Maharaj Diwakar and Senapati Ambar were discussing about their wives Dayamalini and Nyayemalini.
"Pata nahi Mahadev ki Kashi ko kiski ku-drishti lag gayi hai ?" Diwakar said.
"Har varsh humari patniyo jis din yeh bhaan hoga Maharaj ki devi Harihareshwari aur Prabhu Shreeshaktiswar unki santaane nahi, toh woh tut jayengi." Ambar said.
"Nahi Senapati, hum aisa nahi hone de sakte. Hume unki iccha ko purn karna hoga." Diwakar said.
"Kintu kaise ?" Ambar asked.
"Hume devi Harihareshwari aur prabhu Shreeshaktiswar se prathna karni hogi. Ki woh Dayamalini aur Nyayemalini ki iccha purn kare." Diwakar said.
"Uchit kaha aapne." Ambar nodded.
"Mere saath aayiye Senapati." Diwakar said.
He went outside and Ambar followed him behind. Diwakar mounted on his rath along with Ambar and ordered the charioteer to take them to the temple of Harihareshwari and Shreeshaktiswar.
On the other side Dayamalini haf finished making the idol of Amarsri as 14 year old young girl. She smiled looking at it.
"Kitni sundar lag rahi ho putri.... Har varsh tumhare saundarya ki aabha badhti jaa rahi hai." Dayamalini said.
She cupped the face of the idol and few tears fell from her eyes.
"Kahi meri ki Ku-drishti na lag jaye tumhe." She nervously chuckled.
Dayamalini touched the end of her eyes, getting Kajal smeared in her ring finger. She then applied a small dot of it behind the ears of the idol.
On the other side Nyayemalini was also done with making the idol of Shreeshaktiswar as a 14 year old young boy.
"Mere putra ke bade-bade netra toh dekho....ekdum apni Maa ki tarah." Nyayemalini said smiling.
"Man karta hai ki tumhe jeevan bhar niharti rahu." Nyayemalini muttered caressing the face of the idol.
On the otherside Diwakar and Ambar reached the temple dedicated to Harihareshwari and Shreeshaktiswar. Both of them took out their daggers and pointed it on their necks.
"Hey Harihareshwari ! Hey Shreeshaktiswar ! Yadi humara pati dharm satya hai toh hume darshan de !" Diwakar said.
"Yadi aapne hume darshan nahi diye, toh aaj hum apne praan yahi tyaag denge ! Kyuki hum apni ardhanginiyo ko iss dukh mei nahi dekh sakte !" Ambar said.
Suddenly the winds started howling yet at the same time everything went calm. A bright light emerged from the idols of the temple causing both the men to close their eyes.
They slowly opened their eyes and saw Harihareshwari and Shreeshaktiswar right in front of them. Both Diwakar and Ambar bowed to them.
"Diwakar aur Ambar, aapne hume kyu bulaya hai ?" Srinav asked.
"Prabhu, humari patniya aap dono ko apne santano ke roop mei dekhti hai." Ambar said.
"Hum jaante hai. Unka prem humare prati shudh aur nishchal hai." Amarsri said.
"Toh unhe iss prem ka fal de devi, aap dono kripya kar unke matritva ko falit kare. Keval ek din ke liye hi sahi." Diwakar said.
"Tathastu !" Both the deities blessed.
