"H-hey Seph" James waved , taking his seat at the potions table
"Hi James , I hope you don't mind , I would sit with um him but er-" the girl started to explain
"I don't mind at all" the boy grinned placing his elbows on the table and resting his head in between them as he listened to the girl.
He sat like that practically for the whole lesson , only moving to show her the correction for a problem or to help her with a difficult spelling.
Persephone enjoyed the comfort of James. She liked the fact that the two were so close and talking. Talking. To one another.
"Thanks so much James" Persephone praised as the lesson ended
"For what Seph?" James replied with a smile
"The help i suppose" she shrugged
"Oh that's fine. I enjoyed that actually"
"So did i" she said lifting herself up out of her seat and placing her belongings into her satchel
"Did you - did you want to come into the dorm? I can help you finish the homework he set if you want" he flushed - his hand reaching to scratch the back of his head.
"An absolute lifesaver thankyou James" she said hugging the boy out of excitement. The boy's reaction being slightly delayed as he wasn't expecting the girl to latch onto him so suddenly , but it wasn't long before he returned the hug.
"Does now work?" she continued earning a slow nod and a guide towards the Gryffindor dorms.
"Welcome to the humble abode" James welcomed , arms open wide gesturing to the red common room .

"What! No way" Persephone laughed holding her stomach
"Yeah I used to be terrified of butterflies" James blushed
"It just doesn't suit you I guess" Persephone shrugged laying herself down on James' bed.
The two had moved upstairs into the marauders dorm as the common room got more crowded.
"Oh really" he challenged , laying down aswell
"What the star chaser of Gryffindor is scared of bugs?"
"Star chaser?" he smirked
"Shut up. You know you're good" she said pushing his arm
"You're not too bad yourself I suppose" he stated wrapping his arm around her shoulder
"Not quite star chaser of slytherin then"
"Nowhere near Percy" he joked "3rd best maybe"
"There's only 3 chasers you idiot"
"I know" he said , earning a shove from the girl beside him causing the girl to land on top of him as he pulled her closer.
"You have pretty eyes" he stated
"They haven't got any colour in them" the girl put simply
"And?"
"What's so pretty about them?" she retorted politely
James paused slightly he didn't want to openly admit to the girl ,yet, that he thought every part of her was pretty.
"I can see my own reflection" he resorted to saying , a smirk coming across his face and a smile crossing Persephone's.
"James are you in here!?" Sirius shouted barging into the dorm room
"Oh hey Seph"
"Hey Sirius" she greeted attempting to climb off James but he had a tight grip on her waist that stopped her from getting up
"You comfortable there James?" Sirius smirked
"Pads what do you want?" James groaned rolling his eyes at his friend's idiocy
"My shirt back actually" he said nodding his head at the band shirt James currently had on
"Right now?" the boy asked
"Yeah" Sirius pettily said
James gently moved the girl off of him and slipped the shirt off handing it to Sirius. Slightly unaware of the girl beside him who was admiring his athletic physique.
"Don't forget to wipe the drool away Seph , you've got a bit on your left" Sirius said as he left the room
"Sorry about that" James said as he walked over to find another shirt
"It's fine" the girl said rapidly wiping her mouth when James turned around just in case there was anything there
"Did you want to get changed into something? You've been in uniform for a while" James suggested
"I haven't got any clothes on me James" she stated as though it was obvious
"Borrow mine" he shrugged digging out his smallest pair of jogging bottoms and his quidditch jumper
"There"
"Your quidditch jumper?" she asked
"So you can have the star chaser experience"
he said handing her the items of clothing
"I'll turn around" he then said turning his back to her and allowing her to get changed
"I'm done" she said after a couple minutes
"Perfect. Being a star chaser suits you well" he said , loving the butterflies that had entered his stomach at the girl in his clothes
"Star chasers have rather comfy clothes" she said back , seating herself next to James on the bed
"Well from a star chaser I have to agree with you there"
