[Kairi's POV]
What a tiring day. as I arrived at our house, Miku jump in me as she was wiggling her tail.
Me: "Tadaima"
Mina: "Okairi Kai-chi!!!"
I head to the dining where the two are preparing our dinner. I buy some snacks and desserts for us to eat while we are continuing our planning for our project.
Hiro: "So how's the photoshoot?"
Me: "It's okay."
Mina: " Did you meet Otsuka-senshu?"
Me: "Nope, he wasn't assigned to me."
Mina: "Eh how about Takahashi-senshu?"
Me: "Takahashi Ran?"
Mina: "Yup, did you meet him?"
Me: "Yup."
Hiro: "Takahashi Ran? I think I see him when we visit you after you move into your new apartment."
Mina: "Eh? Really?"
Hiro: "He's one of the guys they said they are living next to Kai's unit."
Mina: "EHHHH???? RAN TAKAHASHI IS YOUR NEIGHBOR KAIRI???"
Me: "I guess yes."
Mina: "You are really lucky huh, so you two are close?"
Me: "Nope"
Mina: "Kai.. spill the tea."
Me: "Okay, okay.. first of all, we're not close."
Mina: "Then?"
Me: "Secondly, whatever you're thinking is not true, we're n-"
*ring ring ring*
We all look at my phone that is lying freely on the top of the table, flashing a call screen from an unknown number.
Mina: "And who is that?"
Me: "Give a minute, I'll take this."
I immediately proceed to our balcony to take the call.
Me: "Good evening, who is this?"
"Izumi-san? Ano.. this is Ran"
Ran?
Me: "Ahhh, hello?"
Ran: "Sorry for calling suddenly, are you already sleeping?"
Me: "Ah no, we're currently taking our dinner."
Ran: "Sorry for the interruption, ahmmm can I know when are you going back to Yokohama?"
Me: "Tomorrow, I guess we're going to leave by the afternoon."
Ran: "It's okay if we can go tomorrow, 10 in the morning?"
Me: "Okay,"
Ran: "Then I'll send you the details we're are going to meet."
Me: "Okay"
Ran: "So, I'll see you tomorrow at 10 am."
Me: "Yeah"
Ran: "So... yeah.. ahm... Good night"
Me: "yeah... good night."
After ending the call, I turn back to the dining but I got shocked when I see the two already behind my back.
Mina: "Who's is that Izumi Kairi? "
Me: "Nothing... a friend?"
Hiro: "Hmmm... I doubt. It's a guy right?"
Me: *Sigh* "Whatever."
Mina: "Tell me honestly Kai, did you already get a boyfriend?" - we go back to the dining and continue our dinner.
Me: "Boyfriend? Nope"
Hiro: "Kai, it's been two years so having a boyfriend is fine already."
Me: "I don't need a boyfriend right now, and I'm happy being with myself with Miku and of course, with you guys."
Mina: "Aww, we appreciate it our dear Riri, but if someone asks you out, he needs to have our approvals too."
Hiro: "Yes gurl, one ass*hole is enough to break your heart, Kai."
Me: "Bakerou, you don't have to do that. I'm already fine, and it's been two years."
Mina: "We don't want to let it happen again, Kai." *smiles*
Me: "Thank you for your concern guys." - I gave them a sweet smile before I continued to eat my meal.
Well, of course, I can let to repeat what happened two years ago. I've already learned my lessons but, we cannot predict what will happen in the future.
*Sigh*
I shouldn't be stressing myself about it. I should start focusing first on our project this sem and yeah.. tomorrow will be another day.
[Next morning]
I woke up from the alarm, and I'm glad that I took enough sleep from last night. I get up and prepared myself to meet Ran-san at the location he sent to me last night. Well, I guess I should dress properly.
