The hot hell temperature from the shower fogged up the bathroom mirror. As Celine glanced to see her reflection she couldn't see anything but a dull vision of herself. Her eyes were tearful and heavy she wasn't crying because Simone was dead. She was crying because she lost everyone who has been dear to her.
Celine finished washing the blood away and she watched the faint red water drain away into the sink. She got out her feet damp leaving wet footprints against the shiny wooden floor. Celine walked to her closet damp and naked into her walk-in closet yet again.
She didn't spend hours and hours putting together an outfit instead she threw on a simple black dress that hang towards her knees, black sunglasses to hide the fact that she broke down in tears and black gloves to cover her bloodstained nails.
Celine looked as if she was dressed to attend a funeral and I guess she was. The forever goodbye to her love. She was already welcoming the old Celine back; The Cobra waiting to find blood. She grabbed her black heeled boots and put them on quickly. Already set to leave her house Celine did just that.
She got into her car and drove silently to the hospital listening to nothing but the winds and her thoughts. Celine didn't know what to expect at the hospital or what awaits but she was ready.
Meanwhile...At The Hospital
Axel paced back and forth nervous to hear the news. The was a heavy question on his mind as well. Apart of him didn't want to force an answer but he wanted to make sure it was the right one.
Axel waited for about two hours now watching nothing but the footsteps of strangers pass him by. Doctors and Nurses didn't have any news on her as of yet. He didn't even have an answer for himself. Axel decided to check his phone to help the time pass. He saw a new message from his cousin Celine and decided to check. Axel played the recording and listened to it closely.
His jaw dropped as he heard Simone's words. How could she? Simone betrayed the whole family and a price must be paid with her life. Axel's grip on his cellphone tightened. He couldn't imagine all the things he'd do to damage Simone. She played with fire and chose to let the whole world burn down.
Axel got up and paced even more this time with anger on his chest. He shoved his phone into his pocket and decided it would be time passing to get the job done. As soon as he was near the hospital door exits, Celine walked in.
"Celine?" Axel said surprised
"Axel" Celine said
"Where did you put Simone? I need to get the job done." Axel whispered
"She's dead," Celine said
Celine was emotionless there was this cold presence about her. Axel pulled Celine into a hug because he knew his cousin better than anyone else. She would always push her feelings aside allowing herself to drown even more. Although she was a killing machine; deep down she was truly a human being with feelings. Celine finally broke down again, She cried out against Axel's chest. They both stood there not saying a word.
When Celine was comforted enough the two walked back to the waiting room where they both waited to hear news on Alora. A nurse finally came to Axel quietly.
"Are you here for Alora?" The nurse asked
"Yes," Axel said
"She's in surgery right now, the doctors have successfully removed the glass from the site. Just a few stitches. She'll be doing a full-body check for any damages and such. The doctor will inform you of the rest in a few hours" The nurse said
"Uhh...Thanks" Axel said
Axel was in disbelief, how badly did she hurt Alora?
Celine glanced at Axel
"How are you feeling?" Celine asked
"I don't know how to feel Celine..these past months have been chaos," Axel said
"Care to elaborate?" Celine said fixing her sunglasses
"Alora...It's all my fault, Celine."
"Oh come on Axel. We both saw it was Simone and she even admitted to doing it."
"I know but ever since she was taken she hasn't been the same. Always upset or distant."
"I honestly think it's something else, Axel."
"I don't know.."
Axel's phone rang and he quickly took it out from his pocket to answer. His father was on the line.
"Hey, son we'll be landing soon. Just wanted to find out if you've received any news as of yet?"
"Yea she's in surgery getting stitches," Axel said
"I'm so at peace to hear she's still alive. We'll meet you there at the hospital soon."
"See you dad and please tell Devine I said I love you"
"Will do"
Axel hung up the phone and held it in his hand. He continued talking with his cousin Celine about her business and mafia as time passed by. Alora's parents Irena, Farrell, Mara, Manuel and Bruna all arrived at the hospital. The rest of the team had to stay back at the new house to keep watch and guard of Devine. In the meantime, Lizzie was still locked a hidden house and surrounded by guards.
The five of them arrived at the hospitals with neutral moods across their faces. Celine instantly glanced at Bruna her curls rested on her shoulders. Bruna's eyes rested on Celine, she gave a small smile. Bruna was Alora's best woman and best friend along with Lilith.
"Good to see you Son" Mara said
"Good to see you too," Axel said
Mara placed her hand gently on Axel's left cheek.
"I know you're hurting my boy. It'll all be worth this pain. Alora is worth it all." Mara said
Axel gave his mother a weak smile. Mara let go allowing her arm to fall free.
"Axel?" Farrell whispered
Axel glanced at Farrell
"I think it's time we tell her soon," Farrell said
Axel looked down at his lap.
"Tell who what?" Celine said confused
"It's a long story but...Alora is the Gravano's missing daughter" Axel said
"Wait..after all these years you've finally found her! You didn't even tell me!" Celine said jumping up
"Nor did we tell Alora," Axel said quietly
"Axel...you're gonna have to do it soon," Celine said sounding disappointed
"I know," Axel said
"We'll discuss this in further detail later. What happened to Alora?" Irena asked
"My excuse of an ex-wife attacked her," Celine said with her voice cracking
"Simone did this?!" Farrell asked with his voice raised
Celine nodded looking down
"Where is she?! I'll destroy that woman!"
"She's gone-I–killed her," Celine said her hands were shaking
"I need to go to the bathroom!" Celine said walking fast
Bruna looked back at Celine before turning her attention to the family.
"I'll go check on her" Bruna said
"Thank you for being so kind," Mara said
"Ofcourse," Bruna said
Bruna walked fast after Celine making sure not to lose her. She could see Celine turn and rush into a bathroom. Bruna hurried and stopped the door and slipped her way inside.
Celine looked up at Bruna in surprise. Her sunglasses rested on the sink and Celine stood in front of the mirror.
"Just came to check up on you," Bruna said
Celine shrugged her eyes were bloodshot red and her mascara was running down her face.
"Let me help you clean up your mascara," Bruna said
Bruna walked further into the bathroom next to Celine. She turned on the pipe and started wiping mascara off Celine's face.
Celine stared at Bruna's face closely. She noticed a scar on Bruna's face but also her eyes. Celine placed a kiss on Bruna's lips pulling away.
"Why'd you kiss me?" Bruna asked
"I'm sorry...I got carried away" Celine said apologizing
"I didn't say to stop you know," Bruna said blushing
Bruna kissed Celine deeply this time.
Meanwhile...
The atmosphere in the waiting room was heavy and quiet. They all talked to each other lowly. Heavy footsteps came into the distance and Axel stood up on his feet quickly. The doctor who fixed his glasses stopped by them.
"All here for Alora?"
"Yes, How is she?!" Axel said impatiently
"I hate to break the news to you, Mr.Gravano. We found a heavy amount of alcohol in her system which lead to alcohol poisoning. It isn't to the point of death but because she's pregnant it could harm the baby's health. She also had a threatened miscarriage from alcohol consumption. Good news though there is no head damage and she is all stitched up." The doctor said
"She's pregnant?!" Axel yelled out surprised
