Chapter 77 (Coronation and Proclamation)
The days come and go so fast for the newlywed couples that it is almost like honeymoon time for them as the emperor did not allow anyone to call or disturb Zhan Xian and Wangyi's time. Thus, the bunny and the baby lion has been traveling to restaurants that are famous but maybe not well known, they usually dressed up as a somewhat middle-class citizen.
However, the beauty of Wangyi has always been a problem, when they entered a restaurant, people will usually drop their food on the table with their mouths apart. Sometimes, even the waiters dropping the kettle with hot water is not uncommon. Also, the eating will also be disturbed by men who don't know the height of the mountain and the depth of the oceans, who will come and want to take Wangyi away.
Thus, although, it is a two-person honeymoon, the Wu brothers follow along, with them dealing with all these rascals, the prince will just sit easily with his beloved wife watching people crawling and falling in pain.
Wangyi will just frown and asks the prince
"How many today?"
"Maybe more than yesterday by two, about twelve" Zhan Xian smiles in the restaurant and continues to sip his warm tea. He will usually calm his baby lion by saying
"Let the Wu brothers exercise their bones a bit" when the Wu brothers sometimes heard it, they will nod at the prince with a hearty smile.
To the Wu brothers, being able to protect Wangi, is a privilege for them. They were orphans taken in by the Cheng Tribes leader, Wangyi never treat them as servants but rather as friends. Wangyi then tilts her little head and asks
"Will it be too much trouble, do you want me to wear a veil" Wangyi frowns as every time, there will be some fighting show before meals during their so-called "honeymoon".
Zhan Xian shakes his head
"You are naturally beautiful and it is a gift from heaven, shouldn't hide those generous gifts" the proud crown prince holds Wangyi's hand and gently rubs it when he speaks. Such public displays make the two single dogs look away, now they are not very sure that following the couple is a good idea when they have to face such display every day.
Zhan Xian also brought Wangyi to all the beautiful sceneries and shopping. Wangyi is a simple girl in Cheng Tribes, although she is the grandchild of the leader, Wangyi does not pay much attention to that stuff but during the two weeks, she has been spoilt and pampered so much by Zhan Xian with all the gifts.
At the jewelry shops, these is their normal scenarios
"Ahhhh...too much," Wangyi told Zhan Xian, as she looks at the trays and trays of jewellery that Zhan Xian has shown her and wanted to buy for her.
"Wifey, I envision them on you, and each and every one of those jewelry looks good on you" Zhan Xian smiles as he told his wife, this is the honest opinion of his and he also told Wangyi
"You are my precious one, if I don't spoil you then who should I spoilt" every sweet word from Zhan Xian always makes Wangyi defenseless and lost her battle. She will just nod and smile with her loving eyes, accepting whatever spoilt Zhan Xian has brought for her.
"So many, I don't know what to wear every day" Wangyi thought is simple and innocent.
This gives the naughty bunny more idea into a beast
"You just decorate yourself with pieces of jewelry and nothing else" very softly the naughty bunny told his baby lion. Wangyi glares at him
"Noooooo...., I don't want to" Wangyi pouts as she already knew Zhan Xian's beasty stamina.
However, Zhan Xian already ordered the Wu brothers to pay and wrap up all the pieces of jewelry for his beloved Wangyi.
These are the days of their happy times.
However, during the last week, they both are busy with the preparation of the coronation of Zhan Xian and Wangyi as the Emperor and Empress.
Dressmakers were all busy trying on the clothes on Wangyi and Zhan Xian, even Jingyi and Wen Ning are all there to help to fit the beautifully designed new official clothing for the new emperor and empress.
For Zhan Xian, being the emperor of the Wei Country, the dragon on the official clothing that has the design of a lively dragon is inevitable. However, the naughty bunny prince today wanted something different from the norm. The norm is not him, as he wanted to be represented together with his baby lion. So, his official long overall coat has been decorated with one side dragon and another side phoenix. At first, the royal dressmaker who has been making exquisite clothing for the past emperors was shocked. These dressmakers are mastery that passes down from generation to generation and every piece of grown made were all recorded. Thus, there has never been an official grown that is so highly expected and watched that comes with both a dragon and a phoenix, and when the lost dressmaker which at this time, consist of an elderly old man and his three sons heard the design, they were a bit shocked, the elderly old man thought with his wisdom, he will try and kind of guard the new emperor, or crown prince now. The reply from the crown prince was
"Mmmmm....time for something new and refreshing, are you up to it?" the reply was such as questioning the elderly dressmaker capability, making the elderly man almost fall to his bottom. However, among the three sons, the youngest one is bright and smart, kind of enjoying some new ideas rather than the boredom of doing the same thing again and again, immediately slam his thigh and nods
"Sure! Looks like our crown prince will set some new trend, sure we can do it" the third son happily design them for the crown prince to take a look at.
