The three young boys have Luca and Zane pinned against the wall. The three young boys wearing there uniform wrong. The smell of cheap aftershave lingering in the air. Smirks across their faces.
The word fag slipping through one of their mouths.
Fay and Tyler arrived quickly. Anger present on their faces.
"What do you think you are doing?" Fay demands.
Their attention suddenly falls on her and Tyler.
"This your girlfriend Tyler? Does she stick up for your brothers now?" The taller of the three boys asks.
"She is our sister and is there a problem with her sticking up for them? Besides haven't I had to warn you before to leave them alone," Tyler says annoyed.
"They think it's okay just to budge by us. Besides I've heard Luca is a fag."
Tyler's fist is in his face in an instance.
Fay is budging by the other two to get to Zane and Luca to make sure they are okay.
"What is your problem? Does it matter if he likes boys or not? And what has it got to with you three anyway!" Fay shouts.
"That hurt," the boy who Tyler hit says.
"I've got more then that if you three don't fuck off! This is my last warning Kay!" Tyler says trying to hold in his anger.
"I don't think I like the way your speaking to me. Do you think you own the place? All because your dad is on the news. He is a fag just like his pathetic adopted son there. You can't expect anything less can you really."
"It's the twenty first century. You need to grow the fuck up. People like you are horrible, making people feel bad about there own sexuality," Fay says.
"Don't listen to this idiot, Luca. He doesn't know shit. He just prives on making others suffer," Tyler says.
"You say one more thing about Luca," Zane finally spoke up.
"Zane," Luca says looking worried.
"No...this is wrong. He is in the wrong!" Zane shouts.
"I know...but he isn't worth it. We shouldn't sync to their level," Luca says looking rather upset and uncomfortable.
"What's going on here then?" asks Tom who had just arrived near by with his younger brother Jeff.
"Oh don't you start," Tyler says. He has had enough already with out Tom getting involved.
"I'm not starting. Jeff actually told me that Luca is the best football Captain he has ever had and how much he looks up to him. Luca made him vice captain. So I'm actually wondering what is going on?"
"You okay Luca?" Jeff asks looking ready for a fight.
"These three are homophobic it seems. Have a problem with Luca," says Fay.
"Really? Wow you three actually think that's right?"
"Well...yes...no I," says Kay muddling over his words.
"Luca is awesome. His sexuality doesn't make him any less awesome then you or I. But I doubt you three even have one brain cell between you," says Jeff as he pushes through the boys to Luca. "You alright?"
"I'm fine. Thank you guys...for your support."
"Anything for you...Luca," he smiles sheepishly, a hidden feelings there that not everyone could spot.
Tyler saw it instantly though...Jeff likes Luca and probably more then just a friend. Luca is young, it does make him panic and worry all of a sudden but Luca is a smart kid so he knows he won't be an idiot and he will make the right decisions. Tyler hadn't told anyone about Luca and his sexuality but Tyler always had a feeling he didn't show much interest in girls like he did.
"Fuck off!" Tom shouts.
Instantly the three boys panicked and ran away quickly leaving them in an awkward silence.
"When did you stop being a dick then?" Oliver asks who had been watching the whole thing.
"I guess I deserve that. I am sorry...I hope you can forgive me. Tyler and Luca...I hope we can be friends," Tom says.
"Yeah...sure. Long as you don't ever threaten me or my family again," Tyler says.
"I won't I promise. We should all probably head inside or we will get in trouble for being late," Tom says.
"Yeah your probably right," Fay says.
"You going to be okay Luca?" Tyler asks.
"I'll be fine...I am Gay. I'm sorry I didn't shout that around or share it with you guys. I know we are family...I guess deep down I was scared a bit too cause I didn't want it to change our relationship, especially us Tyler," Luca says.
"Your my little brother. Adopted or not. You think I'm going to love you less because you like boys? Of course not. I would never ever feel any different about you okay."
"Jeff only told me about him being gay a little while ago. But I'm so proud of him and love him deeply. Who we love girl or boy it doesn't matter. People like them are idiots. But I have said to Jeff to take it slow they have years to explore everything and just focus on being kids. You agree right Tyler?"
"For sure," Tyler says as he goes over to Luca and gives him a hug.
"Come on we best get inside," Zane says.
Tyler ended up in the headmasters office first thing because Kay had decided to rat them out.
Tyler did his best to explain but the Headmaster didn't seem to care what he said. Tyler felt like he was judging him because he hadn't been doing well with his studies.
In the end Tyler insisted for him to ask his siblings, Tom and Jeff about the situation and what happened too. All he did was try to protect his brother...
Arrow got a phonecall from the school and asked Allac to finish the case they were on so he could go into the school.
Arrow entered the office looking at the Headmaster and having this horrible feeling in his gut.
"What seems to be the problem? From what you was telling me all Tyler did was protect Luca and everyone confirmed that right?"
"Yes but we don't tolerate violence."
"But you tolerate bullying?"
"No..."
"It just seems strange that my son is being treated unfairly here. Where is Kay? Why isn't anyone speaking to him?"
"Kay will be spoken too..."
"Is that it? From what I'm getting here is that Tyler is in trouble but Kay isn't. Do you allow homophobia in your school?"
"I don't think it got to that," the Headmaster begins.
"Kay called Luca a fag? What else was it? What is wrong with you? Luca is Captain of the football team. He is a great leader and so smart. He shouldn't have to put up with that. I'm sorry for hitting him I am but he was bullying my little brother. I was angry and upset and no teacher was going to help him was they!"
"It's okay Tyler. So what is this truely about? The way your just looking at me is putting me on edge," Arrow says.
"I honestly don't know what you are talking about Mr Sharp. Tyler will be suspended for a week and have detention for a month after that. He needs to improve on his studies too. He is falling way behind. Maybe he should focus more on that then punching someone."
Arrow glares at him. "Wow...you are actually being serious about this. Your taking him out of school how will that help his studies? He was protecting Luca. I honestly don't feel like my sons or my daughter are safe in your care right now."
"If that is the way you feel then you can always take them out of school Mr Sharp but rules are rules. No exceptions."
"And what about Kay's punishment?"
"He will have detention and be on report."
"Tyler we are leaving," Arrow says irritated.
