3rd Person's POV
It's Friday and it's their acquaintance day. In the past days, Gulf kept on trying to talk to Mew but he just received death glares and shouts from him. Gulf just wanted to give up already but again with his determination that someday he will be friends with Mew, he didn't give up.
Gulf also kept cooking for the two of them but just like before Mew didn't touch any of it.
Gulf was heartbroken about how Mew was treating him. He wanted to question Mew but he was afraid to be shouted at again so he just kept quiet.
Whereas Mew was already pissed off with Gulf. Every night he just stared at those cooked foods for him and those notes that Gulf wrote to him. And in the morning he just ignored those greetings from Gulf.
Mew hates when Gulf keeps on greeting him and smiling at him even though he always shouts at him. Those smiles of Gulf never left his face and that is why he gets irritated. He spends more time with Emily, his current girlfriend, just to avoid Gulf at university and at home.
It's Friday morning and Gulf already got up and as usual he went to the bathroom to do his routine and went to the kitchen to cook food for the two of them.
Gulf waited for Mew to get down and as a few minutes passed he heard footsteps.
"Mew.. Good morning! Come and have your breakfast" he smiled but Mew just glared at him.
"Step aside..." Mew said coldly to Gulf.
Gulf didn't get what Mew said so he just looked at him innocently. But then Gulf just felt that he was harshly pushed away.
"I told you to step aside, are you deaf??!? Stupid...." Mew said as he went out.
Gulf was about to cry but he just looked up so that his tears wouldn't fall down.
He looked at his uniform that got stained when Mew pushed him.
He sighed and went to his room. He doesn't have a spare uniform so he just wore casual clothes. A white hoodie and pants.
He ran to his car and pulled his highest speed because he was already late.
And when he reached the university, he ran to his class.
"I'm sorry Teacher, I am l........late"
He huffed, but when he arrived in their room there was still no teacher, and his classmates were looking at him.
He was embarrassed and just bowed his head down and entered his classroom.
His friends patted his shoulder. "Hey, why are you late???" Mild was the first who asked him.
"Huhh.... nothing just I..... I didn't hear my alarm" he lied and smiled at them.
"And why are you in your casual clothes? Hmmm? Didn't the teacher say that we need to use our uniform for this day!??" Eye asked him, raising her brows.
"My uniform was stained and I don't have a spare one so I don't have a choice." He pouted and looked at them. Boat just giggled by the side and continued doing his work.
The teacher entered and checked their attendance and started teaching.
They only have a half day class because of the acquaintance that will be held in the evening. Everyone got excited about the party but Gulf just acted normal. Parties?? He has already got used to it. In his old school there is no month without having a party.
Acquaintance, Junior and Seniors prom, Victory Ball… Each and every month they always had one or another competition with other schools and most of the competitions, his school always won.
Gulf went home after the class and he dozed off. He set his alarm at 4 pm for his preparation.
From his deep sleep he was awakened by the ring of his alarm. He got up and went to his bathroom, he prepared a bubble bath and stayed in for next 30 mins.
He was humming while he got up from the bathtub. And went to his walk-in closet.
He pick an attire that was already prepared. It was all black as he loves black. He style his hair and put on his favorite perfume.
He smiled at the mirror and went downstairs. He didn't see Mew the whole day and he was wondering why.
He went to his car as it's almost 6 and drove off to the university.
Even though he reached the university he didn't get out of the car because he was nervous so he stay on his car for a minute until a ringtone disturbed him. It was Mild
Mild: Hey Gulf! Where are you now???
Gulf: I'm here in the parking lot, why?
Mild: Come to our usual place, we have already arrived.
Gulf sighed and looked out of the window. There were few students walking near by.
Gulf: Okay I'm coming..
Mild: Okay, we will wait for you here!
Gulf: Yeah… got it.
He ended the call and slowly went out. He is very nervous as this is his first time going to a party in his new university.
On the other side Mew is already sitting at their table with his friends and his current girlfriend. They were laughing and Mew kept flirting with Emily.
When he heard everybody gasping, he didn't mind at first but he went curious as to what made his friends to gasp and become silent. When he looked at his friends, they were looking in the direction of the entrance.
With curiosity he also looked and at the moment he was stunned. He saw a guy who was wearing an all black suit flashing a killer smile to everyone.
At the moment his heart beat fast and everything went slow motion as the guy walked in the red carpet.
He walked by their table and Mew couldn't stop himself from taking a lung full smell of the guy's perfume. It was sweet as candy and touched with a vanilla/rum flavor.
He flashed a slight smile at their table and walked past them.
Mew's POV
I didn't know why but my heart beat fast when I saw him at the entrance door. And it became faster when he walked past us. But I frowned when I saw at my friends looking at him and drooling, especially my cousin Noah.
I made a fake cough to get their attention back.
Noah looked at me and grinned.
"What??" I asked him.
"Ahhh just nothing..." he said and grinned more.
I just focused on the party. Getting to know each other. Most of them were already flirting with the juniors.
The music changed into a love song and my current girlfriend invited me to dance. I accepted and went to the center. Everyone was cheering us, teasing us and some of them envied us.
And a few students began to join us in the center. But my eyes were fixed to the two people dancing beside us.
I looked at them, they seems to enjoy the music. When the music changed again, our partners also changed.
Noah and I exchanged partners.
I saw Gulf hesitating to put his hands on mine but then I pulled him. I hold his hand and placed mine on his waist.
"Don't embarrass me here!" I said and that made him flinch. He didn't talk nor look at me. He kept looking on the sides.
We kept dancing but he didn't even look at me for a bit.
We reached halfway of the music when he spoke,
"M-my foot is already hurting c-can I go back to my seat now???" He whispered.
"Mm" I shortly answered and went out of the circle. I was about to send him to his table when he pulled his hand from mine and walked fast to their table.
There is a part of me that got hurt when he pulled his hands from mine. But I just shrugged off and went back to our table. I gulped a glass of wine and looked everywhere.
I spotted him again laughing with his friends. I raised my eyebrow when a girl clung onto his hand and her head was on his shoulder. He smiled at the girl and the girl giggled.
But I flinched when someone tapped me. "Mew you're killing them in your eyes. And the food is already murdered!" Noah whispered.
I glared at him and went out. I need fresh air. I don't know why I'm feeling this but one thing that I know is that I don't want this feeling, it's killing me.......
