TW: Body dysphoria
"Hey Charlieee, wake up." Charlie groaned silently and slowly opened his eyes. He saw Nick's face staring down at him, blushing slightly and smiling. Both boy quickly got off eachother, blushing quite a lot. After a few moments they both laughed and got closer together,
"Sorry! You surprised me! I thought you left last night?" Charlie said, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. Nick shook his head,
"I went down to grab us a snack, you said you were tired but I didn't know how much till I came back up to find you asleep on the beanbag." Nick chuckled, Charlie blushed and put a hand to the back of his neck, chuckling in an embarresed way,
"Oh... Woops." He said. Nick smiled at him, before helping him out of bed.
Charlie went into the bathroom to change and try to tame the mess he called his hair while Nick sat down on the beanbag and scrolled through Instagram.
Nick scrolled through and looked at all of his friends posts, Tara and Darcy were on a date down at the lake, they shared a picture of them kissing while sharing a coffee, showing off the beautiful view behind them. Nick suddenly got an idea from the post, he liked the post and placed the phone down quickly, blushing at his own thoughts.
He went over to the bathroom door and knocked on,
"Charrrr. I've got a suggestion." He said, completely out of context for Charlie. Charlie opened the door and gave Nick a confused look,
"For what?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at what possible idea he could've thought of.
"What we can do today." Nick replied, Charlie cocked his head to one side,
"And what might that be?" He placed a hand on his hip. Nick smirked at Charlie and got closer to him,
"Let's go downtown to that park you love, have a day there. I'll bring Nellie, we can even get ice-cream." Nick said, moving closer to Charlie,
"Like a date???" Charlie immediately got flustered, stumbling back and letting Nick open the door wider.
Nick chuckled,
"If that's okay with you. Unless you have any plans today." Nick put a hand to the back of his neck, he didn't want to force Charlie to do anything. Nick shrugged,
"Not that I've been told about, plus, anything to hang out with you~" Charlie smiled, Nick rolled his eyes but his blush was very noticeable.
The two agreed to it (obviously) and Charlie shut the door once more to get ready. Nick knew it would take him a good half an hour to get ready as Charlie cared much more about his appearance than Nick did. Nick made sure he didn't smell and that his hair wasn't a complete mess, but other than that what he wore didn't bother him. He knew anyways that Charlie would probably wear one of HIS jumpers, of which he had stole many of already.
After a little while of waiting (and a lot of scrolling on social media.) Charlie finally came out with, as Nick expected, one of his sweaters and his signature ripped black jeans. Charlie smiled, running a hand through his own hair. Nick smiled back,
"Ready to go?" Charlie asked. Nick shook his head. Charlie gave him a confused look, Nick pointed down to his stomach,
"I'm hungryyyy. Let's eat something before we go." Charlie chuckled nervously, of course, eating, why would he forget to do that?
They went downstairs and were greeted by Tori, who smiled at Charlie,
"Hey little bro, sleep well?" She asked, Nick and Charlie looked at eachother, she smiled deviously. Charlie turned red,
"It was... Fine." He said, turning away from her and grabbing out some cereal and milk for Nick. Nick just didn't reply, watching Charlie's movements in awe, like he always did, he was just so small, and cute, he just wanted to cling onto his and never let go.
Charlie handed a bowl of cereal to Nick, pouring milk and cereal inside the bowl before putting everything away, very quickly,
"You could've atleast handled that with a little more care." Nick said, pretending to sound offended. Charlie rolled his eyes and turned back to Nick, holding a granola bar.
"Just eat the food so that we can leave." Charlie said, walking over to the dining table and sitting himself down.
Nick sat down opposite him, smiling. Charlie nibbled at his granola bar, still finishing it quite quickly. Nick knew Charlie wasn't much of an eater, hopefully though he would eat later on in the day. Nick finished his bowl of cereal soon after, placing the bowl in the sink and wiping his mouth. Charlie laughed, Nick was confused, Charlie pointed to his face,
"You have a milk mustach!" He said, still laughing. Nick blushed in an embarresed way. Charlie went onto his tiptoes and used the sweater to wipe of the milk,
"There, better." He said, feeling proud with him self. Nick couldn't help but just look down at the other boy, flustered.
Both boys stopped and stared at eachother for a moment, lost in eachother's eyes.
"Gay!" Tori said rather loud, causing both boys to jump and look at her. She just chuckled, giving them eyebrows. Charlie shook his head,
"Well! Let's go Nick! Tori if mum asks where I am just say I'm at Nicks, tell her to text me when she needs me back." Charlie instructed his sister, she nodded,
"Have fun being gay." Charlie sighed in an annoyed way, only receiving a devious smile back from his older sister.
He turned around and went over to the front door, Nick had already put his shoes on, so Charlie quickly slid his on and they left the house, heading for the park. Both boys were very excited, although they hung out all the time and went placed a lot they never considered those any proper dates. They hadn't been on many dates. So this was quite exciting and always ended up being really fun and amazing. This was going to be so much fun!
