Phoebe was in the kitchen. It's pitch black. "Hey, who turned out the lights? Then, she walked in and turned on the light. The warlock attacked her. He throws her over the table. Then, she kicked him and he fell on a knife. He disappeared "Uh-oh!"
Just then, Prue, Paris and Piper run in. "What happened?" Piper asked.
"I think I killed the warlock again." Phoebe replied to her.
"Oh, oh." Paris muttered.
"Ugh, Phoebe!" Prue shouted.
"Phoebe!" Piper exclaimed.
"Well, I didn't mean to. It was a gut reaction. You know, self-preservation and stuff." Phoebe defended herself.
"Hmm." Prue leaves the kitchen. Phoebe, Paris and Piper followed her. "You know, I've been thinking. I'm pretty sure he won't actually hurt us. I mean he needs us. So, let's just say he knocks one of us off."
Piper looked at her. "Then the power of three will be broken and we wouldn't have the strength to kill him."
"And I can't help you." Paris comment. "I mean, I'm not a charmed one."
Phoebe looked at them. "And then he takes a permanent cat nap. But we're assuming that he's smart enough to know this. I mean, what if he isn't? You know? What if he doesn't know he shouldn't kill us and we just sit there and watch it happen?"
Prue sighed. "Yeah, well, what other choice do we have? I mean, we kill him four more times, he wins, becomes more powerful that we can handle. Either way we lose."
"I vote for not losing at all." Piper comment.
Then, Phoebe saw boxes of Piper's stuff sitting in the foyer. "Wow!"
"Uh, yeah, sorry. I'll get all this stuff out of the way as soon as..." Piper was interrupted.
Phoebe pointed at the stuff. "You're really going to do this, huh?"
"Yeah. You know, we have lived apart before." Piper replied to her.
Prue looked at her. "Our lives were apart, Piper. It's different now. I just think that we need to talk this through, that way we all know exactly what the consequences are for all of us."
Just then, Kit meows. Phoebe sighed. "Ooh, saved by the meow. You know, I don't think I'm ever gonna be able to look at Kit quite in the same way. Or get undressed in front of him for that matter."
"You guys are right, we should talk this through." Piper headed for the door. Kit meows.

Paris walked into the manor. "Okay, what the hell happened? I went home for a second to grab something!"
"The warlock attacked again!" Phoebe replied to her.
"Oh." Paris comment.
Piper was putting ingredients in a pot as Phoebe comment. "That girl. There's just no reason. I got used to there being a reason, you know, an explanation. But she didn't even..."
Prue nodded. "Stand a chance." She finished the sentence. "But there was a reason, Pheebs, he was sending a message."
"Yeah, and we got it loud and clear. But there's nothing we can do that we haven't already done." Piper added.
"Omg." Paris comment. "What happened?"
"We were at the cafe for coffee, that's where he attacked us." Prue replied to her.
"Oh, that's not good." Paris comment, worried.
Then, Phoebe looked at them. "So, what, he just keeps killing until we kill him?"
"Which is exactly what he wants." Piper replied to her.
Prue pointed. "Exactly what we can't do." Then she looked at the pot. "Uh, is that a potion?"
"I wouldn't know where to begin. I'm just keeping my hands busy. It's something Grams taught me, actually. To improvise. But all I've come up with is mud." Piper replied to her.
Paris looked at the stuff. "It is mud."
"Very helpful." Prue comment.
"Sorry." Paris shrugged.
Phoebe sighed. "So how do we kill a warlock we know we shouldn't be killing?" She asked to them.
"Well, we've only got two more chances to figure that out." Prue replied to her.

The warlock was sitting on the couch. "The Charmed Ones. What does a fella have to do to get killed around here?"
Prue shook with her head. "Not gonna happen."
"Hmm, I could uh....sever a head. Only take a second." The Warlock stood up.
"Don't even think about it." Piper froze him. "Wait a minute, that's it. I'll just keep freezing him until midnight. A new moon means bye-bye bad guy, right?"
The Warlock fought through her freeze. "Oh, I'm just going to keep getting better and better at this."
"Oh, it was a thought." Phoebe comment as then they run into the foyer.
The Warlock smirked. "Come on, time's wasting. You know, I'm just going to keep on killing. And the next one won't go so fast. The next one I'll saver. You're telling me all you're gonna do is stand back and watch? How many people have to die before you do what I ask?"
"None." Prue used her power and a letter opener stabbed the warlock. He disappeared. "I'm sorry, I..."
"Had to." Piper finished her.
"We know." Paris added.
Phoebe looked at Prue. "I would've done it first but you beat me to it."
"Alright, well, he's only got two more lives left." Prue nodded.
"And we've only got one option." Piper added.
Phoebe frowned. "But we already looked in the book."
"We did." Paris agreed with Phoebe.
Prue looked at them. "We look again. No more pussy-footing around."

