a feeling I have when I heard about rumors of Jimin having a very wealthy b-benefactor. I found out.. your father.. personally finances Jimin's education in the guise of a funded scholarship by your company."
Jungkook's nose flared.
"Ok that's enough Mr... whatever. Your service is now terminated.. I don't need anything more from you. Just talk to my assistant secretary, Ms. Gyu Ri on your way out. She will see through everything that's due you. You can go."
"B-but the data is there if you want to see them. I only got a few but I-I think...
"Mr. Chung, I will be the sole person responsible of what to do with these data and infos you gathered. You should not have any copies or whatever duplicates you have there. I will pay you a sizable amount for your discretion. And yes, for your work..But this all have to remain confidential, only between us. If I find out that these informations, these photos and video have been somehow leaked or shared or known to others in any way, I will sue you till you find yourself poorer than a mouse with no roof in your head and eating from a garbage can, or you can see yourself rotting in jail...Are we clear? You can go now."
The private investigator went smirking happily as he can imagine the big amount of money he will receive.
Jungkook called his assistant and instructed her. After that, he just gazed into space, his mind and heart in turbulent unrest. He buried his face in his hands, confused, doubtful and mad as hell.
'Who are you Jimin? What are you?!" Jungkook groaned.

Jimin went straight to the restroom where he actually poured out his real feelings. He showed a false bravado and confidence because his little pride left didn't want him to look pathetic and pitiful. But the truth is he was devastated. He felt small and insecure in this world of the filthy rich and beautiful. To add to his injury, Jungkook wasn't exactly warm to him. But maybe it was the initial cause of his low-spirit tonight.
He felt he didn't belong. Perhaps that bratgirl is right, he is better at just serving beverages and desserts, he is more comfortable doing that. But the truth of the matter was, he meant what he said that he didn't care what the woman thought about him. What mainly bothers him is what Jungkook thinks of him. He wonders. Does Jungkook think the same way as the woman said about him? Did he realized it now, seeing him tonight? Was that the reason he was indifferent to him today?
Jungkook wouldn't even bother to stay beside him. Was he ashamed of him? Does he still think that he is just a gold digger or a cunning opportunist? But why last night he was so sweet and thoughtful giving him the gift, and patient that he even waited for him without complain?
Tonight, the older just blurted a crude remark of him as a flirt. But he was just being friendly. Was it really flirting with Namjoon hyung? Next time he would have to be careful on how he interacts with people.
Jimin sighed with frustration and unhappiness. Slow tears already rolling down from his somber eyes.
He painstakingly tried to look pleasing in his eyes but Jungkook didn't even notice, didn't even spare a single compliment, didn't even spare a look at the necklace he wanted to show off to him so excitedly. He was expecting too much. He was looking forward to a great night with Jungkook but only to be hurt with disappointment.
He is so pathetic if he cries, still Jimin can't seem to control his tears. He kept on shedding them silently.

Jungkook went to find Jimin, after he reprimanded the rude woman. A worried frown on his face. Jimin just suddenly had gone out of sight.
Since his arrival, his eyes have never left Jimin eventhough he pushed himself not to look at him. He kept telling himself to ignore the petite, pretty guy and forget he is even in the room but whatever he does, even when he was talking with other people, wherever he goes, his eyes and mind would always wander to where Jimin is, will always search and notice him.
That blond guy really has some magical force pulling him into his field. When he arrived and saw Jimin, his heart couldn't control it's rapid, unusual strong beating. Jimin took his breath away with how mesmerizing the younger one looks. It was hard not to show any emotion, not to gaze into his eyes like a hypnotized fool and shower him with beautiful words. He could barely contain himself.
Well, it's a good thing that he witnessed him being teasingly nice with Namjoon. It reminded him of what he discovered about Jimin, made him wary, given him resolve to not fall for that smaller's seducing tricks again.
But it is also a bad thing as, hearing him and seeing him like that with Namjoon piqued him too.
Then, to his utmost dismay, came the other one. He swore he could knock down a wall with his ballistic fist, seeing them so shamelessly being sweet and all clingy with each other, dancing infront of the guests and in his presence with no care in the world.
Jimin laughing and smiling at his lover, acting just like close, brotherly friends. He would have been fooled if he didn't know better, if he haven't learn the information he was given this morning.
His insides is burning with something of irritation or displeasure. He find he hates it, to even imagine the possibility of Jimin loving or liking other men, touching and being touched romantically by other men. he can't just give a name to it. The feeling is so alien to him.
Is Jimin in-love with his lover? Something in him twisted again causing pain in his chest. Or is it just casual sex between them, nothing more. Why will Jimin marry him if he is in-love with that guy named Jin, his lover and friend. Is Jimin really just another opportunist, someone after his money and name? Did he have something to do with the perpetrated scandal? Somehow having interacted with Jimin in just one dinner, he finds that hard to believe. He seemed so innocent, pure and sincere. Jimin sure knows how to act demure and totally like an angel, he was almost convinced.
He is raging mad looking at them. He doesn't understand what is making him so mad. Is it because of the feeling of being betrayed or lied to or the feeling that he couldn't have what he desires and another man have what he desires. All he knows is he wants to snatch Jimin away from that guy. All he wants is not see Jimin smile, look and touch the other guy with so much affection. All he wants is that guy to stop touching Jimin and stay away from the man he is to marry. No!No! He already decided earlier. There will be no marriage happening. He will not be fooled. He should not be gullible and fall blindly for Jimin's cunning, bewitching tricks! He will not marry that deceptive, deceitful little devil!
But presently, Jungkook is looking around, looking for Jimin. Worried that he was hurt by the words of that stupid, pompous, snobbish woman.
