"Oh my god!" Irena cried out
"What do you mean by a heart attack?!" Manuel said
"Farrell Gravano, unfortunately, suffered from a heart attack. We found damage in his heart muscle." The doctor said
"What?! All that I have to say to you is he better be alive! My father better be alive! I can't handle losing anyone else!" Rome yelled out
"I understand your frustrations but please allow me to finish. Farrell Gravano is a very strong man–he's alive and well. What he needs is some rest. It was only a mini heart attack and there wasn't major damage done to his heart. He needs lots of rest and keep him away from anything that'll stress him out" The doctor said
"Thank you! Thank you! Please can I see him?! Can I see my husband?" Irena asked with tears falling down her face
"Yes, right this way he's in this room," The doctor said
The three followed the doctor and entered the room which Farrell was staying in. There was an oxygen mask covering his nose and mouth, a clear IV line in his wrist. Farrell was asleep but alive. Rome was still anxious; he watched his father's chest rise and fall like the waves at the sea. Farrell was alive but seeing his father in this condition ticked him off like a bomb timer; he was ready to explode and cause chaos.
"I'll keep him away from anything stressful— I'll make sure," Rome said
He walked out of the room not saying another word. Rome hated hospitals just like most people. He couldn't stand the smell, the stress, and seeing the bodies of the sick or injured. Although he was a killing machine he still had a heart.
The most important rule of the mafia is family first and once the family is betrayed hell must be risen. Rome got into his car and drove onto the streets of Paris. He drove so fast that his engine played a tune and it wasn't a tune one would enjoy hearing.
Rome finally got to his destination within fifteen minutes, he was back at Axel's mansion in Paris. Rome parked his car carelessly before stepping out of his luxury and closing it with a loud slam.
He didn't knock, rather he barged into the mansion, startling the team inside.
"How is he?" Axel asked sounding worried
"How is he?! HUH! HOW IS HE?!" Rome yelled angrily
"Oh f*ck hell's about to burn the city down" Phoenix whispered
"He had A HEART ATTACK AXEL!" Rome yelled
"What?! Is he alive?!" Axel asked
Rome punched Axel, The whole room was still and quiet.
Axel returned the punch to Rome and they both started to fight and tussle in the living room.
"Stop!" Lilith screamed
Cedric, Liam, and Phoenix ran to the commotion separating both angry men.
"He's alive!" Rome yelled
"So why the f*ck did you punch me!?' Axel spat
"You killed my sister! You almost killed my father Axel! I'll hate you for that! This is war Santiago! This is War!" Rome yelled
"I didn't kill any of them!" Axel screamed
Rome huffed and puffed loudly in anger.
"I forbid you from marrying my sister Annika! You want war! Then you'll get war!" Axel screamed
"You can't forbid me from marrying anyone!" Rome screamed
Axel chuckled
"You know the rules Rome. You can't marry your family's enemies." Axel winked
"Then you can't marry Alora" Rome screamed
"I can't marry Alora because you're f*cked up girlfriend decided to take my daughter away back to New York! Forcing me to leave Alora behind! I blame myself for it every day! Every day! F*ck all of you!" Axel screamed
He managed to free himself from Cedric's grip and stormed out of the house. Axel got into his car and drove away tearing up and crying to himself.
"Every day!' Axel screamed as he headed closer and closer to the beach
He was at his breaking point. Axel was lost and was tired of being reminded constantly of Alora's disappearance. It reminded him of losing Lizzie and having to raise Devine on his own. It was too much to handle-being a single father, having to protect your child while being the leader of the mafia. There were enemies everywhere and only one child to bear.
How did they expect him to protect Alora, the unborn child, Devine plus the mafia? He failed once and he failed again.
Axel parked near the beach and got out of the car. He walked by the water. Axel looked out into the ocean watching the waves. He screamed and screamed out again.
"ALORA! I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE! I'M TRYING SO HARD!" Axel repeated it over and over again nearly losing his voice
Axel fell to his knees feeling the cold salty water drench him. He exhaled before crying.
"I don't how much longer I can pull this nonchalant act. I miss who we were before this all happened" Axel whispered to himself
"I assumed that I would find you here," Cedric said
Axel continued to start out at the water. Cedric kneeled beside Axel and put his hand in the water. It was cold but Cedric didn't seem to mind.
"You miss her don't you," Cedric said
Axel didn't say a word
"You don't have to pretend to be strong Axel. You're allowed to feel emotions–you're human before you're a mafia leader." Cedric said
"Should I step down?" Axel said
"No you don't have to," Cedric said
"How will I protect Devine when I couldn't protect Alora?" Axel said
"You can protect both Axel. Re-adjust your life, Re-adjust your priorities" Cedric said
"Where do you think Alora is?' Axel asked
"Out there somewhere but I don't know. The ocean is a big place."
"The ocean is too cold and she's pregnant," Axel said
"I know...I'm scared...I don't want to believe she's in there" Cedric said
"Neither do I"
