It was morning in Juuban. Rei, Ami, Makoto, Minako, Artemis, and Luna were all at the Hikawa Shrine, waiting for a particular trio to show up. Soon enough, Usagi and Harusuke came into view from the steps.

"Late again, as usual," Rei complained. "Come on, Usagi. Are you ever going to be on time for anything?"

"I'm sorry!" Usagi panted.

"At least, we're here," said Harusuke. "Anyway, now that everyone's present, what's up?"

"Artemis and I wanted to talk to you about those two Sailor Guardians that have been showing up as of late," said Luna. "As you're all well aware, and based on from what Usagi and Minako told us, they've been showing up whenever a Daimon is trying to steal a Pure Heart."

"Not only that, but they seem to be looking for something that's inside the Pure Heart Crystals," said Artemis.

"Do either of you know what that could be?" asked Makoto.

Both Artemis and Luna shook their heads.

"I'm still wondering what their objective is and why they're after the Pure Heart crystals, too," said Minako. "Could they be our enemies like the Daimons?"

"It's too soon to jump to that conclusion," Ami warned. "After all, we've only just seen them from a distance."

"But if they are Sailor Guardians, how come they always leave afterward?" Usagi wondered. "I mean, they're Guardians like us, so wouldn't it make sense for them to team up with us?"

"That is a good question," said Harusuke. "But, whether they're enemies or allies, I get the feeling we haven't heard the last of them or the Daimons. We all need to be on top of our game if we're going to face these obstacles."

"Until then, you all need to be careful," said Artemis. "Things are going to get more difficult from here on, but we're sure that you can overcome this and get stronger."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Tomoe was busily at work in the lab, making Daimon Eggs as usual, while Kaiolinite observed a projection via her wand. In that projection, she could see the previous Daimons fighting Sailor Moon and the other Guardians, including Uranus and Neptune.

"It would seem that the past Daimons were complete failures," Kaolinite said. "And they not only were unable to find any talismans inside the Pure Hearts we've targeted but they also were destroyed."

"Forgive me, Kaolinite," apologized Tomoe. "I know that my Daimon Eggs have failed you, but I'm working to make them stronger than ever."

"You can't change what has already happened, Tomoe," Kaolinite said. "At the very least, thanks to your Daimons, we were able to identify the anomalies the Master mentioned. The ones protected by Guardian Planets."

Kaolinite made eight cards martialize from the air with a tap of her wand. Each one of those cards had a picture of Sailor Moon and the other Guardians, of which she looked with a scornful smirk.

"How pathetic. Those fools are nothing more but little children who think that they can protect this world," Kaolinite scoffed as she sliced through all the cards, making them disappear into vapor. "If they think they can stop us from accomplishing our goal, they are sadly mistaken. I shall remove these anomalies myself and seek out a Pure Heart as well."

Kaolinite then waved her wand, and a Daimon Egg came hovering over to her. "Tomoe, I want you to continue working while I go do a little experiment of my own. Is that understood?"

"Yes, Kaolinite," acknowledged Tomoe. "I pray for your success."

Kaolinite then disappeared from the lab, setting out to fulfill her mission.

The next day, Usagi and the other girls were having ice cream at the cafe. As they enjoyed themselves, they talked about the news over at their schools and about exams. However, Usagi and Minako were less than enthusiastic.

"What's the matter with you two?" asked Harusuke.

"Come on, Harusuke. Isn't it obvious?" Usagi sighed. "Despite us being on our day off, I still can't help but think about it being our last year of middle school."

"I know. It's awful," agreed Minako miserably. "Not to mention, we have high school entrance exams soon, along with balancing out saving the world."

"Hey, now you bunch of Gloomy Guses! Turn those frowns upside down, and forget about it!" Makoto spoke cheerily. "You can be depressed later!"

Everyone glanced over at Makoto in surprise, seemingly jubilant as she flipped through her planner.

"You seem to be in a good mood, Mako," said Ami. "Is there something special going on?"

