SANVI'S POV
I greedily inhaled the delicious aroma which was coming from the kitchen it surely was mouthwatering,as I was eagerly hopping down the stairs as if I was a rabbit for the food, but who cares the mouthwatering smell of food just made my brain freeze, and I knew about nothing other than the urge to just devour the dish which was being prepared. I knew who was making them,I knew that he was preparing that specially for me,as by the smell of it I knew it was my favourite food. Just as I was about to enter the kitchen i heard someone call my name,I stilled in my place,......no,no, this can't be him,I didn't dare to turn towards him, why? Why was he so invested in making my life miserable? What did I ever do to him? Why did he change from the sweetest person to a complete Psycho ? Why?
But one thing was sure that I was not going to be with him,no never so I ran I ran and ran, and suddenly he started singing Laila mein Laila, ok.. what why was he singing that, suddenly he changed the song into My name is Sheila,ok...
What the actual heck ? Was going on here, again the song changed and he started singing and dancing on Saki Saki..
What the hell was this mad person doing? Suddenly he started scolding someone in my Mumma's voice...oh ok..
I woke up startled,oh god really why don't you just do whatever you want to do with me now and get over it, and what the hell is happening in my house now.
I just sighed and went to Washroom, and I came out after I was ready and I know that I was not going to go anywhere atleast for another 2 days, after 2 days we are visiting temple.
Just as I landed my foot outside my room,I was met by loud screaming from my Mumma and by the looks of it my Dadda was trying to calm her,I mean I can't see from here but I can really here both of them speaking, oops no,no dadda was gently speaking and Mumma was screaming on top of her lungs.
As I landed downstairs in the living area, haha why does it sounds like I landed from a chopper or something,well not my problem,ok so back to the drama,my Mumma was still scolding someone and now I know that she was scolding Ace bhai and Neel. Ok for what actually,well the scene infront of me looked so funny as the big bad CEO Ace Martinez looked like a kicked puppy and the Devil Football Captain looked nothing more than a little cat. Ha! I snorted at that,they were always like this in front of my Mumma little scaredy cats,but I am that brave person in this whole family who can openly snicker or laugh when Mumma was scolding someone.
So with that proud feeling that Mumma would never be mad at me,I stood near her and asked her what happened.
"What happened Mumma?why are you scolding them so much? That too so early in the morning, and look at their faces it feels like they are one step away from fainting. " I said while grinning the whole time and my brothers were glaring at me, and I am sure they just killed me in their minds and even brought me back,haha .
"Oh! Sanu you are up, good, you know I have called the Best Beautician in India and he will arrive in an hour and I also called our normal massager so that she can come and massage you before the beautician does his magic,oh! You asked about these fools right, these so called successful peoples were trying to turn your sangeet ceremony into a .... I don't even want to say that word, leave it... They were supposed to be finalizing the songs for the Sangeet,but no I made the grave mistake of trusting these fools hindi, they selected all the item songs,I am not saying it's bad and all,but I don't think anyone of us is going to perform My name is Sheila and Laila mein Laila ok... That doesn't sound like the Sangeet at all . " My mumma,said those as if only the mere thought about performing them infront of our families and guest disgusted her,and I was trapped between wanting to laugh the hell out or to cry the hell out,why? why? I thought today would be my rest day, and those two fools of brothers were trying hard to control their laugh after witnessing my constipated face, yeah laugh as much as you want. I am here just for your entertainment.
I sighed,so much for being the favourite one, I just gave a nod to my mumma, and just then the massager came, so I just went to a guest room with her,..

After the massage I was feeling really good,I wouldn't lie about that. So now that I was happy,I thanked her and when I was going downstairs with her,I saw that Mahi and Prachi were trying hard to stop Ana and Isha so that they won't try to tear each others hair, which by the way was not possible,so what was up with my friends? And why was Edward looking at all of this as if it was some kind of comedy-drama and he looked seconds away from bringing popcorn and sit their enjoying the free show to his heart content, some great friends I have.
While the fight was still going on,I didn't even glanced at the massager as she was not new to this crazy family,this was some type of daily routine,if we all were present in a single place.
So I joined my friends and saw that the massager escaped this place, which can be also called as a partial asylum, atleast it looked like that for outsiders.
