*Had fun writing this chapter*
(y/n) instinctively swallowed the stuff on Sanzu's finger.
Kokonoi began to scream at Sanzu who frantically yelled back midst of his high. But this was all a blur to (y/n) because she started to see purple swirls in her vision. She felt nauseous. The soda in her stomach was fizzling from Koko squishing her stomach too hard.
"GET A DOCTOR GET A FUCKING DOCTOR" Koko screamed frantically throwing his cell phone at his bodyguards. Full-on panic mode. His fight or flight response was flaring.
"CHILL THE FUCK OUT MANN IT'S PROBABLY JUST KETAMINE AND---"
"---AND?!!??! YOU STUPID f-FUCKKING BASTARD WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING FUCKING CONCOCTION OF DRUGS"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU'RE TOO LOUD DUMB BITCH WAS GETTING ON MY NERVES."
"BITCHASS C*NT MIKEY'S GONNA KILL YOU. BEFORE THAT RAN IS GONNA KILL US. HE'S GONNA SNIPE US FROM ITALY. I SWEAR."
"SHE'S RAN'S KID?! FUCK-" Sanzu snatched the phone from the bodyguards and smashed it onto the marble floor.
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!!!!" Koko glared at Sanzu.
"MIKEY ISN'T GONNA KNOW SHIT. NEITHER WILL THE PSYCHOPATHIC BROTHERS. THIS STAYS BETWEEN US"
"OK FINE- FINE WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO!! THINK WITH THAT ROTTEN ASS BRAIN OF YOURS"
"YOU THINK. I'M HIGH AS FUCK. LIL BItch seems fine..." Sanzu's sentence trailed off as (y/n) vomited all her soda onto the floor. euulhhhhh. the stuff fizzed and frothed. It was pink and gooey from the artificial flavoring of the ice cream.
Kokonoi felt like passing out.
"Koko~~~~" (y/n) wailed. She looked up at Sanzu but his face was all warped and squiggly.
"OH my GODD!!" Kokonoi did not have the strength to comfort (y/n). He himself felt like passing out from panic.
(y/n) convulsed and vomited once more.
"HOLY---" Sanzu also began to panic. "WHAT SHOULD WE DO!!"
The bodyguards had no idea what to do. They were ordered not to move and only to spontaneously act if their superiors were in danger. It looked like the kid was definitely in danger. One of the bodyguards stepped out to help in some way at least to stop Kokonoi from shaking (y/n) so violently in an attempt to make her vomit out all of the drugs she ingested. Sanzu screamed at him "DON'T FUCKING MOVE I WILL SHOOT YOU" Nothing could be done.
"What the hell is going on?" It was a soft voice compared to all of the chaotic screeching noises that filled the luxurious room.
"Kakucho!" Sanzu and Kokonoi shouted in unison. Relief flooded the both of them. Kokonoi had small tears at the side of his eyes.
"I decided to stop by for a drink but..." he stared at the obscure scene in front of him with two dangerous adults absolutely losing their shit over a child who seemed to have vomited a bunch of pink stuff.
"Did I come at the wrong time?"
"Kakucho help--" Kokonoi held out a dazed (y/n) who forgot how to cry in the moment of ecstasy she was feeling. Her pupils were dilated, making her look more doll-like.
Kakucho felt his eyes pop out of his sockets. "Isn't this Ran's girl!?" he immediately hoisted her up from under her armpits and put her head against his cold bare skin.
(y/n) let out an eerie gurgle-mixed giggle.
"Who is youuu~?" she touched the tattoo on his chest with little taps. "Same as dada~~" she cooed.
"Is she sick?"
"SANZU FED HER DRUGS!!"
"IT WAS ON ACCIDENT."
"NO IT WASN'T YOU PURPOSEFULLY---
"I TOLD YOU SHE WAS GETTING ON MY NERVES!"
Kakucho looked at Sanzu like he looked at a senile old man - with pity and at the same time, disgust.
"I'm going to take her to the hospital." Kakucho smoothed the hair over her head. She began to cry again, and Kakucho said "shhhhh" while rubbing her back.
"But Ran would-" Kokonoi spoke hastily.
"Kokonoi you didn't do anything wrong! It's Sanzu," Kakucho spoke facts.
"Oh- oh,,, thank god!!" Kokonoi sank to his knees shaking.
"Fucking threw me under the bus," Sanzu slurred in annoyance.
"It's the truth," Kakucho spoke slowly.
"I hate that nonchalant attitude of yours," Sanzu spat on the floor.
(y/n) said ew in a small voice against Kakucho's chest. Sanzu felt like she deserved more drugs.
"Not my problem," Kakucho said making a phone call. "Bring me a ride, I'm going to the hospital" he spoke into the device.
"Wasn't she supposed to be with Mikey?" Kakucho asked.
Kokonoi froze. "Yeah, why was she with you Sanzu?"
"I don't even fucking know her." Sanzu shrugged and then began to laugh like a maniac. He plopped down on the sofa and lit a cigarette.
"Nevermind," said Kakucho, "Let's go Kokonoi."
"Yeah-" Kokonoi followed Kakucho feeling like a responsible adult at the sight of Sanzu.

The ride to the hospital was silent except for the sound of (y/n)'s hiccups and her uncontrollable giggling. She began to play with Kakucho's earring which he patiently accepted... until she yanked on it really hard and he flung her at Kokonoi to check if his earlobe hadn't been severed.
They arrived safely at the Bonten-owned hospital and were greeted with the best hospitality a hospital could offer.
(y/n) was hooked to some tubes and anesthetized. She fell fast asleep.
"Sir-," the doctor spoke hesitantly.
"Yea?" Kakucho replied.
"She will be asleep for at least 24 hours while we run some blood tests. Thankfully she did not show any symptoms of overdose. However, until the identity of the drugs administered is understood we cannot be certain of how critical her condition is."
"I see..." Kokonoi mumbled, staring at the unconscious child. If he had been a second earlier in realizing Sanzu's malicious intent, she could be alive and healthy, and... oh wait she's still alive. Kokonoi finally let himself breathe slowly.
"Also if we can get her parents' names..."
"NO!!" Kokonoi shouted which made the nurses and the doctor jump.
"Nonono, they can't know. Keep this between us."
"Yes sir."
Little did Kokonoi, Kakucho, and SANZU know that a few years later they would feel the Haitani brother's wrath when the doctor accidentally mentioned (y/n)'s drugged arrival as a joke during her influenza examination.
Anyways, Kokonoi and Kakucho both took a smoke in the lobby of the hospital which was *normally* prohibited. They were calm until a phone call popped up from Mikey.
An alarmed Kokonoi picked up the phone. The deadliest voice he'd ever heard from Mikey slithered into his ear through the phone.
"Kokonoi... I can't get in touch with Sanzu... is (y/n) with you right now..."
Kokonoi realized that Mikey was more angry at Sanzu than himself. But his voice was so shaky that all he could really say was, "Y e s."