"You bet there is!" Makoto grinned. "Today is April 17th, which happens to be Rei's birthday!"

"Oh, yeah? I didn't know that," said Harusuke. "That's great. I take it you've got something planned for her?"

"You bet it, I do!" Makoto smiled. "I say we plan a big birthday party for her to celebrate and to get our mind off of things!"

"Um, Mako, that's great you want to plan a party for Rei and all, but I think you've forgotten something," Ami said. "Rei's not here."

Then Makoto looked around, and sure enough, Rei wasn't with them, which surprised her.

"Wait a minute. Where is Rei?" wondered Makoto. "I thought that she was going to meet up with us here."

"She left early yesterday to go the mountains," Minako mumbled. "Something about special training."

"The mountains?!" Makoto exclaimed in a shrill voice. "Why the heck would she want to go over there on her birthday?!"

"She said she wanted to spend her fifteenth birthday purifying herself," Minako replied.

Now Makoto was feeling miserable. "But I was going to bake a cake for her!" she wailed.

"You still can, Mako," Harusuke soothed. "You'll just have to wait until Rei comes back from her training. I mean, if that's how she wants to spend it, then who are we to stop her?"

"Yeah, but that's still a crummy way to spend her birthday!" Makoto complained. "And if I baked a cake on the day after, it wouldn't feel special!"

"Wow. Mako's sure is taking this seriously," whispered Usagi to the other girls. "I don't think I've seen her like this before."

"Maybe it's because she wants to bake a cake for a specific reason," suggested Ami. "Her cakes are delicious."

▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃

Meanwhile, Rei was standing underneath the waterfall wearing nothing but a white robe and immersed in deep meditation somewhere in the mountains. As she meditated, trying to clear her mind, she couldn't help but start thinking about the dream she had the other day. She could remember the destruction, the horror, and, most of all, the voice she heard.

"Awaken! The time has come. For the light guided by the three talismans! Now, let the destruction begin!"

"What does "destruction" mean?" Rei thought to herself. "And these talismans. Could they be a clue to how we can defeat our enemies? And what about Sailor Uranus and Neptune? Could the light they're searching for also be the talismans?"

Rei then opened her eyes, coming out of her meditation, and stepped away from the waterfall. Then, she heard a familiar voice.

"Rei! How you doing?!"

Rei looked up, and to her surprise, she saw Mako waving at her from the other side of the shallow pool with Usagi and the others toiling behind her, panting and exhausted.

"M-Mako? Couldn't you have picked a shorter route for us to take?!" Usagi gasped. "And on that note, Rei, couldn't you have picked a shorter mountain to train on?"

"If she did, then it wouldn't be called training," Harusuke panted.

"M-Mako?! Everyone?!" Rei exclaimed. "What are all of you doing here?!"

▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃

Usagi and her group soon had a big party for Rei in a room at a complex where she was staying.

"Happy Birthday, Rei!" everyone cheered.

Rei blushed sheepishly. "Thanks, you guys," she said. "But you didn't have to do this for me."

"Come on, Rei. There's no need to be so modest," grinned Makoto. "Your birthday should be celebrated and be special. And speaking of special..." Mako took out a large box, taking out a massive cake. It had strawberries, a marshmallow bunny, and a chocolate sign with 'Happy Birthday Rei.' "Ta-da! Despite the limited time, I made a cake just for you!" she said proudly. "No need to thank me for carrying it up the mountain for the party."

"Seriously, how in the heck did you manage to carry that and not be winded?" Harusuke asked.

Minako whipped out a bouquet of beautiful flowers. "I brought you Casa Blanca Lillies," she winked. "I remembered that they're your favorite kind of flower, so I hope you like them."

Usagi then held up two white teacups and had red roses on a tray. "And I got you this tea set," she said proudly. "You can use it for yourself and your Grandpa."

Ami, on the other hand, held up a small blue book. "Now that you're older, you don't want your brain to get lazy," she said. "So, I got you my highly recommended workbook. With this, you'll be able to pass the exam, no problem, so make sure you study well."

