E Z M I E
Boring, is the only word that can ever be used to describe hell- sorry I meant school.
It was first lesson which just so happened to be English, I sat next to Luke turns out he had this lesson with me while our friends had English with another teacher.
It had been a few days since I fainted and the whole meal fiasco, Alex and Kayden didn't ask any questions but I know their dying to know.
I haven't seen or heard from Matîs since that day and I'm hoping it stays like that, he was suppose to be out my life for good now.
"Ezmie" the teacher called out
"Yes" I asked skeptically knowing I wasn't listening
"Pay attention" she scolded to which I nodded but then didn't
"And you says she likes you" Luke laughed quietly
"She does" I protested
"Sure what ever you say" he replied rolling his eyes
The bell finally rang after what felt like hours, I quickly packed my stuff together not even waiting for anyone else.
"Ez" Luke shouted
I groaned and turned around, he was smirking walking closer to me.
"Yes Luke" I asked incredibly bored
"Your phone" he laughed giving me my phone
"Oh, thank you" I smiled walking away

The annoying sound of the bell echoed around the halls, as chatter got louder when i walked into the lunch hall.
I walked over to my friends table, everyone was already sat and indulging into conversation.
I sat staring at the window not paying any attention, my mind was still bombarding with questions.
Why is he back
Do my family know
Is Ashley even dead
Why did they have guns when I got kidnapped
Should I have ice cream when I get home
As you can see I have very important thoughts, well that was until someone clicked in front of my face.
"Can I help you Kaiya" I asked
"Actually yes you can" she said
I looked at her with my eyebrow rose insinuating for her to carry on.
"We're going out later, you in?" She asked pointing at everyone else
"I'll have to ask" I shrugged
Inside I was feeling excited this would be the first time I would be going out with friends.
I glanced over at my brothers and cousins who were sitting laughing with their friends.
Sighing I got up and walked over to their table, none of them noticed me yet so I decided to scare them.
Well Cassius more than anyone
Cohan spotted me but I signalled for him to not say anything, I slowly brought my hands up to Cassius head and....
SMACK
The sound echoed while his friends and our cousins started laughing, he looked around trying to find out who did it but I ran over to Cohan.
"Hey guys" i chirped like I didn't just hurt my brother
"Cassius what's wrong" I asked sounding concerned
"Nothing Ez, are you okay" he asked still rubbing his head
At that point we all lost it and started laughing while Cassius looked confused.
"I'm sorry" I apologised
"It's fine Ez, what's up anyway" he sighed
"Oh yeah, can I go out with my friends after school please" I asked using my puppy eyes
Cassius and Kyson both looked at Cohan who was trying not to look at me, he sighed and gave in luckily.
I walked back over to my table and told my friends I could go which made me happy for the rest of the day.

Last lesson was always my favourite it was art, my friends and I all had the same teacher so we had the same lesson.
Mason and Ansley sat by each other usually flirting, Kai and Jude sat next to each other and Mackaiya ditched me for Lexi leaving me sitting next to Luke.
The whole lesson was full of laughter coming from our table but mainly me and Luke, we were a funny duo.
"Now class, I'm excited to announce your doing a project" our teacher informed us
Some students groaned and snicked while i remained expressionless waiting for him to finish
"You will be working in pairs, with the person sat next to you" he finished off
I looked over to Luke who was already smiling at me.
"Your place or mine" he asked
"Mine, otherwise my brothers will go into over protective mode" I laughed slightly and he just nodded.

The music boomed through the speaker as we walked into the bowling area, we had pre paid and changed our shoes and were ready.
"Should we play teams, solo or duos" Lexi asked
"Boys versus girls" Kai beamed
"No, no way Malakai Tobias Black" Mackaiya scolded her brother
"Damn she pulled out the government" Ansley laughed
"I know you aren't talking Ansley Rebeca Miller" Mason laughed
Lexi, Luke and I all looked at each other before bursting out into laughed our selves causing everyone to laugh.
"Just do duo's" Lexi suggested
"Yeah but who's with who" I asked
"Art partners" Mason suggested
"Okay" we agreed
Ansley and Mason went first, he was gripping her waist guiding her on how to hold it. Her checks were painted pink with blush afterwards.
She got a strike luckily while Mason only got a spare but it was still good none the less.
Kai and Jude also did well, they both got spares but was happy with them selves. The same with Lexi and Mackaiya, who were just gigging at each other.

"Luke you better get a strike" I warned glaring softly
"You can't glare" he scoffed playfully
"Just throw the damn ball" I sighed getting impatient
They said as I'm the youngest I had to go last, which is totally barbaric if you ask me but Luke said he would rather go last.
I watched the ball roll slowly to the pins knocking them over slowly until he got a strike.
"You were saying" he smirked
"Your so cocky" I grinned waking up to the place
I grabbed the bowling ball and walked slowly debating on my strategy, this was my first time bowling so I knew I would suck.
"Ezmie, you want some help" Lexi asked laughing
"Nah I've got this babes" I giggled
I brought the ball behind me before swinging my arm forwards and letting go of the ball.
It charges towards the pins knocking them down at once, my eyes winded once I realised I got a strike.
"Boo yeah!" I laughed
"Well done Ez" Luke beamed

Bowling was great fun, some how Kai and Jude won with me and Luke coming close in second place.
We were currently eating in McDonald's, before leaving to go back home after our fun trip.
"This was fun" i announced
"It was, you guys are more fun than our American friends" Lexi admitted
"True" Luke agreed
"Honestly Ez you were so good and you've never played before" Jude gushed
"Nope never played before" I giggled
The conversation carried on flowing as we ate our meals and talked about anything that came to mind.
"Ez how come you have a different accent to your brothers" Ansley asked all of a sudden
"I was born here but grew up in Liverpool" I smiled not telling them the full truth
"Wait your a scouser" Mason fake gagged
"Aye, I am" I giggled
"Say chicken and a can of a coke" Kai spoke
"Chicken and a can of coke" I said adding a heavier accent on
"Eww never talk like that again" Luke laughed
"Why you didn't like it" I questioned in the same scouser accent
"No it was awful" Mackaiya spoke with everyone agreeing

Arriving home it was loud, I walked in to the dining room where my whole family where gathered eating.
"Wow eating without me i see how it is" I fake cried
"Jesus Ez you scared the living shit out of me" Asher laughed before getting scolded
"Are you hungry sweetie" my Nan asked
"I'm good I've already eaten" I smiled sitting next to Carter who smiled down at me
"How was your night princess" my dad asked
"It was so much fun" i gushed thinking about my night
"Tell us about it Ezmie" Noah encouraged
"Are you sure" I asked uncertain
He nodded and I began rambling about how much fun I had with my friends and told them about my project with Luke which they weren't to happy about, leaving his name out on purpose.
That night i went to bed feeling happy, a feeling I haven't felt in a very long time. I was enjoying life.
It didn't last for long....