"Guys, guys what the hell happened? Why are you all fighting?" I asked my supposed bff's,I think I was drunk when I made the decision of being these fools friend, and then again I hate drinking.
"Very rude Sanu, very rude is this the way to speak to your elders and I was just keeping these two people or more like wild animals away from each other. And poor Prachi, she doesn't even know what these feral cats are fighting for, ... And you both stop it, Lucas's family is going to come here at any moment and they definitely shouldn't see you both feral cats fighting each other." Mahi informed me while glaring at those both as if they really were some wild animals.
I shook my head at them and Eddy took that upon himself to explain the situation, of course he would do that as he was watching the whole scenario like a person starving for water in the desert and just found an oasis.
"So you know,our Ana here is hard-core fan of BTS or more specifically Army, and Isha on the other hand loves one direction from the bottom of her heart and let's not forget about her craziness over Zayn Malik. So these both were fighting over which boyband is the best, which is like absurd,I mean come on they both are good at their own things and BTS V,JM,Jhope and Jk were attending Harry styles's concert for god's sake, but no these people should make a war at this non-existing problem. " He said to me excitedly,ok why the hell would they fight over such a matter.
I love BTS, they are extremely talented,hard workers, humble,and let's not forget the cutest freaking peoples in the world among many more things.
I still love one direction, come on they were super cool, supremely talented,hard workers and they too are hot as you know and please who do not like Harry,or any one of them for the matter of fact. It wasn't an option at all to choose between them. It's like choosing between your father and husband( for those who love them equally.)
Well we didn't get the time to stress about the topic more,as we heard my mumma welcoming Lucas's family from here itself.
And her very first question.
WHERE IS LUCAS?
Ah! Now that was a billion dollar question, but I couldn't even think more about that as Luke hugged me with such a force that he nearly took both of us to the floor,but no our jiminee is the one who loves the floor not us,so we were safe.
I think I am watching BTS Army editing more. But I love it.
So I was hugging Luke, and I don't know what happened, for the first time since we have been friends, Luke was not ready to leave me, even after 5 minutes I think it is more than that, and I don't know why Luke was behaving like this,I know we haven't met in like a month,but this felt like something else,ok... And at this point all our family members were looking at us weirdly,...ok...why were they giving that look, finally lukey thought it was okay to stop hugging me,I mean come on I am not complaining about the hug, but it was like I was kidnapped and now I was free from their clutches,if I was to make complete sense he held at me for his dear life.
So I went to greet Lucas's family, they were like my second family, and they were also the ones except from my family to know about my past.
I first hugged granny Bella, believe me she is the coolest grand mother anybody could ask for. Then I hugged uncle Lucien, and Aunty Rose, then Liam this shorty has become taller than me over the years.
Then lastly Lia she is truly like my bff/ small sis. I hugged her for a long time and she kissed my cheeks and then my mumma asked the main question, which even I was curious about, not that I was complaining, nope, never. I am thinking I am one of those brides,who will be happy if the groom ditched the marriage, ...
Bad Sanu,bad think about your family, you fool,. Yeah I can't wish that now...
But still there is hope..
"Rose, Mr. Knight you didn't answer me, Where is Lucas?" My mumma asked them,and looking at their irritated expression,I take that as a typical billionaire story in Wattpad that has happened now in my situation. ,now,he might have said that,
I have said yes to the marriage, and now you all can't bloody force me to do anything else,blah, blah blah.
"Ah!that ... Lucas will be here in another 3 to 4 days, actually he had a very important business deal,he sent his sincere apologises." Lucien Uncle said and he looked like he simply couldn't come to understand his own son at this point and when Uncle said this,every single person's face in my family was a must watch, my mumma,Mahi and my Aunty had their mouths open with a disbelief expression, my cousin brothers,Ram bhai and Dadda were looking extremely angry, Edward,my uncle and Ana.. wait why were they looking disgusted by that? weird,. While Kritika di, Isha looked extremely happy,.. now why where these people excited about it? And Prachi had a horrific expression and believe me without her knowing she voiced my thoughts.
"Well,in 4 days he obviously have to come as he is not one among the special guest, but the groom himself." Prachi exclaimed sarcastically or I think she did.