Everyone glanced over at Ami like she had brought something alien. Usagi and Minako cringed at the sight of the book.

"Ami, please don't mention studying right now!" Usagi wailed miserably.

"I don't even want to think about that right now!" Minako sobbed comically. "We're supposed to be on relaxing with what little time we have left!"

"Well, that's Ami for you," Harusuke chuckled wryly. "Always diligent when it comes to our studying habits, no matter where she is." He looked back at Rei. "Anyway, I got you something too, Rei. It's nothing special, but I hope you like it." He then handed Rei a small bracelet with a red gemstone. "It's a bit cheap, but I got a good deal from Naru's mom."

Rei felt happy. "Aw. Thanks, you guys," she said. "Truth be told, I didn't expect much for my birthday, but I'm glad you all came to see me. You guys are great."

The friends then had fun eating snacks and playing games. Harusuke then walked over to the screen door and slid it open to let in some fresh air. As he did, he caught a glimpse of the scenery outside. The area had lots of trees with a couple of buildings here and there. There was also a tall complex next to where they were staying.

"Man, this place isn't half bad, Rei," said Harusuke. "I can see why you would come here to train."

"I know, right?" smiled Rei as she came over. "Grandpa was the one who recommended this place. It's perfect for those who want to train or clear their heads."

"You know, maybe we could do a little bit of training ourselves," suggested Harusuke. "We could make it an outing for us Guardians. A training camp, so to speak."

"That's a great idea!" Rei said. "I'll suggest it to Luna and Artemis when we get back home. I'm sure Usagi and the others will like it too."

Then, a loud yell came from outside the room, making everyone jump.

"What was that?" wondered Usagi.

"Sounds like it came from the gymnasium," said Rei. "I think that there are some students having judo practice in there."

And so, feeling their curiosity pique their interest, Usagi and the group went over to investigate. They soon came to the gymnasium and peeked inside to see that many teens were inside, all wearing gis watching two students practice. As Usagi and her group looked at the two students practicing, they were surprised to see that one of the two students was a certain girl with short blonde hair. Not only that, but they also saw Michiru, watching Haruka from afar.

"No way! It's Haruka!" gasped Usagi. "And Michiru, too!"

Haruka then looked up. "Oh? Hey there, Bun-head," she greeted as she came over. "Didn't expect to see you and your friends here. What brings you out here? Are you guys following me, or is this a coincidence? I already told you and your twin almost everything the other day unless there's something else you want to know about me."

Usagi and Minako blushed with embarrassment, remembering back. "N-No! It's nothing like that!" the two girls squeaked.

"We were just in the neighborhood," Makoto said. "What about you? And are all the others in here students of Mugen Academy?"

"That's right," said Michiru, who also came up to them. "The teachers in our school are hosting a retreat for the new students. A training camp, if you will."

"Well, I guess great minds think alike," said Rei. "I came up here to train myself."

"Is that so?" Michiru smiled. "In that case, since we have the opportunity, why don't you spar with us? We could train together for a bit before our teacher comes back."

"Good idea, Michiru," said Haruka. "That is if they know how to fight."

"I know a little martial arts thanks to Mako," said Harusuke. "Mind if I have a go?"

Usagi and the others looked at Harusuke in surprise.

"Hold on, Harusuke!" Usagi squeaked. "You can't fight those two!"

"Why not?" puzzled Harusuke. "Since they're offering us to spar, I might as well, right?"

"But they're girls!" protected Minako. "A guy like you shouldn't fight girls like this! It doesn't feel right!"

Haruka scowled. "And why shouldn't he?" she spoke in a firm tone. "Differences in sexes shouldn't matter, especially in a fight."

"She's right," agreed Michiru, who was just as firm. "You seem to be taking for granted that women can't beat men. If you enter a fight with that kind of mindset, you won't be able to protect what's precious to you."

Usagi and the girls gazed at the two in surprise by their words as Harusuke stepped forward.

