OLIVER'S P.O.V
Huminga ako nang malalim habang pinagmamasdan ang paglubog ng araw sa dalampasigan.
Hawak-hawak ko ang isang papel.
"Dad?" Tawag ng anak ko sa'kin at lumapit.
"Parang ang lalim yata ng iniisip mo?" Pagtataka niya. "At saka a-ano po ba 'yang hawak mo?"
Natawa ako nang mahina.
"It's a letter," tugon ko sabay tingin sa papel na aking hawak.
"Ahhh..."
Hindi ako makatingin sa kanya nang diretso.
"This letter was found by your grandfather in his old mansion, in a secret room," saad ko.
"Secret room?" Pagtataka n'ya.
"Lumaki na ako, Dad. Pero wala akong alam sa secret room na 'yan." Sabay halakhak n'ya.
"You know that I'm adopted, anak. Kaya ang tinutukoy ko ay ang totoo kong ama which is 'yung isa mo pang lolo, 'di ba?"
Huminga ako nang malalim.
"May kapatid ako sa kanya and his name is Nathan at siya ang nagsulat nito."
"A-ano bang sabi sa letter?"
Pinilit kong ngumiti. "It's full of hatred, guilt, and truth, anak."
"Oliver! Anak! Halika na't kumain na tayo," malakas na boses ng babae na aming narinig.
"Ito na," sagot ko kay Audrey.
Siya ang nakatuluyan ko sa huli.
Nakasaad sa letter na alam na ni Nathan ang mangyayari kay Harl. Ngunit hindi niya ito sinabi sa kanya para oras na mawala si Harl ay magsasama sila sa kabilang buhay.

I looked up and saw a brighter sky.
Dito sa lugar na ito nangyari ang lahat. Saya, kilig, sakit, at trahedya. Pero rito rin magsisimula ang panibagong kabanata.
