Meanwhile...In the kitchen
Phoenix rinsed off the last dish and placed it into the dishwasher.
"f*ck I'm so tired" He whispered closing the dishwasher
"Looks like someone has been working hard huh" Macy chuckled
Phoenix chuckled after her words
"What are you doing up?" Phoenix asked
"Just needed some water," Macy said
Phoenix reached for an empty glass and filled it with water. Handing it over to Macy.
"Thanks," Macy said taking a sip
"Goodnight Macy" Phoenix winked walking away
Meanwhile...At Lucy's hideout
"Ugh! How could she?!" Lucy screamed out frustrated
"Would you quit yelling?!"
"No! I thought that b*tch was dead! I know I saw that car hit her!" Lucy bit on her lower lip mad and confused
Emerton rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"Don't worry the time will come and we'll get her"
"I thought we agreed that we want her alive," The Unkown voice said interrupting the two
"You haven't even done anything useful! You haven't even made a plan!" Lilith yells out
"Watch your tone with me! I wouldn't be yelling if I were you!" The Unknown Voice said while playing with his firearm
Emerton sat in silence. While Lucy flared her nose in anger.
"You always defend her! You always defend that sl-"
The Unkown Voice released a bullet into the air. Lucy gasped scared.
"I'll call you when I'm ready to make a plan," The Unkown Voice said leaving
The next day...Axel's Mansion
The early morning chirping of the birds' whistles a morning tone. Alora flutters her eyes open awake to see her wrapped in Axel's arms. She smiles softly before reaching closer and pecking his lips.
"Caught you" Axel whispered and kisses her deeply
Axel leaves soft trails of kisses down her neck. Giggles fill the bedroom.
"I know I said to take things slow but-"
The bedroom door swings open as Devine runs on the bed to give her father a morning hug.
"Hey, little one!" Axel says
Alora smiles placing a kiss on Devine's forehead.
"Good morning Devine," Alora says
"What were you gonna tell me Alora?" Axel asks
"Don't worry about it I'll let you know later" Alora says getting off the bed
"Why don't we have the breakfast I promised," Axel says winking
Devine laughs in excitement.
Devine climbed off of the bed and took ahold of Alora's hand.
"Let's wear dresses!" she said
"Of course" Alora followed Devine out of the room and into Devine's room
Axel watched the two in awe. Alora was a great guardian for Devine. The two had a mother and daughter-like relationship instantly. Axel stretched and got up to prepare for the morning breakfast.
Two Hours Later...
Axel waited by the front door for Alora and Devine to finish up; he had finished seventy-five minutes ago but the girls were taking much longer.
"Finally" Axel breathed out
He stared at Alora who held Devine's hand as they walked down the steps of the mansion. They both had on flowy dresses with little flowers on them. Devine's dress was decorated with daises while Alora's dress had roses decorated.
"The princesses have arrived!" Devine shouted
Axel chuckled. "They sure have and such beautiful princesses you are"
Axel opened the front door gesturing for the two to exit first.
"Thank you," Alora said
She exited through the front door while continuing to hold Devine's hand.
They all got into Axel's car and sat along with one another.
"Where to Sir?" Axel driver asked
"Moondust Morning," Axel said
Axel's driver is Oliver, there isn't much of a special bond between the two. Oliver has been taking Axel on requested drives for five years now. Other than that he's in charge of keeping all of Axel's cars in order and helps along with security.
The car ride was quiet but Axel couldn't take his eyes off of Alora. Her skin glowed beautifully beneath the golden shine from the morning sun. She was the definition of perfection in his eyes. Twenty minutes later the car parked in front of a huge glass-like building. It was decorated elegantly.
"Have arrived at your destination Sir" Oliver said
"Thank you, Oliver, We'll be back within an hour. Please grab some breakfast as well." Axel said before exiting the car
Alora and Devine exited as well along with Axel. They all entered the restaurant and took a seat at a table in a far corner away from the windows. Axel picked up the menu and scanned at the writings.
"Hmm what shall we order?" Axel said with a smile
"I really want pancakes!" Devine said with a grin
Alora chuckled pinching Devine's nose playfully
"Ofcourse you can get pancakes. I think I'll settle for the french toast with eggs." Alora giggled
Axel winked and flashed a smile.
"I think all have the same but combined. What about drinks?"
"Hot chocolate is fine for me. I'm not much of a coffee drinker." Alora said
"I love hot choco!" Devine said
"Guess it's settled then." Axel raised his hands gaining the attention of a waiter
The waiter walked over; taking out his mini notebook and pen.
"Oh! What a surprise to see you, Mr. Santiago! What can I get you?" The waiter said
"Alora why don't you order first?" Axel said winking
"Oh, what can I get for you beautiful lady?"
"Don't ever call her that again!" Axel yelled
"My apologies," The waiter said furrowing his brows
Alora shifted in her seat feeling angry tension in the room.
"I'll take the pancakes with hot chocolate, a french toast and eggs and a plate with french toast, pancakes and eggs. All with hot chocolate please and thank you." Alora said lowly
"Make sure there are no walnuts in any of the dishes," Axel said harshly
The waiter wrote down the order and left the table without another word. Devine hugged Alora softly.
"Thank you Angel" Alora whispered
"I'm really sorry about the yelling. His words took ahold of me"
"It's okay Axel"
Meanwhile...Oliver
Oliver sat back in the driver's seat while dialling a phone number.
"Hello, Oliver?"
"Hello, I've got some information for you"
"What is it?"
"Santiago seems to be on a date with his girl"
"How do you know?"
"Just dropped him off. Noticed he didn't take his eyes off of her the whole car ride."
"You better find out who she is! I can't have anyone f*cking up my plans Oliver!"
"Understood."