"Now, now, I'm sure the girls didn't mean any harm," he soothed. "But I do agree with what you're saying. I treat all of my opponents equally in a fight. Gender doesn't matter to me."

"In that case, let's get you in a gi," said Haruka. "Come this way."

Haruka and Michiru led Harusuke inside and had him outfitted with a gi just like them. Harusuke stood in the middle of the mat, warming up with some stretches while Usagi, her group, and the other students stood on either side, wanting to watch the match. Usagi and the girls were worried, while everyone else was excited.

As Harusuke finished stretching, Haruka walked up to him.

"How does your gi feel?" asked Haruka. "Not too big or small?"

"Nope. It fits perfectly," Harusuke said. "Shall we get started?"

Michiru then walked up. "Yes, we shall," she said. "I'll be your opponent."

Harusuke's cheeks flushed upon seeing her, a bit taken aback. "Hold on a second. I thought I was going to be fighting Haruka."

"Sorry, I've been sparring all day and need a break," said Haruka. "But don't worry, Michiru's more than capable of holding her own."

"Unless you have a problem with fighting me?" Michiru asked with a teasing grin.

"W-Well, no! I don't!" insisted Harusuke. "I just never pegged you to be the fighting type."

"Oh, is that so?" giggled Michiru. "I guess I'm full of surprises. For a second, I thought that you were a bit scared to hit a beautiful girl despite all your talk."

Harusuke's eyebrow twitched a bit in irritation as he bit back the urge to object.

"By the way, have you done any judo before?" asked Michiru. "Or am I to assume that you're new to this?"

"Mako's taught me a few moves about basic martial arts," replied Harusuke. "Other than that, I know next to nothing about judo."

"I appreciate your honesty," smiled Michiru. "In that case, why don't we make things a bit interesting? Why don't you fight however you see fit, and I'll fight my way?"

Usagi, Harusuke, and even Haruka were a bit surprised.

"Wow, Michiru, isn't that a bit much?" asked Haruka.

"There's no need to worry," reassured Michiru. "Besides, I could use a bit of a challenge today, so I figured I'd give myself a handicap."

Harusuke couldn't help but feel even more irritated as he tried his best to keep it in. "H-How daring of you," he said.

"OK, I don't care how pretty this girl is! She is going down!" Harusuke thought. "Normally, I'd take things in stride, but I'll show her not to underestimate me!"

"Alright, the rules in this spar are simple," said Haruka. "The first one to pin the other wins."

Harusuke and Michiru squared off against one another while everyone waited with bated breath for the fight to begin.

"Be careful, Harusuke," Usagi whispered.

"Don't worry. Your brother's got this in the bag," reassured Makoto. "After all, I've taught him a few moves, so there's no way he'll lose."

A hushed silence came into the room as Harusuke took his stance while Michiru stood in front of him, calm and still. Harusuke shifted his foot to the right, and then with a yell, he lunged straight at Michiru, going for her right side with a punch. But Michiru leaned back, avoiding it with ease. Harusuke punched again using his other hand, but Michiru dodged it with grace. Now getting even more annoyed, Harusuke punched, roundhouse-kicked, right crossed and kicked. However, every time he tried to land a blow, Michiru either leaned to the side or bent backward, avoiding them all.

"What the heck is going on here?! I can't get a single hit in!" Harusuke thought. "Is she reading my moves somehow? If that's the case, then I'll have to try and fake her out."

Harusuke planted his feet and came at Michiru again, swinging his fist to his right. As soon as Michiru began leaning to the left to dodge, Harusuke stopped his fist in a feint and switched it up with a left punch. But what happened next happened in a split second. Before Harusuke could react, he felt his world turn upside down as he was slammed hard to the floor with a thud.

Usagi and the others rushed over to him.

"Harusuke! Are you alright?!" Usagi cried worriedly.

"That looked like it hurt!" Minako said with concern. "Nothing's broken, is there?"

