Y/N's POV
When we got into the cafeteria it was pretty crowded already. It wasn't even lunchtime yet. We grabbed ourselves a few sandwiches because the kids liked that too. We were eating and talking when I got a text.
L: Hey, where are you? It's almost 12 o'clock.
Y/N: Uhm my appointment is at 1 pm
Y/N: We're having lunch in the cafeteria, come join us if you're already here.
L: Right... I'm coming. Should've written it down.
Y/N: You ok? You never forget things.
L: Yes sorta, tell you why after your appointment. Love you, see you in 5
Y/N: Love you too
This was weird. "Uhm Liz is joining us. She made a mistake with the time. It was a little weird but she'll join us. Wait, is that okay with you?" I ask. I realised I was only thinking about myself now. "It is. Relax baby," he said. "Yeah right. Tell me how please," I say sarcastically.
"Well if you kept breathing, would be a good first step," I hear someone behind me say. "Be nice for your sister Liz. She's scared and stressed and she's grumpy," Tim said as he warned her. "I'm not grumpy you idiot. I'm in pain. I don't see you losing blood for the next week so you have no say in this," I growl towards him. "Oh no. This will be fun," Liz said as she moved back.
"What do you mean Liz?" I ask really annoyed. "What about, you're on your period about to have a psychiatric appointment in an hour. You were really tipsy if you were on your period. I'll be careful," she says jokingly. I just don't think it's funny. Tim and Liz started a conversation and I just sat there. Not saying more than needed and barely eating. "Okay Y/N. What's the problem? I can't have you not eating again," Lizzie said as she snapped me out of my own world.
I was a little confused and wasn't too sure what she meant. "So are you gonna tell me?" She asked again. "Sorry, what did you ask Liz. I was just in my own world. I look up to the appointment. It kinda scares me," I say. "That's okay, now why don't you eat?" She asked. She was a little angry and worried. I could hear that. "Stress, period, not hungry," I sum up.
"Babe you need to eat. You got really dizzy earlier in the room with doctor Robbins and now you're not eating. Again," Tim said. Also he sounded a little worried. "You aren't gonna do this again Y/N. We're gonna make sure we kick it's ass before it arrived okay?" Liz says as she gave me a big hug.
It was time for my appointment with dr. Turner, I wasn't ready yet actually. "Lizzie, I can't do this. I'm not ready yet I whisper. "Oh you are going in there. Even if I have to drag you in there. You're not bailing out on me," she said. She was sure that was what was gonna happen and I would lose the fight.
It took me a while to get into dr. Turner's office but I went in. "Hey Y/N. I'm glad to see you made it. So, do you want Elizabeth to stay or do you want her to leave. I think it's best if she leaves. But it's up to you," dr. Turner said to me. "No I need her here," I say as I grab Lizzie's hand.
At first we talked about a few nonsense things. Dr. Turner thought it was enough with the small talk and went on to the serious part. "So when you miscarried last time how did that make you feel?" She asked me. Liz knew it was gonna be hard so she put my head on her lap and started rubbing my head. "It was really confusing. I found out I was pregnant that morning and Robbie proposed to Liz and after that Tim proposed to me. I felt really bad and I knew what a miscarriage feels like. I wanted to take medicine and overdose immediately but I have a child. Actually I have two of them. I can't leave them on their own. I couldn't leave Tim on his own. And Lizzie was there to safe me. She stayed with me all night and helped me through my nightmares," I finish my story with a big sigh and wipe away my tears.
"That's a lot Y/N. It's good you resisted the feelings of taking the medicine and taking an overdose. Could you tell me how the sleeping pills I gave you work?" She asked. "They help really good. I did wake up last night but the kids weren't asleep and that just woke me up. We ended up sleeping in our bed with all four of us. I slept really good after that," I say as it made me smile.
"That's good to hear. I also believe I don't have to give you any anti-depressants. You are dealing with it on your own and with talking we can cover the other parts," I was really happy when she told me. I felt Lizzie relaxing more too. "Oh my god, you're pregnant, aren't you?" I shout as I sit up. "Oh crap," I say as I fall back too. "Y/N? Are you okay?" Dr. Turner asked me. "Uh yes. I'm fine. Just haven't eaten enough and I got my period," I say as I look back to Liz. She's really pale.
"Liz? Why didn't you tell me? What's wrong?" I ask her. "I am not happy with it Y/N. I am not so sure if I wanna be a mom. At least not if I want to be pregnant myself. I know that's all you want but I'm just not too sure about it," Liz said to me with tears in her eyes.
"Come here, it's okay. You can get an abortion Liz. If that's what you want I'll support you. I know I want a baby, but that doesn't mean you need to want one too. But maybe I should get something to eat or I will get really dizzy again and maybe even faint," I say sarcastically. "You think?" Liz said laughing.