Lucas's family now looked like they wanted to dig a hole and jump into it,the situation turned very awkward,so I took the initiative in my hands and welcomed them home and asked my frozen families to show them their respective rooms,and as if I pressed some play button, everyone started immediately doing their things as my brothers and sister showed them their rooms and I accompanied Luke.
"Hey Luke, are you fine?" I asked my zoned out bff and he just shook his head and smiled at me.
"You have nothing to worry about tesero, I am just stressed about a deal, leave about that,how are you doing? And do you really want to get married? You know how Lucas is right?" He asked me,well how was I actually doing? I don't know really,I didn't really gave it a thought, and about this marriage,I think it can be good honestly,the least we both can become is friends. Hmm that is ok or more than okay for me.
"I am good Luke,I am absolutely fine now, and somewhere I feel like this is right, and you,me and everyone else in our family knows that I would have never been really ready to take this step,and even I have a feeling that me and Lucas we would make it work, atleast I will try my level best to make our marriage work." I said to him. Although I knew it was half lie and half truth, but I don't know why, but I knew that if we are getting married then I will try my best to make this all work,I have to move on...
Luke still looked worried,and I don't know why? He looked extremely hurt.

Next day was a complete blur as we were busy in the arrangements and I was also guiding the work, just because I didn't wanted to get married,it definitely doesn't mean that I was sit like some pathetic bride,no way was I going to get married without my choices in it.

Next day we all visited Dharmasthala (lord Shiva's temple) which has become a ritual in my family. Lucas's family looked completely thrilled about it as they all had to wear our traditional attire,as all females wore saree and all males wore shirt and lungi. Which by the way was hilarious,as only uncle Lucien and Liam were having trouble with that, all my friends were used to it as we all have visited this temple frequently.
We came home after visiting the temple, and I was about to go to my room,but I heard someone arguing,and by the looks of it, that was Luke's voice,who was he arguing with?and when I reached near his door,I heard and no I was not eavesdropping at all,I am a good girl.
But yeah back to luke,it seems like he was speaking to Lucas as he said something about twin and all,so I assumed it was my soon to be husband and I thought not to invade more of his privacy as I have already did a bit.
I went to my room and changed my saree into my pajama set. I slept while thinking about tomorrow as it was my haldi tomorrow. I drifted off to sleep, hopefully a dreamless one.
LUCAS'S POV
No Luke,I cannot come tomorrow,are you kidding me,does my no means nothing to you all, I have an important meeting here,i will come straight to the wedding, isn't it enough,I mean it's my marriage,oh please stop overreacting, do you even remember that I am your twin and you don't think for a second about me did you? Ha! So your best friend is important for you and not me, your own twin.
I know I was exaggerating the whole topic but I wanted Luke to support me, to understand me and defend me as he was defending his best friend and arguing on behalf of her here with me, and I was not joking about the meetings,I really really did have a meeting, which I could postpone,.... but I won't.
Lucas, what the hell are you saying? I am your twin ,your brother,of course I will support you and I would defend you too if you were not making any mistakes, but no you are making a mistake by not attending the ceremony and yes as you said it is your marriage you fool,so you better get your ass here by tomorrow afternoon, otherwise I am going to come there and drag your egoistic ass with me,and also bring that crazy best friend of yours ,and please,I am begging you, please leave your son there,bye drama queen. Have good night.
Yeah, right so much for no cursing and what the hell, how was I supposed to leave my son alone for so many days. Shit shit.
I called Michael.
Eli,pack your bags we are going to India today,meet me in an hour in my penthouse.
I didn't give him time to respond,I cut the call and said my secretary to postpone my meetings.and also informed my pilot to keep the plane ready in 2 hours. I called the dog shelter from which I adopted my son,and said them to send a caretaker for my son.
Convincing my son was the hardest part, he was so upset I just didn't wanted to leave him alone at all,but this time I had no option so I bribed him,begged him, did everything I can to convince him, finally my good boy understood me and I packed my bags.
Eli came 10 minutes late,I said him to not utter a single word and warned the caretaker that, if my son was treated poorly,I would sue him and he would be locked in a cage and not the dogs he takes care of.
Till the time we reached the airport,my plane was ready and we took our seats.
India here I come.