Harusuke answered with a groan, feeling dazed and bruised as he shook his head, trying to get the slight concussion out of his head.

Michiru then came over. "You alright?" she asked. "I apologize if I went a bit too hard."

Harusuke looked up, and when she saw Michiru bending down and offering a hand to help him up. When she saw Michiru's kind smile, he couldn't help but blush again as he took her hand while she pulled him up.

"N-No worries. I let my guard down is all," Harusuke said, trying not to stutter. "You're pretty good."

"Why thank you," said Michiru. "I did learn from Haruka, but you're not half bad yourself. So maybe Haruka and I can teach you a few moves. That way, we can have an even match next time."

"Y-Yeah. Sure," Harusuke mumbled.

While the two had this exchange, Makoto, Rei, Minako, and even Ami couldn't help but get slightly annoyed. Just then, a woman with fair skin and long red hair in a ponytail came walking into the room.

"What's going on here?" the woman asked. "I don't recall seeing you kids here before.

"It's nothing, Ms. Kaori," said Michiru. "Just having a sparring match with some students from another school is all." Then, she turned to Usagi and her group. "That's Ms. Kaori, our principal of Mugen Academy. She's not too keen with strangers, so you might want to get going."

Taking the hint, Harusuke, Usagi, and the rest of the group scampered away, not wanting to get in trouble.

▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃

Later that night, everyone in the complex was sound asleep, except for Kaolinite, hovering outside by her wand. She took a quick scan around the complex as she floated there, searching for something. Then she ventured closer, looking through all the windows until she stopped at a particular one. Inside, she saw a young girl walking down the hall, sleepily mumbling to herself.

Kaolinite then smirked. "It seems as though I've found my test subject," the evil woman said to herself. "Let's see how the Egg reacts when it's fused with a human being."

The evil witch then held up her hand, making the Daimon Egg appear. Then she held out, and it began to float towards the unsuspecting girl. The Egg entered the building and hovered over towards the girl. Once it saw its target, it shot forward and pierced directly into her back, disappearing. The girl's body jolted as she began to write in pain, her eyes wide in agony as she held herself staggering backward close to the open window.

Unable to stop herself, she fell out of the window, plummeting to the ground. As she fell, she began to undergo a startling transformation. A dark, viscous fluid erupted from her body, swallowing her up. The fluid bent and morphed as it began to take the shape of another Daimon. However, unlike the others, this one was much larger, more beastly, and had the appearance of a strange bug, with piercing red eyes and long tendrils.

As it fell to the ground with a crash, the creature let out a roar that echoed throughout the area, was so loud that everyone inside the building woke up with a start, including Usagi and her group.

"What the heck was that?!" exclaimed Makoto.

Rei then rushed over to the door opening it in time to see the Daimon enter the forest. "Look! Over there!" she cried, pointing.

Usagi and the others then rushed over, and they saw the creature too.

"What is that thing?!" Minako cried. "A Daimon?!"

"If it is, it's different than the others we've faced before!" Harusuke said. "That one looks like something that came from a sci-fi movie!"

"Whatever that thing is, we have to stop it before someone gets hurt!" said Ami. "We have to transform!"

"Let's go, guys!" Usagi said.

Everyone then took out their transformation items and shouted their phrases.

"MOON COSMIC POWER MAKE UP! ! !"

"MERCURY STAR POWER MAKE UP! ! !"

"MARS STAR POWER MAKE UP! ! !"

"JUPITER STAR POWER MAKE UP! ! !"

"VENUS STAR POWER MAKE UP! ! !"

"SOLAR PRISM POWER BLAZE FORTH! ! !"

