Cloud and tifa stand in a train as Barrett sits in the next car ahead. You are on the train as well. You were sitting in the seat across from tifa and cloud.
As the train chugs along you are holding your wayfinder aqua made you years ago. Just like Terra and Ventus. Like theirs, yours was your favorite color. As you look at it Tifa moves from cloud and sits across from you.
She puts her head in her palm as she rests "what is that?" She asks. You look to her "this is a wayfinder." You explain "It's a charm that is meant to link your heart with those closest to you." Tifa tilts her head "really?"
You hold your up "Legends say that anyone you give a wayfinder to will always be in your life no matter what." She looks at the wayfinder as you hold it up. She gets an idea.
Then you drop your hand and get ready ti put it away "technically they are supposed to be made out of seashells. And the legends comes from the Paopu fruit. But it works all the same"
Tifa then notices Aquas wayfinder around your neck "why do you have 2?" She asks. You put yours away as you look back to her "Because my necklace is Aquas wayfinder. She's the one who made mine and our friends's. 10 years ago we all lived happily. But then master xehanort killed our master and we fought him at the graveyard. Ventus lost his heart and terra became possessed. I ended up chasing my old friends away but I was too late to save aqua after I learned where she went."
Tifa listens intently "when I arrived in radiant garden. I was too late. Xehanort was on the ground and I raced to the gateway to darkness but I failed to save aqua in time as she fell into the realm of darkness. I tried ti finish xehanort but I was knocked unconscious by something. When I woke up I was in yen Sid's tower."
As tifa goes to say something Barrett starts yelling in the next car. Cloud looks up from the table as you and tifa look back and get up. Cloud rushes forward ti the door as you two follow.
Barret was yelling at 3 people in suits. They looked nervous as he towered over them.
When you arrived in the car you stand back as tifa runs forward "barret! Calm down!" She says as he looks at her, cloud crosses his arms and you rub your neck.
Just then barret mumbles something and moves forward to the next car. Just then cloud shakes his head "he's going to blow this" tifa turned back to him "have some faith cloud"
You look out one of the windows as you see you have entered a tunnel. "Looks like we are almost there" you say as tifa turns to you. "Right." She then looks at cloud "how about we split up"
Cloud hums "what? Why. That's not part of the plan" Tifa nods "I know but, I think we should be able to cover more ground, or maybe hit them from 2 different places."
You look at cloud "I mean. She does have a point" cloud sighs as he rubs his forehead "why would we do that it's a waste of time" Tifa pouts as she crosses her arms "but think about it. You and barret could go through the way we planned and hit them from the front. While you two are making your way to the reactor, me and y/n come in through the side and help you from the sides. And we all regroup at the reactor and take it down"
Cloud looks at you "you agree with her?" You hold up your hands "I'm just taking whichever plan we agree on"
Cloud sighs again a she puts a hand on his hip "fine. Let's just get this over with." He walks past tifa and joins barret on the other car. Then tifa turns to you. "Looks like it's you and me" she says with a smile.
You nod "gonna kick some ass" you say as you crack your knuckles. But then you hear voices "the security team said they spotted some avalanche entering the train! Find them and arrest them we cannot let those terrorists harm anyone else"
You and tifa turn around and look at the car you were just in. "We got company" you say.
*cutscene begins*
As the soldiers start to move about the train catching up to you. You grab tifa's hand and lead her to the next car. You meet with cloud and barret "yo we got baddies coming up on us" you say.
Cloud turns to face the door as he nods and looks at barret "the front of the train had bikes let's take 'em"
Barret nods as he and cloud rush forward. Moving to the next car. While you and tifa stay behind "we gotta get off this train" Tifa smiles as she looks over and raises her leg as she kicks the door off the side as it flies away.
You peek your head out as you see a few SOLDIER vehicles driving after the train in the tunnel.
You then step back and look at tifa "we could get hurt so we have to be careful" she goes to say something but you grab her chest as she gasps "hey! What are-" suddenly your keyblade armor forms around her as the gauntlet on your arm vanished. After you give her your armor you quickly shove her out "sorry!" You shout.
"Aaahhh!" She squeals as she flies away. You then summon your keyblade and form it into a shield before you jump out and curl up like a ball and lay on it.
You land and slide a few moments before you slow down and stop. With the train flying by. You watch as some of the vehicles follow after but then a few of them slow down and stop beside you and tifa.
The shield vanished as you stand up and hold your keyblade. Then tifa rushes to you as your armor disappeared as your gauntlet returned.
"Looks like we didn't fool all of them" you say as she nods and stands beside you. "Avalanche! Stop now you are under arrest! Resisting will result in force!"
You then smile at tifa as she raises her hand as the two of you high five then get into your combat stances "let's do this!"
*cutscene ends as a symbol appears on the screen as a battle starts*
You and tifa stand ready with 4 guards facing you. And more on standby.
Your turn is first as the command menu appears. The cursor scrolls down from attack as it selects magic. The submenu opens as the cursor selects. Waterga.
You throw your keyblade into the air and then lob a ball of liquid at the group for an aoe attack. You catch your keyblade as the 4 soldiers take barely any damage but now have the drenched status effect.
Tifa attacks next as she runs forward and attacks with a 3 hit combo. She delivers two punches and a roundhouse kick to guard C. Before she jumps back to her place.
It's now the guards turn.
