The sealing magic user, Lumiere, Licht, and Patry were relieved when the demon disintegrated in front of their eyes.
And they were also heartbroken.
"Thank you..." Secre cannot put into words what she is feeling right now. All of their suffering and hard work didn't go in vain.
All she knew was, she is grateful that the demon was no more. Even...Even if Y/N didn't survive she was grateful to the female.
Mimosa covered her mouth with her hands with tears streaming down her eyes.
"Y/N..." Asta was staring wide eyed at the ground with fat tears falling out from his eyes. He gritted his teeth and fell to his knees, " Damn it!!!"
Yuno refused to believe it.
"No...She can't..." He shook his head in disbelief.
"Y/N..." Even Lumiere couldn't help whispering her name. All those times he thought of teasing her for all the times she spoke to him when he was a statue. All those times he finally thought he would get the chance to...
Licht would never unhear that scream.
The scream of pain and suffering. The scream that they caused when they killed both her and the demon. They couldn't do anything...Nothing could be done to save her.
He felt useless.
Patry cried and rubbed his tears making his face hot. He promised to be good and help everyone and yet, he couldn't help her.
'Y/N...I'm so-'
A glowing blue light from the far corner of the room caught Patry's attention. He slowly walked over to the light, adverting his eyes to the small glowing necklace that was carelessly on the ground.
Picking it up he noticed a bunch of cracks on it and a bright blue light that seem to almost burst from the gem.
"That necklace..." The corner of Asta's eye caught sight of the blue glow and couldn't help but looking up. He quickly stumbled to his feet and ran over to where Patry held the familiar necklace.
Everyone's attention was now on the ash blond as he took the necklace from the elf's hands.
" It's Y/N's..."
Everyone perked up from the words and rushed over to hunch around the necklace.
" Do you think..." Mimosa questioned out loud.
"Let me see" Lumiere was passed the necklace and could feel traces of Y/N's magic inside. Hope blossomed from the pits of his heart as he used his thumb to trace over the cracks.
" Maybe this could bring her back..." Patry spoke.
" Then do it" Yuno was quick to speak. His heart was racing and his head was thumping. She had to be alive.
She had to.
" Step back" Secre grabbed the necklace. Her small fingers traced over the cracks before pressing into the center of the gem. She pressed onto it harder and harder until the gem started cracking by itself.
Everyone stumbled backwards when the gem flew out her hands and into the the air. It glowed a brilliant blue from within the cracks as it broke apart from piece to piece.
The light became so bright that they had to cover there eyes. A large beam of blue light shot out to the sky and dark cloud crowded over it. Thunder rumbled from the black cloud as blue sparks of light peeked out from them. It sparked around the clouds like a battle was happening from within.
Suddenly a single blue lightening shot from the clouds and into the pieces of gem. The pieces turned into blue mist as it encircled each other.
Everyone could feel a pull of there mana as it was sucked into the mist.
The cloud and light beam all disappeared in a flash and all that was left was a misty ball of blue light.
It was quiet and everyone was stunned from what they were seeing and feeling. Mana from everyone was being pulled into this misty ball of blue light.
" What's happening?" Asta questioned when he noticed that there Ki was being pulling inside this weird but beautiful misty light.
No one could answer him.
Suddenly, the misty ball of light stopped pulling mana from everyone and burst into blue particles.
The blue particles spread around the whole area like rain.
They encircled around the people in the room and wisped around until they all started rushing to one direction. The blue particles seemed to grow and multiply and form into a shape.
A familiar shape of a female with really long hair formed from the blue particles. In her hand she held a glowing blue ball of light and she seemed to be staring into it.
"Y/N"
Everyone watched with happy hearts as Y/N was being formed piece and piece from the blue mana.
"Y/N" Yuno murmured with glossy eyes as he watched her form turning from a misty look at a solid form.
" Y/N!" Asta shouted with a teary smile.
Y/N's body started to turn solid as wisps of blue mana wrapped around her body. It fluttered against her new and fresh skin like water.
Her hair glowed blue as it flowed on the air around her. Her feet touched the ground as her body started to finish it's transformation.
The glowing blue light now laid inside her chest where her heart is.
Y/N fluttered her eyes before taking smooth and slow steps towards the group. Her misty mana followed her steps as she walked barefooted.
She adored a silky white dress that dragged on the floor. Her long blue hair pulled along with her as she walked.
Her head was held high and a serious expression was adoring her features.
She looked ethereal. Like a goddess that graced the earth with her presence.
" Is that really Y/N?" Patry asked.
Y/N looked at everyone who was staring at her in awe before she finally utter her words.
" I'm starving..." Her stomach growled in the silence. She patted her belly from the empty feeling with a pout on her beautiful face.
"Yup that's her" Licht laughed.
" Y/N!!" Asta rushed up to her and threw himself into her arms. The blue misty mana around her body fluttered a little backwards from the impact.