Transformation Sequence: Usagi

Usagi's Cosmic Heart Compact opens, revealing the pink heart-shaped crystal inside, waving her hand over it. It flashes twice and erupts in pink light. Usagi is now standing in the middle of a light blue heart that's spinning to the right. She stands one leg while holding up her arms and begins pirouetting in the opposite direction, going faster until, in a burst of light, pink ribbons envelop her torso and midsection, transforming into her leotard. She elegantly stretches out her arms, and pink ribbons cover them, forming into her gloves. She then raised her right foot high with incredible flexibility, and pink ribbons cloak it changing into her boots. The heart made of blue light then turns into a circle of sparkles swirling around her waist, forming her skirt and bow. Now no longer in light, Usagi spins around a couple of times like a ballerina and takes a slight bow. As she comes out from her bow, a crescent moon mark glows in the middle of her forehead. Then, a tiara appears bearing a gold symbol of the Moon, along with her earrings, choker, and her ordango covers. Finally, Usagi opens her eyes, her transformation now complete, and strikes her signature pose.

Transformation Sequence: Harusuke.

Harusuke holds up his hand as the stone on his bracelet shines bright in golden light. The stone lets out three pulses, the symbol of the Sun glowing inside of it on the third pulse. Harusuke is enveloped in silver and gold light as he jumps into the air, his clothes disappearing. The symbol of the sun appears just above him and goes down, phasing through his body, making his silver jumpsuit with gold lines on the sides materialize. Two smaller sun symbols go over his feet to his kneecaps, and his gold and metal boots and silver kneecaps appear. Around his waist, a ring of light wraps around it, forming a belt with a gold belt buckle in the shape of an oval. Harusuke then spreads his arms wide as two more light rings envelop his arms and hands, making gold gloves appear. The symbol of the sun appears in front of him now, and crashes into his chest, making his chest piece like before, now thicker and having shoulder guards. Finally, a helmet materializes above Harusuke's head, the design slightly different as he reaches and grabs hit, putting it on his head, not having a mouth protector. Harusuke opens his eyes, punches his hands together, and strikes his signature pose, the symbol of the sun appearing behind him with a star-filled background.

Transformation Sequence: Ami

Ami holds up her hand as blue sparkles swirled around it, alighting her fingernails turning them into a shade of bright blue. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end and the symbol glowing. It begins to turn as Ami is enveloped in blue light. Then she sweeps the pen over her head as a stream of sparkling blue water begins to emit from it, forming her leotard, boots, and gloves. A sparkling ripple and a flurry of bubbles expand over her body, creating a tiny mist of water that forms the rest of her uniform, the same as Sailor Moon's, but the center bow, boots, and rims on the gloves were blue and bright blue. Finally, she turns around and then strikes her signature pose.

Transformation Sequence: Rei

Rei's hand is held up as red sparkles swirl around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into a shade of bright red. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end as well as the symbol glowing. It begins to turn as Rei is enveloped in red light. As she held up her pen while spinning around, long bright tongues of flame erupted from it, forming several rings around her body. They tighten around her body, and in a brilliant flash of light, her outfit forms having to look just like Sailor Moon's, but she is wearing red pumps along with a pair of red star-shaped earrings, the center bow is purple, and the rims of her gloves, her skirt, her choker, and collar are red. After that, Mars finishes with her signature pose.

Transformation Sequence: Makoto

Makoto's hand is held up as green sparkles swirl around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into a shade of bright green. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end as well as the symbol glowing. It starts to turn around rapidly as green light envelops Makoto. As she holds up her pen while spinning around, long streams of lightning erupt from it, encircling her body, forming an atom of sorts before exploding in a brilliant flash of light. Her outfit forms, having to look just like Sailor Moon's, wearing green boots along with her pair of roses earrings, the bow is pink, and the rims of her gloves green, as is her skirt, her choker, and collar. After that, Jupiter finishes with her signature pose.

Transformation sequence: Minako.

Minako's hand is held up as golden stars swirl around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into a shade of bright orange. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end as well as the symbol glowing. It begins to turn as Minako is enveloped in yellow light. Then she sweeps the pen over her head as banners of golden stars emit from it. Minako then holds up the pen above her head as the banners of stars form a spiral around her body. They disappear into the ground, forming a circle of stars and burst into more stars going upwards, enveloping Minako's body. Then Minako emerges wearing the same outfit as Sailor Moon's, the center bow, boots, and rims on the gloves colored orange, her back bow, yellow, and her center bow, blue. She then opens her eyes as she assumes her signature pose.

