Isabellas POV
After the guys left I turned to Samantha to scold her. "What the hell Sam" I said "he likes you" She simply said "who? Alex? No he doesn't" I said she rolled her eyes "he does no one in they're right mind would back up Max and this stupid plan of his if not to get close to someone" she said making a good point.
"Look I'm sure right now he's just feeling you out to see if he actually has a chance" she said with a shrug. Is she right does he really like me I asked myself, I haven't really been in a relationship since Sophomore year I don't even think I remember how to be in one.
"This will be good for you, you haven't dated in a long while" she said I sighed
"Fine but since we're on the topic how about you and Max" I said wiggling my eyebrows she rolled her eyes
"That is never happening" she said
"Why not" I asked
"Well Because he's max" she said
"The same max who shared his lunch with you in 3rd grade because you forgot yours at home" I said
"That was years ago" she said
"The same max who got you something for Valentine's Day because you 6th grade boyfriend didn't" I said
"I payed him back for that" she said I rolled my eyes
"Ok then the same max who waited outside in the hot sun just so he could walk you home or when you forgot we had a test freshman year so he stayed up all night writing notes for you so that you could study" I said
"Ok I get" she said
"Look you've always been one to go for the douche bags instead of the good guys I'm just saying maybe this time try a good guy" i said she sighed
"Whatever you know the same could be said about you" she said
"What do you mean" I asked
" Gregory he was a huge douche bag yet you liked him" she said
"What?! He wasn't that bad" I said
"No he wasn't bad he was horrible" she said we both laughed and I rolled my eyes playfully at my best friend "Ok maybe your right" I said
Night time hit and I found myself in the car with my friends on our way to go do something totally illegal and possibly end up spending the rest of our life in jail. Max and Sam was in the back seat while I was in the front with Alex as he was driving because it was his truck we decided to take, "So max tells me that your into books" Noah said trying to start conversation
"Yeah..." I simply said
"What kind do you usually read" he asked
"I uh usually read fiction you know like supernatural or superhero stuff" i said he glanced over at me
"Cool I actually read a lot of books as well" he said I looked at him surprised
"Oh really which ones do you like" I asked
"I Uh- Ummm" he said trying to come up with something and in that moment I realized that he had lied
"You don't actually like books do you" I asked he sighed
"Ok you caught me" he said I laughed and so did he.
The rest of the ride there was spent in a comfortable silence, a few minutes later we pulled up outside of the club but it didn't exactly look the same the place had yellow Tape all over there were bullet holes in everything and all the Windows were gone. And it smelt bad as well.
We walked around back and went in. "God it stank in here" Samantha said as we stepped over broken glass and other things.
"I thought there was dead bodies in here?" Noah asked
"No man the cops came back and removed them, I heard it on the radio" Max said
"The radio?" Samantha asked
"Yeah this cop radio I snagged from one of the cops car" he said nonchalantly We all looked at each then back at him
"Oh my god you did WAHT!?" Samantha said yup it's official we are most definitely going to jail goodbye warm bed and good food. I thought to myself just then Max called us over.
"Look guys I think I found something" Max said we all went over only to see that it was......
