Evelyn had her arms wrapped around Scott's waist as his motorcycle pulled up to Eichen House and in front of the two Stilinski's, "Why didn't you tell us?"

Stilinski sighed as he responded,"Because we wanted to avoid something like this."

"It's only 72 hours." Stiles tried to reassure and reason with his friends.

Scott was quick to argue back, "This is the same place where Barrow came from. The guy who had a tumor inside him filled with flies." He turned to Stilinski, "You don't know everything yet."

"I know enough." Stilinski countered his argument, "Nogitsunes, Kitsunes, Oni, or whatever they're called."

"I call them shadow Ninjas but Oni works." Evelyn commented, but was ignored.

"Guys, I saw an MRI that looked exactly like my wife's." Stilinski told them as the three teens looked down, "And it terrifies me. I'm headed down to L.A. tomorrow to talk to a specialist."

"Then why are you putting him in here?" Scott asked the man.

"He's not." Stiles shook his head in response, "It was my decision."

Scott knew he wasn't gonna win this argument but he wasn't ready to give up, "Stiles, I can't help you if you're in here."

"And I can't hurt you." Stiles looked over at the brunette girl who kept her eyes on the ground, his eyes softening, "Either of you."

Evelyn sighed at the boys words and shook her head, "Stiles, that wasn't you that did that to me, I know that and so does he."

Scott nodding in agreement with her words, "Deaton's got some ideas. Argent's calling people. We're gonna find something. And if we can't..."

"If you can't...if you can't then you have to do something for me, okay?" Stiles said, leaning closer to his friend, "Make sure I never get out."

༄༄༄

"Did you have any trouble with Ikeda?" Argent asked Deaton over the phone as Evelyn, Scott, and Allison listened.

"Only minor." Deaton responded, his phone on speaker for everyone to hear, "The white wolf was exactly where you said it would be. But we have two problems now. First, the lichen is not a cure. It'll wear off in a matter of days."

"But while it does work, the Oni won't go after Stiles, right?" Argent asked for some sort of confirmation.

"I hope. Eichen House has an unusual history." Deaton answered, "It might not be all that safe for the oni there as well."

"What's the second problem?" Argent asked with a sigh.

"I checked with your contacts in Japan." Deaton informed, "The yakuza boss you saw killed by the oni never found the scroll."

"What scroll?" Scott asked, the three teens attention now caught.

"A Shugendo Scroll." Deaton responded, "The Shugendo were the ascetic mystics of Japan."

"The scroll had information on how to exorcize a nogitsune." Argent added.

"Then we need to find the scroll." Evelyn said with determination, Scott and Allison nodding beside her.

"Exactly. And I did get the name of a man who last purchased it. Kincaid." Deaton told them, Allison's eyes going wide with recognition, "He was with Katashi. He's the guy who met with Issac to buy the gun."

"Sounds like Katashi wanted the scroll for himself." Deaton commented.

"But Stilinski already told me nothing like it was found among his things." Argent argued, "And a paranoid like Katashi would keep it close. Probably on him at all times."

"What does the Shugendo Scroll look like?" Allison questioned, Deaton exiting his seat and opening up a drawer, taking out his own scroll, "Something like this."

Allison took the scroll, almost as if she knew exactly what she was looking at, "Do these come in different sizes?"

"Any size." Deaton replied, Allison nodding along, "Then I think I know where it might be."

༄༄༄

"This is a really bad plan." Scott said bluntly, the group standing in Argents office.

"It's not that bad." Lydia disagreed in offense. "It's not that good." Ethan countered.

Lydia sighed before explaining, "None of us knows the route they're going to take. If Allison can get one of her dad's GPS trackers on the armored car, then we can follow it. So, when it gets here-."

"We attack em?" Aiden interjected.

"No." Lydia said, "Your bikes will be in the middle of the road, looking like you guys got into an accident. And, when the driver gets out to help-."

"We attack em!" Aiden interjected again.

"No!" Lydia and Allison said simultaneously. "You'll distract him, and Scott will break open the back door."

"I hope." Scott muttered, mainly to himself.

"And you'll get Katashi's finger." Lydia finished.

"It's not his actual finger, is it?" Ethan asked them. Evelyn scoffed with a roll of her eyes, "You are so out of our league."

"Why aren't we just going to Stilinski for help?" Ethan asked. "Because, if he gets caught, then it's the Sheriff tampering with federal evidence." Scott told him.

"Guys, this is going to work." Allison said, obviously trying to convince herself more than them, "We can do this. We're losing Stiles...my dad's in jail for murder...we need to do this."

༄༄༄

Seeing the cost was clear, Allison turned to Kira, "You're up."

Kira nodded before running over to the armored truck to place the tracking device on it, after completing her task, she heard a door from nearby which forced her to quickly hide, hoping that she wouldn't be spotted.

Seeing it was Deputy Parrish with his gun in hand, Evelyn spoke nervously, "Guys, we gotta do something."

The doors to the van burst open to reveal a man who didn't hesitate to grab Parrish and slam his head against the van, knocking him unconscious and to the ground.

"Who the hell is that?" Scott asked in shock. "Kincaid." Allison responded.

The three walked up to the van themselves, watching Kincaid admire the finger until Scott spoke up, "We need that finger."

"Why should I give it to you?" Kincaid asked, raising a brow.

"There's a briefcase in there with one hundred and fifty thousand in it." Allison offered up, her crossbow pointed directly at the man.

"The scroll inside this prosthetic finger is worth three million." Kincaid argued, obviously not impressed.

"Give me the finger." Scott demanded, all the previous tension around him resolving as he registered what he said, "...You know what I mean."

Using the distraction, Kira jumped off the truck and onto Kincaid's back. The sudden attack did nothing to faze the man as he simply grabbed the girls arm and threw her off of him, baring his fangs and flashing his eyes, "I guess negotiations are over."

Allison shot an arrow at the man that lodged in his arm, but he simply pulled it out with ease. Kira swung at the man only to have his hand wrap around her throat before she was thrown to the ground.

Kincaid sent Allison flying in the wall which finally sent Scott into action, he released a growl before swiping his claws at the man, managing to get several hits in before Kincaid grabbed him and slammed him into the ground, mocking him, "You have the eyes of an Alpha, but where's the strength?"

"Up here." Ethan said, he and Aiden standing on a railing on a top floor which they jumped off of. Evelyn finally decided to join in on the fight and assisted the twins in taking Kincaid down while also beating the crap out of him.

"Guys, stop!" Scott demanded, the three following his direction and backing away from the guy on the ground.

"You want him to come after us?" Aiden asked, incredulously, his brother nodding along with him, "Scott, we've seen guys like this. Trust us, he's dangerous."

"So are we." Scott said, glancing down at the beaten up man, "And he looks smart enough to remember that." He took the prosthetic finger from Kincaid, "We're here to save a life, not end one."