The warlock was there yelling. He disappeared. "Well, that's number eight." Prue comment.
"Oh, oh." Paris sighed.
"One life to live." Piper added.
Phoebe looked sad. "I know life isn't fair, but this sucks."
"Yeah." Paris comment.
Piper sighed. "I know, he left a stain, but I think with a little water and..."
Phoebe shook with her head. "Uh, no. Death isn't brief, it's permanent, and this guy gets to cheat it not once but nine times."
"Yeah, cheaters aren't supposed to prosper." Piper agreed.
Prue looked at them. "You know, if he had any idea what death is really like, you know, the real thing not the abridged version, he wouldn't be so hot under the collar to do it again."
"What if we showed him." Paris comment as Phoebe noticed where she was going.
"What do you mean?" Piper asked, confused.
Phoebe took over, from what Paris was saying. "Well, every time he dies he feels pain, right?"
"Yeah, but only for a second." Prue replied to her.
"But what if somehow we could catch him in that second?" Phoebe asked them.
"The instant of death in that one moment where he actually feels pain, and then magnify it nine times." Paris replied to her.
Piper looked at the youngest sisters. "Then he would feel the pain of nine deaths and it actually might be enough to kill him. I like it."
"Well, we've only got one shot. Any other ideas?" Prue asked as Phoebe and Paris shook their heads. "Then let's do it."

Prue came out of the living room, Phoebe and Paris came down the stairs and Piper came out of the living room. "Spell?" Prue asked to them.
"Check!" Phoebe replied.
"Potion?" Paris asked to them.
Piper looked at Prue. "Check! Sharp painful implement?"
"Check." Prue held up a fireplace tool.
"Ooh, nice choice." Phoebe comment.
"Thank you." Prue thanked her.
Piper looked at them. "So what is our level of confidence in this plan?"
"Well, on a scale from one to ten, ten being we whip ass, one being he laughs at us while we're on fire and naked..." Phoebe was interrupted.
"Maybe you should lie to me." Piper interrupted her.
"Nice." Paris muttered.
Then, the warlock bursts in. "Hello, ladies. Mmmmmm, I love the smell of defeated witch in the evening."
"Yeah, can we just get this over with, please?" Prue asked to him.
"Oh, it's fine when you want to have coffee, but when I want to exchange pleasantries, you're in a hurry to kill me." The Warlock snarled. "Where are your manners?"
"We lost them when that girl lost her life." Phoebe replied to him.
The Warlock looked at them. "And who's fault is that? Wait a minute, do you think I'm an idiot? You've got something up your sleeve."
Phoebe looked at Prue, Paris and Piper. "Hello? Sleeveless."
"You know the moment that I gain immortality, I'm coming back here to mangle your pretty little faces." The Warlock threatened them.
"Nope." Paris comment.
"You wanna die or not?" Piper added.
"Do it." The Warlock replied to her.
"Alrighty then. Ready?" Prue throws the tool at him. "Now!" Then, Piper froze him and throws a potion at him.
The tree sisters spoke, little did they know that Paris joined them, the power was even stronger. "Nine times this evil's cheated death, felt no pain and kept his breath, this warlock standing in our midst, let him feel what he has missed."
Black ghostly shadows float around the Warlock. "No! No! No!" Then, the warlock exploded and disappeared.
Piper looked at the others. "Okay, was that for good?"
"I think so." Paris replied to her.
"Well, if it wasn't, he's really gonna miss his ear because it looks like part of its dripping off the clock." Prue added.
"Yelch." Piper exclaimed.
"Um, ninth time's the charm." Phoebe comment to them. "That was definitely different, he's gone for good."
"And yet somehow we're still here, still together." Piper told them.
Phoebe looked at her. "Not for long. Is there anything special you wanna do on your last night here?"
"Um, I don't know." Piper told them. "I guess, can I have a couple of minutes alone?"
"Alright, I wanted to go home anyway." Paris replied to her.
"Yeah, uh, we'll be upstairs if you, you know." Prue added. Then, Prue and Phoebe go upstairs as Paris went home. Piper sat down and pulled a small bottle out of a box. She saw a note stuck to the bottom of it. She smiled and made her choice, she and Leo were staying home with Prue and Phoebe.