The Daimon continued making its way through the forest until Kaolinite appeared in front of it, cutting off its path.

"Well, this is a surprise," she said. "Imperfect at best, but I suppose I should be grateful that this Daimon has a good strong host and was able to procure me a Pure Heart."

She then snapped her fingers, the Droid got close, and a small ball of light came out from the middle of its chest. It was a Pure Heart Crystal. Kaolinite held out her hand, making the crystal come towards it. As she held it in her hand, she inspected it to see if it was the one that contained anything inside it. Much to her disappointment, she found that it didn't.

"So this one wasn't the Pure Heart we've been looking for either," Kaolinite spoke with disappointment. "Oh, well. Since this isn't the one we seek, then I suppose I'll have to destroy it."

Then a white disc of energy came shooting out, knocking it out of her hand.

"You're not doing anything with that Pure Heart Crystal! Not if we have any say about it!"

Kaolinite looked down, and much to her annoyance, she saw Sailor Moon and the other guardians. The white disc zoomed back to Sailor Moon, turning back into her tiara as she caught it.

"So, it's you, people, again," Kaolinite spoke with a raised brow. "The ones that have been interfering and destroying our Daemons."

"Who are you?!" demanded Solaris. "Are you the one responsible for this monstrosity?!"

"And what if I am?" Kaolinite asked coolly. "You won't live long enough anyway. So let's see how you foolish children stand against my latest Daimon."

And with that, Kaolinite disappeared as the Daimon menacingly roared, gunning straight towards them, causing all the Guardians to scatter.

Sailor Mars then took out three ofuda papers from her uniform. "Let me handle that thing!" she said as she aimed. "EVIL SPIRIT, BE EXERCISED! ! !"

The Guardian of Fire then threw the ofuda papers sticking the surface of the Daimon. However, the Daimon was unaffected as they disappeared from existence.

"Let us take a crack it!" said Sailor Jupiter. "Let's attack it at the same time!"

With their signature moves, Sailor Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, and Solaris attacked the Daimon.

"JUPITER SPARKLING WIDE PRESSURE!"

"MERCURY SHINE AQUA ILLUSION!"

"VENUS LOVE-ME CHAIN!"

"SOLARIS NOVA FLARE!"'

A disc of lighting, a stream of water, a chain of hearts made of light, and a powerful white beam, all combined into a super attack that was powerful, but, like what happened with Sailor Mars' ofuda, it hardly did any damage. If anything, it made the Daimon angrier as it fired the tendrils from its body at the heroes. Everyone attempted to dodge the incoming attacks, but every one of them got hit by a tendril that had the force of a car knocking them to the ground.

The Daimon growled as it went for the kill, but just as it was about to finish them off -.

"URANUS WORLD SHAKING!"

A powerful energy attack of earth hit the Daimon, making it tremble and shake from its power.

"NEPTUNE DEEP SUBMERGE!"

A mighty sphere of power then hit the Daimon next, making it roar in agony as it staggered from the damage, becoming weak.

Sailor Moon and the others were surprised knowing who the attacks belonged to, but they couldn't see them anywhere.

Solaris then shouted. "Sailor Moon! Hurry! Finish off the Daimon before it has a chance to recover!"

Sailor Moon nodded in response as she summoned her Spiral Moon Rod, taking aim at the creature and unleashing her attack.

"MOON SPIRAL HEART ATTACK!"

With a blast of pink energy in the shape of a heart, the Daimon let out a dying roar, the attack destroying it in a cloud of vapor, leaving only Kaolinite's victim in its place. Sailor Moon and the others rushed over to check the girl, only to see that her skin was pale.

"Oh, no! She's had her Pure Heart Crystal stolen!" gasped Sailor Moon.

"You think that woman took it with her when she vanished?" wondered Solaris.

