IN NO TIME AT ALL, DAY HAD LEFT AND NIGHT HAD COME.
the girls had all pulled you into their little huddle, where you all discussed doing a room competition. whoever had the best room would win.. nothing, really. you were pretty excited, it sounded fun.
"are your rooms all set up, boys?~" mina asks in a sing-song voice.
"yep! now we're just relaxin'!" kaminari says.
"so, y'know.. we were all talking, and we've got a suggestion! let's have a room showcasing competition!"
midoriya's face drops.
"how about it?!"
you hum.
in the end, you all did it anyway.
first up was midoriya's room.
"aahhh! nonono, just wait a minute!" he screeches, you swing the door open.
as expected, it was absolutely decked out with all might merchandise. you sweat-drop, humming lowly.
that's a lot of all might... he must admire him
"it's all might from top to bottom! now this is a geek's room if i've ever seen one!" uraraka wows.
"i really look up to him after all.. i'm so embarrassed.." midoriya mutters, face tomato red. you rub his back.
next up was tokoyami's, he stands, blocking his door, arms crossed.
"hmph. how trivial.."
you huff at him.
mina and hagakure push him out of the way, opening the door.
"it's too damn dark! and too damn scary!" hagakure screeches, you beam in awe.
the room was nearly pitched out, everything was black and witchy. you thought it looked awesome.
wahh! so cool~
tokoyami didn't look very pleased.
next up, aoyama's.
as you could only expect, it was the shiniest thing you had ever seen.
you were sure everything was either glitter covered or gemmed up, he even had a large disco ball hanging from his roof. you shield your eyes,
you wobble slightly,
bright...
"it's bright as hell!!"
"non, non. not bright... it's dazzling!"
you sigh.
"it's exactly what i expected. it falls completely within my hypothesis" mina sighs.
you all exit the room.
"the only one left on the second floor is.."
"come on in.. i'll show you something amazing.." mineta drools, you frown.
"let's go to the third floor"
you all ignore mineta, heading over to the third floor.
first one up stairs was ojiro's room. plain and boring.
everyone tried to compliment it, but failed miserably.
you just hum, scratching your cheek.
ida's room had around three shelves full of spare glasses, you questioned when he would ever need that many glasses. he also had a whole wall of difficult looking books.
nonetheless, you thought it looked cool.
kaminari's room was.. interesting.
there was just a ton of random stuff he seemed to have pick up off the ground.
koda's room was adorable. it even had a small bunny.
you beamed as you stroked it's soft fur.
the boys had now gotten into competition and were dissing his room, saying he was cheating.
"don't you think it's strange that only the boys have to endure criticism of their rooms?" mineta asks, "this was supposed to be a 'tournament', wasn't it? so, it goes without saying.. that we can't decide the winner until we see the girls' rooms, isn't that right?!"
you deadpan.
"in order to determine who's got the best interior design sense in the class.. we must evaluate each and every room equally, with all members present, don't you think?!"
"ok, why not?" mina says cheerily, you just hum with a shrug.
"um.. alright then! we're gonna decide the room king! sound good?"
"room king..?" jirou questions.
"there's really no need to go that far, if you ask me.." ojiro sweat-drops.
you all go up the next floor, "bakugo, kirishima and shouji... wasn't it?" uraraka asks.
"where has bakugo gone off to?" ida questions.
" 'sounds fuckin' stupid. i'm going to bed' he said. honestly, i'm fading too.."
"all right then, kirishima's room it is! let's keep this ball rolling!" hagakure cheers.
kirishima's room was, well, let's just put it.. manly.
there was a punching bag right in the middle and flame patterns along the walls.
shoji's room was even worse than ojiro's. there was nothing more in it than than a futon and a small table.
basically the definition of minimalistic.
you sweat-drop at it.
sero's room was pretty cool. fun patterns and a hammock.
next up was todoroki's room, it was a basic japanese-style. similar to your room back at the butterfly estate, you hum happily.
the last one of the boys was sato, his room was basically a large kitchen.
he even made a cake, you pout, wishing you could have some.
"and with that, we're done with the boys.. yum!"
"so that means we're.. yum.. up next!"
"all that sweetness has got me feeling refreshed! let's do this!"
"indeed!"
"the only place that connects to the girls' is the first floor, so.."
"yum.. let's head down then"
"i don't wanna... yum"
so next up was the girls half, jirou was first.
she was pretty embarrassed, but you thought her room was cool.
it was filled with instruments and music related things.
next was hagakure's, it was what you expected. 'girly'.
mina's was eccentric and animal printed.
uraraka's was plain, but had all the necessities.
"next up is asui.. hey, come to think of it, tsuyu's been m.i.a. for a while, hasn't she?"
you hum slightly.
"ah, i think tsuyu wasn't feeling very well!" uraraka says, you hum worriedly.
"welp, if she's under the weather, i guess it can't be helped. we'll get a look at her room once she's feelin' better"
"next up, [name]!"
you open your door, smiling happily.
kaminari nods, "cute, adorable, nice. just as i expected"
momo smiles, "you have a lovely room, [name]"
you smile at her.
finally was momo's room, elegant and cramped.
there was a giant bed which took up most of the space, a bookshelf and a small desk.

"WELL THEN.. HAS EVERYONE GOT THEIR VOTES IN?!"
you sit back on the lounge, swinging your legs.
you had voted for todoroki's room. you liked the japanese style, it reminded you of home.
"need i remind you that voting for oneself is against the rules?! and with that! excluding bakugo and tsuyu.. the tentative first inaugural room king award goes to.. drum roll please! with 6 votes.. the room which scored leaps and bounds over the others, single handedly beating out of all of them for that vaunted first spot... rikido sato!"
"huuuh?!"
turns out, all the others only voted him because of the cake.