Not only that, but Zhan Xian also instructed the dressmaker
"I want the empress official grown has a phoenix leaning on the dragon on both sides," Zhan Xian told the young dressmaker. Of course, another shock to the traditional old man who already sweats buckets, however, this time around, both the eldest and second sons holds the father down and signal him not to mouth a word, thus letting the youngest son handle the crown prince

The youngest dressmaker has a lively character and so he is even brave enough to smile and tell the crown prince
"It will showcase the deep love of the emperor for the empress" the young dressmaker kind of reflect the idea behind the empress's official grown.
"Yes!, make a few designs like these and then present them tomorrow for Wangyi and me to choose," the crown prince told the dressmaker and walks out of his inner room happily.
So, the official grown of the couple who are the next rulers are different from others, not only that there are also changes in the roles of his beloved Wangyi which the crown prince has given lots of thought into it, everything he did, there is only one motive, to make Wangyi happy.
The coronation not only has changes in their clothing but also the decoration and the venue. In the past years, all coronations were done very privately in the large main hall. Privately, in the sense that all the whole court officials of the Wei Country as well as invitations to some of the very reputable foreign delegate and loyal families.
However, Zhan Xian and Wangyi have input for these chances where the coronation not only held in the grand hall but also on the open space of the palace where the new couple will stand at the palace walls to wave to the citizen and walks a street down to build a relationship with the common citizen. Of course, this would also mean that security has to be very well organized which puts Xichen and Ming Ming in charge, whom they are also working with the Cheng Tribes where several of the top fighters have been invited to join in to witness the big day for the baby of Cheng Tribes "Wangyi" whom to them has always been in their hearts and souls as Wangyi is more of the Cheng Tribes than to the Lan General due to her long stay with them.
The decoration of course is thoroughly beautiful with a great touch of magnificence as the whole place is covered with red and gold decoration, signifying, prosperity, joy, happiness, and also the gold has always been strength and solidarity in the eyes of Wei Country people.
However, the night before the big day of the coronation, the royal family decided that they should have a family feat together which has been initiated by the present Empress mother Ching-er. Thus, all the family members will come together for a festive meal that has been specially ordered and prepared by Ching-er.
Dressing up in the room before the children arrive, Ching-er told her husband the present emperor
"It will be a nice family dinner, to go through the happenings to the two young future rulers of the country" Ching-er gently told the emperor.
The emperor smiles sweetly in his heart, this is the reason why he loves his dear wifey so much, other than her beauty and brain, she is the most considerate person that he has ever known.
"Mn, you are very considerate and kind" the emperor smiles at Ching-er
"Yes, I also thinking of that you should have a talk on restriction and restrains with you son, Zhan Xian" Ching-er steals a stare at her husband.
The emperor had a shock and those two words "Restriction and Restrain" sound like something serious, but as far as he knows, these two have been having their honeymoon period and had not done anything "bad" in any sense.
"Huh! What restriction and restrain?" the poor emperor stretch his head and still could get a clue what his beloved wife is talking about.
Ching-er glares at her husband
"Bed activities restriction and restrain for your son tonight as Wangyi needs to stand and parole tomorrow for nearly a whole day," Ching-er told her husband
"B-But, t-this kind of intrusive as Xian-er is a big boy now and I think he should know his limitation and knows how to differentiate the thickness and weight of the importance of tomorrow" the emperor tries to find his way out, too embarrassed to talk about such topic with his son.
"I-I also think, maybe you worry too much, Xian-er will put limits to it, don't worry, alright" the emperor tries to reason it out with his wife.
Ching-er slaps her husband shoulder
"What limit? Knowing you are the father, there will be no limit" Ching-er told her husband.
The emperor seems to feel a little guilty and he gently told her
"Why would you say that, huh?" the emperor asks his beloved gently
"Because Like Father like son, there will be no limit," Ching-er told the emperor.
