ASTROPHEL ARRIVED at the chateau to find Ophelia eating chocolate.
"You have more chocolate in your system than blood at this point." Louis said.
"Louis, you have no room to talk. You carry chocolate on you for her. Pretty sure you have some right now." Hermione told him.
Louis just laughed as he took out a chocolate bar and handed it to Ophelia who gladly accepted it, and began to eat it.
Not before she halved it, giving the other part to Ron who smiled.
"You are encouraging cavities!" Hermione said.
"So? If I get cavities. I'll just visit Dr. Granger since your parents are dentists." Ophelia shrugged.
Hermione sighed giving up arguing with Ophelia.
"Really, Moonflower?" Astro raised a brow
at Ophelia.
Before Ophelia could do or say anything Astro flicked his wrist and vanishing all the chocolate.
"No! Not the chocolate!" Remus exclaimed.
Ophelia looked at her brother with betrayal.
"How could you?!" Ophelia whined over dramatically.
"Moonflower, you are going to get cavities." Astrophel told her.
"See! He agrees!" Hermione said, but went ignored by Ophelia whom just finished her chocolate.
Their unforgiving and eyes clashing with each other.
It was time he told her about her memories that were sealed off. After countless sleepless days, he managed to find a way to unseal them.
Ophelia stiffened ever to slightly.
"Moonflower, let's go to my study. It's important." He said, Ophelia nodded seeing his expression.
The screen shifted.
Astrophel and Ophelia were in his study, that was brightly filled with sunlight from the windows, both of them sitting down together on a velvet sofa.
"Don't get mad but I used legilimency on you during summer." Astrophel said, making her eyes widen.
"I found something." Which caught her attention even more.
"You have memories that have been sealed off for years. The magical signature of the caster to me is unknown, yet at the same time it is oddly familiar."
The twins shared a look.
Under the table they held each other's hand.
Ophelia blinked trying to process what Astrophel just said.
"Can you unseal them?" She asked him.
"Yes, I spent a long time looking for a way to unseal them. Would you like me to?" Ophelia nodded.
Astrophel got up, then looked at her.
"You may want to lay down." He suggested and she did, as Astrophel knelt down at her side, a hand placed gently on her head, as she closed her eyes.
"Aperis Reviulus Virtori."
"Aperis Reviulus Virtori."
"Aperis Reviulus Virtori."
He repeated thrice.
The screen shifted.
Ophelia began to fidget with the ring Astrophel
had given her.
It doesn't take long for Petunia, the woman with greed in her eyes and disdain in the curve of her mouth, to call on priests and exorcists and demon tamers and whatever else Father Brightly can recommend to her to get rid of Ophelia's "freakishness" as she'd put it.
Lily's eyes darkened.
Merlin, she wanted to strangle her sister.
As does James, very badly.
Many glared and sneered at Petunia.
"Anyone care to join me in murder? I do need an alibi." Lily said with a smile.
"Don't worry mom. Astrophel had handled it." Ophelia spoken.
Lily, James, and Anastasia, all smiled at that.
"Such a great son." James said.
They all arrive, one after the other, one with more expensive clothing than the last, everyone of them armed with wild devotion in their faith and power.
Many sneered at this.
Some couldn't help but imagine them as Dumbledore, or Voldemort and his Death Eaters.
Every Sunday, forced into the abandoned Church deep in the forest, being forced to pray and kneel in supplication to a God that has forsaken her.
"Please, Lord, please forgive me my existence for I was born in sin. Do deliver me from my life so that my sinful existence may not harm others. Destroy the demons inside of me who strive to harm others. I am sorry for being born."
"They made you apologize for being born?!"
Lily exclaimed.
Ophelia nodded in return.
She hated the looks of pity she is being given.
They force her to swallow Holy Water mixed with Blessed Salt, glass after glass until she chokes and vomits the liquid.
They had call her a devil and order her
to confess.
They read long passages from the Bible and whatever scripts they believe in– one even quotes Dante.
They strip her of her clothes, leave her naked in the cold and demand that she repent.
They whip her back and bind her hands and push her face under water.
They laugh when she cries.
They snicker when she begs.
They rejoice when she falls unconscious.
Countless looked sick.
Pureblood's hatred for muggles increasing.
Lily and James, very close to murder.
Ophelia avoid everyone's gaze, as Louis held onto her tightly; shielding her away from their looks.
Ophiuchus eyes were narrowed.
She seemed sickly pale and malnourished, despite being seven could have been mistaken for a five year old or younger.
She lays tired on the Church's floor by the front of the alter, tired, beaten, bruised, her hair still damped from the holy water; Dudley's hand-me-down shirt she wears has blood seeping through from her back.
Ophelia looked away from the screen.
She hated how powerless she was.
The room was dark.
Only light coming from the broken windows and ceiling from above.
The only sound came from the crows outside watching her, debating if they should claw at her, as she cried silently trying to not get their attention.
