Xie lian was taken aback with the response of the tall male , he couldn't help but smile , his smile felt pure .
" wait what is the Lian family's son doing with Hua Cheng? , do they know each other?"

Xie Lian definitely didn't like to be centre of attention , he always disliked it but since he was the only heir to a prestigious family, he somehow always caught attention. A visible scowl appeared on Xie Lian's face . Hua Cheng noticed this and sent death stares to all those gossiping , everyone felt a deep murderous intent from those bloody red eyes.
" don't pay mind to these scoundrels , they love gossiping." Hua Cheng said in a comforting tone.
Xie Lian lightly chuckled at the remark .
" Yeah , its fine , so how about we go ?" Xie Lian asked in a soft tone.

"So where are we going San Lang , you know that it's my treat right ?" Xie Lian affirmed.
" Of course I know , i am taking you someplace and how about you pay the bills?" Hua Cheng said while sightly smirking.

As they reached their respective destination , they were welcomed to an ethnic Chinese restaurant , the staff was definitely aware of Hua Cheng , it seemed he came there quite often.
The restaurant's whole aesthetic was based off an old tale of two lovers in the heavenly realm who cherished each other regardless of all the odds , the tale intrigued Hua Cheng.
" Welcome Sir Cheng , im assuming today you are here with you're lovely friend." One of the restaurant managers inquired.
" Yeah , well today i would prefer if you could make sure we sit somewhere a bit more discreet" Hua Cheng asked in a authoritative tone.

As both the young males followed the staff member , Xie Lian couldn't help but get fascinated by the picturesque , he could feel the beauty behind the artistic approach of this dining , the white marble flooring , the charismatic paintings of what seemed like two heavenly like beings , in each other's embrace. The heavenly aroma of this place was truly to look forward to , Xie Lian couldn't help but agree that Hua Cheng had a great knack for such alluring places.
As they both got seated in a more discreet place on Hua Cheng's instructions. Hua Cheng couldn't help but ask,
"Do you like this place? "
"you really are so mysterious San Lang , you know such magnificent places , i can't help but wonder what more you have on your plate." Xie lian responded in complete awe of the place.
" Haha , you flatter me Xie Lian , this is just a place i come to quite regularly , this place is inspired by an old tale which intrigues me." Hua Cheng replied.
"Oh really , what kind of tale?" Xie Lian asked in an eager tone.
" from as far I have heard from the staff , its about two beings in the heavenly realm who became lovers despite having all the odds against them, no matter how many barriers stood between them their love overcame them all." Hua Cheng replied in ever so invested tone.
Xie Lian found himself looking at Hua Cheng intently , he was seeing him so invested in something for the first time . He understood this tale really made an impact on him.
" San Lang you really make it obvious that you love art don't you ?"
"Well Do I? ive never taken someone to this place other than you." Hua Cheng replied.
Xie Lian couldn't help but smile , he felt an unexplainable joy knowing only, he knew this side of Hua Cheng.
" Well that's an honor , but you have to promise me that next time ill be taking you somewhere." Xie Lian affirmed.
" I got it your highness."
Xie Lian was taken aback with the sudden remark , why did Hua Cheng called him "your highness" , only Shi QingXuan ever called him by that nickname and he never called him your highness in front of Hua Cheng.
"why did you say your highness? " Xie Lian inquired in a nervous tone.
" well for starters , you definitely act like a prince , and aren't you like the only heir to a prestigious family , well that concludes it." Hua Cheng replied while slightly laughing.
" should i consider that as an insult or compliment." Xie Lian said.
" it's a compliment , i could never insult you."
hearing that Xie Lian's heart started beating faster and a slight blush appeared on his face , Hua Cheng couldn't help but laugh.
" okay so what would you like to have?" Hua Cheng asked.
"well i am coming here for the first time , why don't you recommend something ? ill have whatever you're having." Xie replied with a soft tone .
"All right , i won't disappoint you ."
"you never do." Xie Lian remarked.
Hua Cheng couldn't help but smile discreetly.
" San Lang thank you so much for taking me to that place , the food was delicious." Xie Lian said.
"I'm glad you liked it , but next time you have to let me pay." Hua Cheng replied while driving his way to Xie Lian's place.
" No , that's not gonna happen , you have already taken me to such gorgeous places , this is the least i could do."
" it was my pleasure." Hua Cheng replied in a soft tone.
Xie Lian could only wonder what this guy was doing to him , it's not even been a complete day since he had known him , yet he felt such comfort with him , he could tell him anything . He wanted to cherish all the moments he spent with him , all of his worries , stress just wanders away when he is with Hua Cheng , its as if all of his fears feared Hua Cheng .
He realized that Hua Cheng had became his catharsis .