The emperor is so shy and feeling uneasy now, he knew that he is also guilty, as there were of course occasions where his beloved has been required to attend functions, and yet the night before he still couldn't restrain himself.
"Don't worry, Xian-er is an improved version of me, hee hee" the emperor told his beloved.
Ching-er yells a little louder in exclamation
"Improved version!, meaning he might have more beasty energy than you," Ching-er told her husband and then exercise her wife authority
"Y-You have a talk with him, or maybe we have a talk together so that Wangyi knows as well" the emperor sweats buckets as this is more than leading the army to battle.
So, both Zhan Xian and Wangyi are called to the inner hall of the emperor and the empress. The empress always has a calm temperament and thus looking at her makes little Wangyi feels warm and she jumps about in front of her like a kid.
"Mother Empress!!!" Wangyi shouted with excitement, as for Wangyi, the empress is like her mother Cheng Ching, also because both of them same the commonality of being a ger, thus their relationship seems to gel the bonding relationship.
Wangyi hops onto Ching-er and hugs her warmly.
Ching-er smile sweetly at her and pats her little head
"Mmmm.... our yiyi seems to lost a bit of weight" Ching-er turns her around to looks at her tiny waist and check on her pale white snowy skin.
Zhan Xian immediately steps in with worry.....
"We went to eat in great restaurants...maybe Yiyi is someone that has been blessed from heaven that no matter how much she eats, she does not grow meat" Zhan Xian immediately tries to ensure his mother that he took great care of his baby lion.
Wangyi is innocent as ever and agrees with Zhan Xian by nodding her head and that gives Zhan Xian great relief, everyone knew how much the empress loves Wangyi like her own child.
"Did you feel tired, going out the whole day?" Ching-er asks with a caring and gentle voice
Wangyi smiles and leans in her head onto Ching-er shoulder
"Mn, can be a little tire but very enjoyable and fun!" Wangyi told Ching-er with her sparkling eyes
Ching-er then eyed her husband to talk to Zhan, but the emperor pretends that he did not see his wife signal and continued to smile like a fool in a daze.
Ching-er then continue with Wangyi
"Make sure that you rest well at night, don't overwork day and night" Ching-er told Wangyi but her fierce eyes dart towards Zhan Xian and also her own coward husband.
Now, those eyes are fierce and scary for the emperor, maybe tonight will be sleeping in the study room if he continues to act silly, so the emperor faked a cough
"Ahem!!!! Son, tomorrow Yiyi needs to stand almost the whole day" the emperor told Zhan Xian and deep in his heart hoping that his son will get the hint but Zhan Xian just nods with the agreement and does not show any signs of understanding.
Ching-er then steps in as she doesn't want to drag too long
"So, you need restriction and restrain in place!" the empress speaks sharply and precisely to her son.
Zhan Xian looks blur in his eyes when his mother told him and his eyes seems to be like seeking clarification.
Ching-er got angry and steps on the emperor's foot with heavy stomps
"Oochhh...got it!, got it!" the emperor hops about in two steps and then steady himself and he turns to Zhan Xian and swing his own arm around him and told him softly
"Your mother means your bed exercises need to restrain tonight" the emperor speaks not too loudly but could be heard by anyone in the room.
Immediately, red spread all over Zhan Xian face and he hung his head low and the emperor now whisper so softly almost to his ears that only both of them can hear
"Hard as it is but you do it tonight, alright" the kid and compassionate eyes seem to tell Zhan Xian that they are in the same boat and so he understands. Zhan Xian looks at his beloved and he knew that he needs to control his beasty desire tonight for the sake of his loving baby lion. So with a difficult and hard decision, he nods to his father with affirmation.
The emperor winks at his wife telling her that this matter is all settled. Ching-er then sighs relief and smiles at the cute Wangyi and continues to pat her little head.
Wangyi seems to understand what they are talking about and suddenly she exclaims and claps her hands
"Thank you Empress mother, you are the best," Wangyi told Ching-er
The emperor seems to get a bit jealous
"I also help, alright!" the emperor pouts for his old age
Wangyi tilts her little head and asks
"Like father like son, so it must have been inherited from the great and mighty emperor of Wei Country," Wangyi told everyone and all of them laughs.