Ophiuchus frowns at the mention of crows, considering they are the Lestrange's symbol, and his namesake as Corvus.
"Hello? Is anyone inside."
Ophiuchus inhaled sharply.
He knew that voice, as did the twins.
His attention shifts from Ophelia to the screen.
Ophelia heard a voice call out.
Light filled the Church, as the once locked doors were opened.
Ophelia blinked to see a small figure entering.
"Anyone—!" They stopped what they were going to say when they saw her.
The figure immediately approached Ophelia, and as they move closer Ophelia began to see more of their features.
It was a child, a girl maybe around her age.
They were adorned in a knee length flowing white dress, with a beige woven bag to her side.
Along various flower caught in soft long curly brown hair that framed her pretty face that had soft features, and light freckles all around. With a glacier gaze of striking pale blue eyes.
"How...?" Ophiuchus whispered, his eyes widen.
"Wait isn't that—?" Many recalled the familiar girl from earlier.
The twin's hands tighten.
Yet Ophelia could only smile.
"A—Angel...?" Ophelia whispered.
Ophelia watched as the "Angel" knelt down besides her. Before Ophelia could realize what is happening, the "Angel" had picked her up.
"Hey!" Ophelia explained hoarsely. "L-Let go off me! Your going to get dirty!"
"So?" The "Angel" questioned. "It doesn't matter as long as I can get you out of here." She said.
Ophiuchus felt a sharp pain in his chest.
The "Angel" strength surprised Ophelia as she carried her without a problem and out of the church.
The "Angel" had brought Ophelia a good distance away from the abandoned Church, and gently placed her under a tree.
Ophelia looked at the "Angel" who's white dress was damped and stained with her blood.
"Y—Your dress!" Ophelia exclaimed.
"Angel" had looked down.
"What about it?" She asked.
"It's filthy now because of me." Ophelia told her feeling guiltily.
"So? As I said it didn't matter, as long as I got you out of there." They said.
'Selfless as ever.' The twins thought.
She watched as the "Angel" dug through her bag, and took out what seems to be a chocolate bar.
Ophelia laughed ever so lightly.
That was the start of her love for chocolate.
Ophiuchus body had stiffen ever so slightly.
The twins hold on each other tightening.
"Here. Chocolate always makes me feel better. I hope it will with you." The "Angel" smiled brightly to her.
Ophelia blinked.
She wasn't allowed chocolate, as chocolate was only for Dudley, and not for freaks.
Marlene, Dorcas, and Alice, and the Marauders, all had to hold down Lily and James respectively from committing murder.
"Me? Why are you giving a Freak like me chocolate?" Ophelia questioned.
"Angel" raised a brow.
"Freak? What makes you say that?"
"Because, that is what everyone thinks and says about me. Aunt Petunia hoped they could exorcise it out of me." Ophelia answered.
"Not everyone." The "Angel" said.
"I don't think your a Freak. Even if you were a Freak. Which you are not. I'd still give you chocolate." The "Angel" smiled at her again.
Ophelia felt her eyes tear up.
"Angel" presence and alone felt comforting, and her smile was so bright, her eyes despite it's color was filled with warmth, with such sincerity in her words.
"She is such an angel." Someone commented.
"You don't know the half of it." Ophelia said.
Ophiuchus smiled ever so slightly.
Ophelia couldn't help but lower her guard and take the chocolate.
Unwrapping it and taking a bite.
It tasted amazing.
Ophelia quickly devoured it, which made "Angel" laugh sweetly.
"I see you like it." She then rummaged through her bag, taking out a glass bottle.
The liquid was a pretty pink color, that had an odd shine to it.
"Does she just carries potions on her? The chocolate I understand, but potions?"
"She was quite clumsy. Always getting hurt, or ready to give it to someone else in need." Ophelia said.
"Drink it. It will help with your wounds and pain." The "Angel" said.
Ophelia nodded trusting the "Angel" words and took the drink, and had proceeded to drink it.
Once Ophelia finished the drink, she didn't feel pain anymore, the all the marks, bruise, and pain in her body disappeared.
Almost like magic.
Ophelia laughed a bit, now knowing.
"Are you an angel?" Ophelia asked.
"I still believe she is an angel without wings in a mortal from. She has a heart of gold, she sees the best in everything and everyone." Ophelia said.
Ophiuchus and the twins agreed silently.
"Angel" just laughed again.
"I don't think so." She smiled.
"I'm Leucandil, and I'm a witch."
"Hold on." Regulus spoke up.
"What even is her name? First when we get introduced it's, Calytrix Caterina Caelum. Then Grindelwald says it's, Amastacia. Now she introduced herself as, Leucandil." He pointed out.
"Amastacia Leucandil Grindelwald is her birth name, Leucandil being her middle name. While Calytrix Caterina Caelum is her chosen name." Ophiuchus is the one that answers.
Ophelia states at him.
"You know her?" She demanded.
Ophiuchus looks her in the eyes.
"Much longer than you." He said.
"She had saved me. Seems saved you too."
