[Ran's POV]
Today is our rest day or what we call a free day since we don't have any training, and today was also the day I'm going to treat Kairi.
Tatsu: "WOAH... You have a date Ran?"
Me: "It's not a date."
Tatsu: "So it's really a date, With whom? Izumi-san?"
Me: "It's not a date you're thinking okay... it's just I ask her if I can treat her to properly thank her"
Tatsu: "I see, that's why you are dressed too well"
Me: "It's my usual casual though"
Tatsu: "Nope... You're dressed like you're really going on a first date"
Me: "Geez... I'm not"
I look again to the mirror to check if I really dress too much. Hmm, I guess I'm not... Just a white shirt under my black hoodie, black jeans, and sneakers and it's really my usual casual wear. Before I go out of the dorm, for the last time I check again if my hair is okay.
Tatsu: "Ran you're going to be late if you keep fixing your hair though" *chuckles*
Me: "Are you sure everything is fine on me?"
Tatsu: "You said it's not a 'DATE' why you're anxious, but yup, everything is fine. " - he gave me smile and a thumbs up.
Me: "Thank You Tatsu" *smiles*
I grab my mask, cap, and glasses before I take my leave.
Me: "Then I'm going. See you later"
Tatsu: "Good luck on your date!"
Me: "It's not a Date!!!!"
I walk to our rendezvous and the patient wait for her since I arrived almost 10 minutes early from our agreed time. Maybe I was too excited about it? HAHAHA never mind.
[Kairi's POV]
I get look in my closet here in my room to look for good clothes I can use. As I open my closet, I have thought in mind why the hell I'm looking for good clothes, it's not a date or what. I grab my oversized white hoodie and my ripped jeans and put on my white snicker. I tied my hair into a messy bun and put on a mask cause other people may misunderstand us.
Me: "Miku chan, I'll be in the afternoon, be good again with Mina and Hiro okay."
"Woof"
Mina: "Ohaiyoooo ohhhh, we're you going Kai-chi??"
Me: "I had an appointment, I'll be back in the afternoon."
Mina: "Okay... enjoy"
I decided to walk to our rendezvous since it's a just 5-minute walk from our house. And I hope I can arrive on time.
After I arrived, at our rendezvous I notice that he already arrived here. Once he saw me, he immediately walk towards me, and even though he was wearing a mask I know he was smiling.
Me: "Sorry, I came late, did you wait long?"
Ran: "Nope, I just arrived here a minute ago too."
Me: "Sorry."
Ran: "No no it's okay, ahmm shall we go?"
Me: "Oh okay."
We just take a couple of minutes of walking before we reach our destination. By looking at his actions, it seems like he already made reservations.
Me: "It's expensive here"
Ran: "Don't worry about it, my aunt owns it so I got a discount." *smiles*
The café right now is one of the themed cafés here in Tokyo and yeah, it looks like it's one of the most expensive cafés here.
Ran: "Izumi-san, are you still free after this?"
Me: "I'm just going to drop by to the shopping district, I have something so buy"
Ran: "I see, if you don't mind can I go with you?"
Me: "Are you not busy?"
Ran: "Nope."
Me: "Are you okay with crowds? I mean they can recognize you?"
Ran: "Nope, they can't recognize" - He smiles widely and I guess I cannot refuse it again.
Me: "Okay."
As the food is served to us, we start to eat too. All I can is the food is really really really deliciousssssssss.
Ran: "I'm glad you enjoy the food" *smiles*
Me: "Ah.. sorry, the food here is good"
Ran: "Next time wanna go here again?"
Me: "Huh?" - What?
Ran: "I mean you can go here again, just told them I'm your friend so that you can get a discount."
Me: "Ahh... But if I could get a free time"
After finishing our food, we head out of the café and walk to the shopping district. We're about to go inside one of the shoe shops when a dog suddenly jumps on me.
Me: "Miku?"