The day has arrived, the day that Wei Country sees the change of their ruler, the day the commoner has a chance to see the real face of the emperor and his empress.
Rumors that been spreading like wildfire, of how much the emperor loves his empress and how beautiful and capable the empress is. These all have been witnessed by the servants of the palace who saw all the challengers and fights during the festivals days and the wedding day of Wangyi and Zhan Xian. There is nothing that can spread faster than human mouths at that time, (Although they don't have internet, in fact, this spread faster because the people at that time have more free time, and thus gossiping is a must rather than watching the news daily now. hahaha – Author imagination).
The commoner has searched high and low for their best clothes to wear and wait to see the emperor and his empress making their walks. Friends from all over travel to Wei Country's capital. The Blue Mountains friends and Cheng Tribes are friends of the Lan Mansion and they are being hosted by the General. The Lan Mansion is also very lively and noisy with all the children waiting anxiously to see their good friends Zhan Xian and Wangyi.
Zhan Xian has done a marvelous job of restriction and restrains, as he took about 3 cold showers and sleep with Wangyi cuddling, to Zhan Xian, this is worst than battling and he is thankful that this is only once in a lifetime that he has restriction and restrain in place. Thus, Wangyi woke up refreshed and full of vitality. Not sure about Zhan Xian as he did not have his usual dose last night.
Inside, Zhan Xian and Wangyi's inner room, their personal servants like Jingyi and Wen Ning are helping the future emperor and empress to dress up.
"My head has too many pieces of jewelry, I don't want too many, too heavy" Wangyi pouts when Jingyi tries to add another hairpin
Immediately, Zhan Xian comes around and eyed Jingyi
"Take it out, don't add any more" Zhan Xian instructs as he doesn't want any discomfort in Wangyi
Immediately, Jingyi bows and smile and took out two heavy hairpins from Wangyi's head.
"I don't want to wear so many necklaces, I only want to wear the one from mother," Wangyi told Jingyi and Zhan Xian again nods his head to Jingyi
So, all the necklaces are removed, only the one from Cheng Ching sits proudly on Wangyi's neck.
Zhan Xian looks at his beloved baby lion, there is absolutely no one more beautiful and cute than her, there is very little make-up on her because she is a natural beauty, the grown fit perfectly on Wangyi, and her slim waist has been emphases. The grown with the dragon and phoenix makes Zhan Xian happy. Also, Wangyi added small lion and bunny figures on their belts as well as on the long sleeves.
Zhan Xian looks tall and majestic, his broad chest has been tightened fit to show off his young and slim body. Zhan Xian also has a very tiny waist and long legs, the grown of both the dragon and phoenix fit well on his handsome body.
Finally, both of them stand together, Wen Ning and Jingyi claps their hands and smiles
"Wow, Handsome and beautiful!" Wen Ning exclaims in joy
"Mn, best match in heaven" Jingyi joins in
Together, Zhan Xian and Wangyi walk out to join the awaiting emperor and Ching-er, together with the royal families of Zhan Ang and Ming Ming.
The announcement from the chief eunuch starts the ceremony
"The coronation of the Wei Country Emperor and Empress begins now" the loud and clear voice of the Chief eunuch draws the attention of every man and woman.
Slowly, income the royal family, walking ahead, the present Emperor and Empress, follows on Zhan Ang and Ming Ming.
After that, the Chief Eunuch shouted Wei Zhan Xian and Lan Wangyi, of course, the voices and shouting were as
"Wow!!!!! So beautiful and so handsome"
"Match in Heaven"
Zhan Xian, lift up his hands and he holds onto Wangyi's hand very gently and they both smile and nod at everyone, trying to thank everyone for their presence with their nods and smiles.
After that the official ceremony of handing over begins, there were blessings from the official priest where an official prayer for the couple and also blessings for the national prayer begins.
The Emperor and Ching-er are still standing on the throne, while Zhan Xian and Wangyi receive their blessings, after that the emperor hands over the seal of the emperor to Zhan Xian and holds up his hand, and announce himself
"The new emperor, Wei Zhan Xian"
While Ching-er holds up Wangyi's hand
"The new empress, Wei Wangyi"
Immediately, loud claps and cheering echoed the whole inner halls.
After that everyone greets the new emperor and empress
"Long live the Emperor and his empress!"
