"You two are so dramatic" Jeno looked at Jaemin and Haechan who were practically sweating into their hiking clothes.
"Hmm maybe I'll just camp down here for a but until you guys get back" Renjun said, taking off his hoodie and sitting on the ground
"You do know that this was your idea right? You wanted to see the sunrise amongst the serenity of the mountains" Jeno said with a sigh, quoting him and he hummed in response
"Well...this grassy....tree crowded area...seems pretty serene" Renjun said sighing
"Yeah I'm with him on this one, this place looks like a good spot, beautiful really" haechan lied, doing and saying anything he could to get out of this hike
"I really..don't see it" Jeno said, trying to figure out what was so serene to them about sitting on a muddy area next to dog poop and poisonous mushrooms
"Well that's on you Jeno for not...being able to appreciate nature's true beauty" Haechan retorted making Jeno roll his eyes
"What about you Jaem?" Renjun asked
"I started it, now i gotta finish it, let's go Jeno!" He said excitedly
"You sure...cause if you give up halfway I'm just gonna have to leave you there" Jeno said and Jaemin smiled
"The exercise will be good for my heart" he said, patting Jeno on the shoulders and walking on head chanting

"Wow...that really is something" Jaemin said with a smile of serendipity on his face as he looked at the sun rising, sitting with their feet hanging off the cliff. Jeno had decided this was the perfect moment he had to talk to Jeno about his casual relationship with Yeseul, he didn't want any drama and it was best Jaemin found out from him than anyone else *cough* haechan *cough*
"Hey..."
"Hi" Jaemin said with a chuckle, turning to Jeno
"I don't know if telling you this....at a cliff is a good idea" Jeno muttered to himself
"What's up?" He asked
"I'm just gonna say it...Me and Yeseul are....seeing each other" He said, watching Jaemin's smile fall as soon as the sentence registered in his head
"Wha- since...when?" Jaemin asked
"Like...two days ago? We met at a club and...we kinda hit it off i guess. It's nothing serious...at the moment...but i ju- we just...thought you should know" Jeno said carefully, trying to choose the right words. He valued his friendship with Jaemin a lot, he didn't want a girl that he met two days ago to get in the way of that.
"Thanks for telling me, I really appreciate it" Jaemin said with a sigh
"I'm sorry...if you want me to stop seeing he-"
"It's not that big of a deal...we were never together anyway, bro code is pretty immature...I'm happy for you both I-I really am...how's she doing?" He asked, looking out into the sun that was now half risen
"She's good...great actually. She quit her job at the club and she's a backup dancer for SM" Jeno said and Jaemin widened his eyes, a small laugh coming out
"I'm glad she's doing well" Jaemin said
"If you ever wanna....meet or talk for closu-"
"I just...think it's too early for that. I did something...terrible and...things are going good for her right now, I don't wanna ruin that for her" Jaemin said and Jeno nodded
"I'm really glad i got that off my chest" Jeno said with a sigh
"Don't worry about it, anyway...my grandad has lovingly set up a few blind dates for me...starting from tomorrow" Jaemin sighed
"You gonna scare them off?"
"Of course"
"Listen...if my grandad and I die, I want you to take over the business" Jaemin said, patting his shoulder
"First of all, don't be so negative, secondly...if i become boss, do I have your permission to fire Haechan?"

"How was the hike?" Renjun asked
"Probably much better than the view you guys go here" Jeno said, rolling his eyes at Haechan who was mimicking him. Jeno immediately turned around to Jaemin and shot him a 'see what i mean?' look.
"Permission granted" Jaemin said with a nod
"Be careful, watch your back bud" Jeno said to Haechan, narrowing his eyes at him
"Yah..don't be like that...I'm getting goosebumps"

"Jesus Christ" Yeseul sighed as she tried to learn off the dance the dance instructor had sent them the tutorial video for.
"You good?" Jisung asked, coming into the kitchen to grab a midnight snack before returning back to his gaming match
"Yeah...just tryna get this dance move right" she sighed
"I would offer to help but I've been getting slaughtered on this match and if i don't go ba-"
"I don't care" Yeseul said with a sigh as she grabbed a bottle of pocari sweat from the fridge
After a few more tries of repeating the same dance move which she wasn't getting right, she was interrupted by the sound of someone entering her apartment. Think it was just Jeyi or Jungwoo who came in to, yet again, steal another bag of sweets, she didn't look at who it was.
She continued to redo the dance move again and again, at one point tripping on her own two feet. Thinking she was going to hit straight onto the floor, she braced herself for the impact, yet she was met with the strong arms of a boy who was holding her up
"Woah, careful there" Jeno said as he caught her, thinking how proud mark would be of his spidey senses
"Thanks" she breathed out as Jeno lifted her back onto her feet again.
"Why don't you take a break for a bit" he said
"I really have to get this thing done before practice tomorrow" she sighed, placing hands on her hips
"Come on, just five minutes of your time, is that too much to ask for?" Jeno pouted and she couldn't find a way to not give in to him
"Fine, only five though" she said, sitting on the couch beside where he practically forced her to hug him like a koala would to a tree.
"How was the hike?" She asked, catching her breath as she laid on his chest, and to be frank, she suddenly found it weird to be listening to a heart rate that was normal but she shook that thought away.
"It was really good, Haechan was being annoying as usual, Renjun made us some hotpot at his place for lunch and I told Jaemin about us finally" Jeno said and she looked up at him
"Oh...that's good...how did he take it?" She asked
"Fine...he said he's happy for us, very happy for you especially" Jeno said with a smile and Yeseul sighed
"You told him about the backup dancer thing didn't you?" She asked with a sheepish smile
"If i could tell the whole world through a megaphone about it I would...in-fact thats why, i talked to my dad...and did something" Jeno teased and she widened her eyes
"What did you do?" She asked cautiously
"They're going to post the new dance team on their main account" Jeno said with a bright smile
"No you didn't..."
"You are gonna get so much more recognition now, globally too" Jeno said and she gasped
"I...I don't know what to say...thank you" she said grasping his Tshirt in her small fists as she pressed her lips onto his and he smiled into the kiss
"Now, let's go back to practice, need help with it?" He asked
They spent the night practicing the dance as he helped her fix any of her mistakes or help her grasp the certain movement of a technique. The night ended with them laying on the couch with Yeseul on top of Jeno.
