Dreams POV (THE MAN!)
the lava pops in the background, taunting me.
I could just go through and end it all, but Sam won't let me off that easy. theres now a wall there, a wall of bars.
I can't even sleep. there's an alarm blaring whenever I sit down.
and if I somehow pass out from not sleeping, Sam comes in and makes sure I don't sleep.
I tried fighting back, but after being so tired, I was too weak too.
but he didn't think so, he thought it was enough to chain my wrists tightly to the wall. I now only have a few feet of movement.
my new hobbie now is just sobbing as I pull at the chains.
I pull but I'm too weak to do anything.
I wish Techno would come back but I'm sure he isn't allowed near here anymore.
I'm sure no one is.
no one would come anyways.
"fuck off."

now they've abandoned you.
"I-I'm just trapped! they are too! j-just outside!"
they wouldn't leave me.

I fall to my knees and the alarms go off. I let them and claw at the walls.
"STOP TALKING! GO AWAY!"
I try escaping them back they only get louder.
they taunt me for being here.
I claw at the walls till I'm bleeding from the fingertips.
I feel heavier by the second and scratch the walls slower.
everything fades in out of black as everything gets louder.
I feel hands grip me by my now whiter hair and pull me up.
I scream in a horrid mix of pain and fear and The Warden.
"you know the rules Dream." he threatens.
I start begging him, forgetting my weak sense of pride and beg him to let me sleep.
"ONCE! PLEASE! Please Sam! let me sleep!"
Sam smacks me hard across the face and fixes his grip on my hair.
"why should I? why would I trust you?"
"the voices! their terrible! please please please let me sleep! just for one day!"
he wraps a hand around my throat and pins me to the wall.
"why should I care? hm? as far as I know, this is what you have had coming all along. that Ranboo kid? yeah, I know all about what you've been doing.
you sleeping is my worst nightmare!"
pathetic cries escape from me. I feel heavier again and just know I'm about to pass out again.
"I-I'll do anything!"
I start choking as Sam tightens his grip, cutting off the air.
the voices scream at me to hurt him but I have no way to move.
"kill me..." I plead.
"no, I won't be doing that. and what exactly can you do for me here? hm? your worthless!"
I hold his wrists the best I can and try looking at his face with watering eyes.
"...anything..." my voice is as low as a whisper.
Sam looks me up and down judgingly.
slams me back to the ground and turns off the alarms when they go off.
I'm not sure how though. my visions cloudy.
"I wouldn't have someone like you, regardless of how desperate you think I am."

"let's make a deal. one day a week, you can sleep. but you'll have to give me the book."
"I'll die."
"no you won't."
"I will if I don't take this offer... so will everyone else revived, like Tommy." I say on the floor.
let them die.
it's their fault.
"your lying. stop the bullshit." Sam yells as he kicks me.
if I have actually eaten then I would have thrown up.
did I mention I'm still sick?
I've gotten better, but the fever hasn't gone down.
"I gain- ugh... nothing f-from lying here..."
Sam scoffs and leaves the cell.
I let sleep finally take me, for the first time in... a month?