Wei Zhan Xian stands up and gives his speech
"Thank you for all your kind support. I will always put in my best effort for the country and its people, in order to do that, all my officials and friends from overseas, play an important role in it. As a new emperor, there will be a few changes that I like to effect immediately" Wei Zhan Xian the new emperor announces and all the officials hold their breath, all worrying about their official job, thinking that either they are dismissed or promoted, as this has been done by some of the emperors during their coronation.
Zhan Xian knew what is going on in their heart but he is not bothered, he just looks at Wangyi with his loving eyes and then he announces
"I believe that all birth is blessed by heaven, no matter what genders they are, they all have a light in the world and thus, we should always let this designated light from Heaven be able to light up the world, so there will be no gender differences from today onwards for the gers, they will be treated equals as the male and female" Zhan Xian announces and the whole hall roars
"This is the first decree from me" continue Zhan Xian
The reactions are surprisingly pleasants as such words as
"Thank goodness, finally my ger child can come home to live with me"
"Wow!!!! Actually, my wife is a ger"
"Wow!!!!, my sister is a ger, and she suffers a lot"
After that, Zhan Xian stands up with Wangyi and looks at her, without any words, Wangyi knew his intention and she nods.
"As you all can see from the uprising led by the former crown prince, she came up with the strategies plan and it was a total win, and peace was restored. I am honored to be able to marry her and she is a GER".
Wangyi stands up proudly beside her loving husband, the emperor, and smiles. There is no fear and worry of unacceptance, as she stands tall and smiles towards her parents and grandparents knowing how much they love her and the support from them and her husband makes her feel loved.
Immediately, the hall claps and cheer Wangyi on
"What a great and wonderful ger, so beautiful"
"If I am younger and see such a beautiful ger, I will also take her as my wife"
"Yes, ger is also human, why discriminate against them"
Suddenly, the former emperor holds onto his beloved wife and stand besdie Wangyi as support and also make an announcement
"My wife Wei Ching-er is also a ger" former emperor Wei Zong announces
Another, roar of claps and cheers from everyone
Zhan Xian then continues
"There will be only one wife for me, so there will not be any harem. So please don't ever introduce any women or ger to me, as this will be disrespectful to my beloved empress and I will not allow it" the statement is loud and clear to everyone.
Next, Zhan Xian also announces
"Your empress is such a talented strategy and thus, she will rule the country together with me in court" Zhan Xian announces with pride and love for his beloved Wangyi.
This is the first time in the history of Wei Country that the empress is allowed in court, however, everyone nods and cheers on knowing how smart and clever Wangyi is.
Great Grand Elder is someone that everyone has high respect for and he then moves towards Wei Zhan Xian and Lan Wangyi and shouted
"The Wei Country Emperor and Empress are no ordinary humans, they are the DESTINY FIGHTERS, they will fight for their own destinies and will continue to fight for the people of Wei Country destiny of prosperity and peace".
This time around, everyone takes up their cups and cheer to the speech from the Great Grand Elder.
After that the royal couple walks towards the palace gate and greets the people outside, they are not alone as they are followed behind by all the Wei Country Court officials and also Cheng Tribes. It is the first time that the Wei Country has a glimpse of the country's emperor and empress as well as all the court officials, walking and nodding to people showing their sincerity and hearts to work for the country's welfare.
The commoners were all so happy and cheered non-stop, there are also tears in their eyes, as what the emperor has announced were repeated to them, those gers who were sufferings together with their family members were bowing and some even kowtow to the emperor for the rule changes. Those gers and family members no longer have to be ashamed.
To their amazement, most of them are waving flags of lion and bunny, which makes Zhan Xian and Wangyi smiles sweetly in their hearts, the commoners heard of their flags in the battle and are now using those flags to cheer on their new emperor and empress.
After that, the emperor and empress walk back to their palace but they went up to the palace walls and wave at the people again.
Among those cheers and shouting, Zhan Xian leans onto Wangyi's ear
"Are you happy my baobei's wife" Zhan Xian asks very gently and softly, those lips already touching his wife's ears lobe and even taking advantage of it to give it a light kiss.
With so many eyes watching from below and behind, Wangyi is a little shy and she just nods and hummed to Zhan Xian
"Mn"
Then, Zhan Xian smiles at her and leans in again
"You have to reward me tonight," the naughty bunny told the baby lion
Wangyi freezes.