Guard A used a healing item for guard C and negates the damage tifa just dealt. Then guard B opens fire and deals low damage to you with a volley of bullets. Then guard C attacks tifa with a baton swing and deals damage. Then guard D opens fire again and hits tifa with a volley.
It's your turn as the command menu returns.
Once again the cursor selects magic ad it scrolls down to thundaga. With thindaga selected your hand gets covered in thunder as electricity goes everywhere. You then run your hand down the blade of your keyblade as it's cited in thunder then you stab it into the ground as electricity shoots out across the floor. And since the guards had the drenched effect they took double shock damage as they all fall dead after being fried.
You stand up straight as you return to your stance. Just then 4 more guards rush in to replace the ones you killed.
"Resistance is futile! Give up!" One of them shout. You grunt as you spin your keyblade around as tifa attacks.
She uses Divekick as she jumps up and falls and slams her foot down on a guard before rolling backwards to her position.
The guards attack next. Guard E attacks you with a bullet volley. But you hold out your hand as a barrier forms and deflects the attack. Guard F attacks as he targets you and throws a grenade your direction. The grenade exploded and stunned you as you lean forward and hold your head as you stagger.
Guard G attacks as he runs forward and smacks you 3 times with his baton. Your health drops to below half as Guard H attacks. Opening fire on tifa as she takes damage.
It's now your turn as you shake your head and return to your stance.
Limit now available
The command menu returns as the cursor scrolls down to select Limit.
Limits are powerful attacks that are capable of defeating one enemy or multiple depending on which limit you choose. Limits can only be selected if your player health reaches a certain level and you have enough magic to cast the limit.
The limit menu opens and shows 2 limits.
Wayfinder
Tag Team
The cursor selects Tag Team
Tag team is the special attack available when y/n and Tifa are in the same party. This attack uses all remaining Magic Points but deals heavy damage to crowds.
When the limit is selected you and tifa suddenly jump together and stand back to back.
"Y/n!" Tifa shouts. "On it!" You reply.
A blue bar appears at the top of the screen as the limit name appears. Tag team
Tifa jumps forward and drops to her back as she spins like she's breakdancing. Causing wind to start to circle above her.
You then coat your keyblade in fire as you throw it into the wind as it starts to fly in a circle.
Finally Tifa gets up and grabs your hand as the two of you nod to each other. You then spin and throw tifa up into the air as the wind concentrates around her and she flips and kicks your keyblade as it flies down and slams into the ground causing a massive explosion of flames to go everywhere.
When tifa lands you resuming your keyblade as you and her high five.
With the 4 guards killed the battle ends.
You and tifa stand in your victory poses as you celebrate.

With the guards beaten you and tifa look at each other as your keyblade vanished. "Nice work girl" you say as tifa blushed "we haven't fought together in a while" you smile "definitely improved" you compliment her.
Just then cloud speaks over a radio attached to tifas belt. "Guys, guys are you alright? We heard fighting from down the way."
Tifa grabs the radio and answers "yes we are fine, just had some company but we are making our way to you"
Cloud remains silent as the radio turns off. Just then tifa puts the radio away as you turn around and look at the maintenance door not too far away.
"Come on. That's our ticket in" you say as you start running towards it as tifa follows behind you.
"Cloud and barret and be too far. We shouldn't waste time, but don't be afraid to get your hands dirty" Tifa says
You nod as you reach the door and try the knob. After seeing it's locked you step back and kick it open "HA!" you grunt as it slams open. You then look at tifa "After you"
She giggles and walks past you before you follow her inside.
Inside the maintenance tunnel you and tifa ran as you tried to follow the path to the reactor. "This is a bit off from the planned path" you say "maybe we should have stuck together" you add.
Tifa looks behind her at you as she runs "Then all 4 of us would be causing trouble. Cloud is a big boy he can handle himself"
You nod "well yea but I mean the plan was for all 4 of us to be together and now we've gotta adjust to being 2 teams."
Tifa looks forward "are you doubting us?" You shake your head "no, I'm just saying I like when things stay as planned. Then again I did vote for this"
Tifa giggles again as she turns a corner and you follow.
The radio crackles as fighting is heard "cloud what's going on" Tifa says as she grabs it and holds it by her face. "Damn shinra! Get outta the way!" Barret yell. Cloud answers "ran into some security. Don't worry about us just meet us at the reactor"
The radio goes silent again as she puts it away.
Just then there was another door. Tifa jumps with a spin and kicks it down before she keeps going. You follow behind her as the two of you arrive in a large room.
"Where are we?" She asks. You look around "probably a room for spare parts and things" you say this as you take note of the multiple decommissioned robots and drones laying about on tables and crates.
Tifa looks around as she closes the door behind her. You cross your arms " the reactor was in the 3rd sublevel basement. Right now we should be in the 1st sublevel since we entered from the subway tunnels."
You then turn and bump into tifa as she is holding something her back is facing you. "Hey tifa. What's up?" You ask. You peek over her shoulder as she has scraps in her hand but she looks over her shoulder and turns tif ace you. Her arms behind her back as she bends forward "ah ah, you can't see yet"
You back up as she puts the items away and then gasps "oh no" you turn around and look up and see the security camera looking down at you "shit, they saw us already"
Tifa looks down the hall as she grabs your hand "let's not waste time. Let's move before they catch up to us"
You start running after her as she lets go of your hand.
You and her beginning your path to the reactor to show Shinra what for.