"If she did, we've got to go after her and get it back!" said Sailor Venus.

But they did not need to do that, for right then, the Pure Heart Crystal came floating from above, catching everyone's attention, and in a few seconds, the Pure Heart Crystal went back to its rightful owner, the girl's skin regaining color.

Sailor Moon and the others looked up, wondering where the crystal came from, and up in the trees, they saw two shadowy figures. Those figures, upon recognizing, turned out to be Sailor Uranus and Neptune.

"It's them again!" said Sailor Moon. "Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune!"

Then, Sailor Uranus and Neptune, each leaping, took to the air, soaring high into the sky.

"Wait a minute!" Sailor Moon cried. "Come back!"

The Guardian of the Moon then took off after them.

"Sailor Moon, wait!" Sailor Venus said.

But Sailor Moon had already disappeared into the forest out of sight.

"Don't worry! I'll follow her!" Solaris spoke as he took off in pursuit.

Sailor Moon ran as fast as her legs could carry her, watching the two Guardians, but every second, the two seemed to get further away from her.

"They're both so fast!" Sailor Moon thought to herself. "I can't keep up with them!"

Sailor Moon soon stopped when she came to an open area, panting while she caught her breath. She looked around, but there was no one else around except for her.

"I lost her," Sailor Moon murmured, frustrated that she failed.

Then she heard a voice.

"Well, I didn't think that you'd be able to keep up with me. I underestimated you."

Sailor Moon immediately turned around and saw that sitting on a branch in a tree was Sailor Uranus. Upon seeing her, Sailor Moon called out to her.

"Sailor Uranus! Tell me, why do are do you, Sailor Neptune, leave every time you save us? And why are you after the Pure Heart Crystals? Are you our allies, or are you our enemies?"

Sailor Uranus then leaped down from her branch in front of Sailor Moon. "Look, Bun-Head, you're cute and all, but it would be wise for you not to ask so many questions. And you should also know well enough not to get in our way, or you'll be sorry. Some of the games that we play are too dangerous."

Before Sailor Moon had a chance to react, Sailor Uranus got shot forward, getting close to her as she cupped her cheek. Then, Sailor Uranus planted a kiss on Sailor Moon's lips, making the Moon Guardian's eyes widen in shock.

Solaris ran through the forest, searching for his sister and Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. However, he couldn't see them anywhere.

"Darn it all! Where did they go?" Solaris complained to himself. "They couldn't have gotten far."

The Sun Knight then floated upwards, hoping to get a better look. Then, he saw someone on the ground dashing through the trees.

"Now, I got you!" Solaris yelled as he shot down towards where he saw the intruder and landed on the ground.

He glanced around, seeing nothing but trees and bushes. Then he saw Sailor Neptune, standing a few feet away in a clearing.

"So there you are, Sailor Neptune," Solaris spoke. "You owe me some answers."

But before Solaris could start interrogating her, Sailor Neptune leaped into the trees, disappearing from view. Solaris looked around him, trying to see where the mysterious Guardian went, but he didn't see her.

"Where are you?" Solaris called out to the trees. "Show yourself!"

Then he heard Sailor Neptune's voice. "You're pretty bold, engaging a stranger all on your own. Bold, yet dangerous."

"Tell me! Are you and Uranus Guardians, or are you both our enemies?" Solaris demanded. "And why are you two after the Pure Hearts of humans like the Daimons?"

"My, my. You're quite the curious one, aren't you?" Sailor Neptune's voice said. "However, you had better be careful. As they say, "Curiosity killed the cat." And that kind of curiosity..."

Then, Solaris sensed something coming at him from behind, making him turn around and instinctively throw a punch, only to see that there was no one there. Then, as he turned around, Sailor Neptune had suddenly appeared in front of him.

"Could cost your life," Sailor Neptune finished quietly.

And before Solaris could even cry out or speak, Sailor Neptune leaned in close and kissed Solaris right on the lips making his eyes go wide, his body frozen with shock.