The female caught him easily and smiled at the crying male.
" I'm back..."
Yuno rushed over and hugged the female from behind as well. Y/N could feel the wetness on her shoulder making her pat his head.
When the two pulled away with sniffles, Y/N made eye contact with Lumiere. The two watched each other for a second before rushing toward each other.
They hugged each other into an intimate hug and full of beating hearts.
" Stupid, Stupid, Stupid..." Lumiere sniffed.
Y/N laughed with a happy heart as she hugged the old prince. When they pulled backwards They gave each other identical teasing smiles.
" Alright, alright. Let me get my hug, " Licht broke the two up and hugged his little sister. Patry joined into the hug as well.
"Y/N!" He cried.
"You're such a baby" She teased. Patry pouted at the female and was about to refute when Secre interrupted them.
"I'm sorry to break this up but we still have a situation."
The dark purple flood of magic almost occupied the spherical room they were in.
Even the light magic that is protecting them against the devil's magic is getting dimmer. Lumiere finally realized his limits and cracks can be seen all over his body.
"Not good... My body's about to reach its limit..." The prince told them the unfortunate news.
The Shadow Palace is falling apart as the devil's magic continues to devour everything on its path. The Magic Knights and the elves who are still in the lower part of the Shadow Palace thought they will meet their ends until a certain spatial magic user decided to aid them.
A pitch-black spatial portal appeared above Asta and the others as they saw their fellow Magic Knights along with the elves fall upon them out of the blue.
"Asta!" Noelle stuttered with her Valkyrie armor. She happened to fall directly above the magicless boy.
"Noelle! I'm glad you're all okay!" Asta's signature grin plastered on his face. He was grateful that all of them able to reach the top of the Shadow Palace.
And now that Y/N was back, his heart didn't feel the pain of grief.
"Why are clinging to me, Bakasta?! Get off me!" The water magic user grumbled with a rosy shade on her cheeks. She curls her fingers into a fist and delivers a strong punch across Asta's face.
"Yikes" Y/N shook her head.
Noelle huffed and looked towards the female before her mouth was gapping.
"Y/N?!"
"Hm"
" What happened to you?!" Noelle examined the beautiful female who stood in front of her. It made her cheeks heat up.
'What's wrong with me?! My heart is beating fast...'
" Eh, long story, " Y/N shrugged.
The former member from the Eye of the Midnight Sun Valtos and Rades revealed themselves as they come from the black spatial magic portal.
"Both I and the one I believed in were nothing but pitiful sinners. I'm going to atone my sins and this is the first step..." Valtos stated genuinely.
"You guys..." The magicless boy uttered in shock. He couldn't believe that out of all the mages out there, their former enemies will be the ones that will help them.
"Don't you get the wrong idea! I've never been wrong!" Rades stated stubbornly as he gestures his right hand dramatically.
"And you haven't done anything here, either!" Asta retorted with an irk mark on his forehead.
"Shut the hell up! I do what I want!" The corpse magic user groans in irritation.
Patry's mind lingers on a certain world tree magic user. He knew that he needed to do what is right after they leave the Shadow Palace.
" Your hair is so long!" Mimosa gushed as she gently touched the wispy blue mana around her hair.
"Yeah, my head still feels light though" Y/N touched her soft hair.
Meanwhile, Yami suddenly emerged from the dark purple flood of magic along with Charla, Captain of the Purple Orcas, and the chain magic user, Revchi.
"Man, thank goddess there was a boneless ham that just happened to pass by. Even if you go invisible with your magic, your Ki makes you totally obvious." The dark magic user smirk as he glances at Poizot who was being held by him. "Don't even think you can get away, you ham bastard." Yami threatens before his eyes caught the appearance of Y/N, " Whoa, what happened to you?" He scrunched up his face.
"Captain Yami and the Captain of the Blue Rose Knights!" Asta being shouted loudly.
" Is there something wrong with how I look..." Y/N questioned herself.
"And the former Captain of the Purple Orcas?!" Asta uttered in shock. "And you're...that bastard that stole Yuno's grimoire, like, who knows when?!"
He didn't even know how and why they managed to get in the Shadow Palace. He thought they were locked up in the dungeon from there crimes.
"How dare you treat me like this when I've been weakened?" Poizot groans in annoyance.
"The name's Revchi." The chain magic user corrected with his usual voice.
"What the heck are you two doing here?!" Asta demanded as his emerald eyes shifted atto the two crime doers.
"What are you doing here when you have no magic?!" The chain magic user asked in return.
Lumiere couldn't help but smile at the sight in front of him. He stood next to Y/N as his left hand lightly traced over her blue mana.
"Wow... So many humans with so many different kinds of magic!" He said with amazement. "Looks like the Clover Kingdom is in good hands," he gave a closed eye smile.
"Anyway, we gotta get the heck outta here!" The ash blond male suggested to which they nodded in response.
'I'm still hungry though...'
