2 minutes-
Faythe dusted her hands off from the pile of bodies behind her. She flicked her head to the side to get a strand of hair out of her face, "Now..! Let's go catch up to Usopp and Vivi shall we?" She sprinted off back into the fray where she last saw them run off.
"They can't be that far with Usopp's injury and the continuous fighting with random fighters.." Faythe muttered to herself as she leaped over a sword that tried to strike her, "Oh! I can also do that..!" She smiled. Grabbing hold of a Royalist's spear, she swung herself ontop of a person's head and leaped to another's shoulder. She continued this for a while now until she saw Nami and Chopper running towards her group.
"They're here!" Nami shouted, as she rode on top of Chopper's reindeer form, "Vivi! Usopp!" She gained they're attention fast.
"Nami! Tony!" Vivi waved them over as they continued to run.
Nami leaped off Chopper's back and ran to catch up with them, "What's going on!? The marines helped us get here!"
Chopper was right behind Nami's lead as he said, "Is the bomb here!?"
"No, but I'm sure I know where it is! Considering this planned-dust storm, the place has to be close enough where it's impossible to miss..! It also has to be big enough to house a bomb but not be visible from the sky!" Vivi took a moment to breathe before she continued, "It's been staring me in the face all along but it took me forever to realize it! It was in our blind spot! There's no other place it could be at!" She raised her pointer finger at the looming tower that sat right in front of the battlefield, "IT'S INSIDE THE CLOCK TOWER!"
"WHA?" Chopper stared wide eyed at the tower in their view.
"The clock tower!?" Nami questioned with a pale expression.
"You're right! You'd have a clear shot at the palace square from up there!"
1 minute-
"GUYS!" Faythe shouted out as she kneed someone is the jaw as they got close to Nami.
"FAE!" Nami yelled surprised.
"Yep, me! Now don't space out like that! We're still in a battlefield!" Faythe flicked the orange haired girl.
"Glad of you to make it!" Usopp gave her a thumbs up.
"Me too! But all this guarding and fighting is wearing me out.." Faythe leaned on her knees to take a breather.
"I know right..!" Chopper panted.
"Anyways! How are we supposed to get up there.." Faythe pointed to the very tall tower.
"Ya we can't climb all the way up there in just one minute!"
"I was planning to rely on pell's help but..."
"What about Faythe!" Usopp added.
"I can't transform because of the injuries. I can't start off the ground with just my wings either because of the weight. Imma need some help flying up there." Faythe explained quickly.
"HEY!"
"huh?" Vivi and the rest turned to see Sanji peeking out a window in the tower.
"Nami! VIVIIII! FAYTHE-CHAN!!!" Sanji waved at the ladies in the group.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING UP THERE!?"
Sanji looked down from the window and frowned confused at the exclamation, "What do you mean 'what am I doing up here?' You left a message by the smoke signal! It read 'Clock Tower' so here I am."
"Man he's fast..." Faythe muttered.
"So what do I do now!? Where's the bomber!?" Sanji shouted down at them.
"THE TOP, THE TOP! Just keep heading all the way up to the top!" Usopp shouted back.
"Hm?" A voice grunted out above Sanji, catching everyone's attention.
"Pfft! This flaw of his is like a fucken teleporter for him." Faythe busted out laughing.
"HEY! I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU GUYS!" Zoro shouted out like they were the ones that got lost.
"YOU'RE UP THERE TOO, ZORO!?" Vivi called out surprised.
"What're you guys doing down there?" He muttered out loud.
"THAT'S WHAT I WANNA ASK!" Usopp shouted annoyed.
"Well the marines kept telling me, 'Head North, head North,' So I thought I should climb up here..." Zoro explained.
"DO YOU EVEN KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 'NORTH' AND 'UP'!?" Usopp was beyond done with this man.
"HAHAHAHAhAHAHA!" Faythe was on the ground laughing up a storm.
Usopp was trying to congratulate the lad but Vivi had to dampen the mood, "It's no good..."
"WHAT!?" Usopp whipped his head towards the blunette.
"You can't head inside the clock tower from where those two are at. To get to the top of the clock tower, you have to use the special staircase located on the first floor!"
"But... If it's Zoro, then he could just break through the tower's wall and..." Usopp was thinking on max speed along with the rest.
"Wouldn't that tip the tower and make it come crumbling down along with Zoro and Sanji!?" Faythe added.
"All that impact might cause the bomb to go off though!" Nami huffed.
"There's no other choice but to use the stairs!" Vivi was about to run straight in but Faythe held onto her arm as Nami's face lit up.
"I HAVE A PLAN!" Nami pointed out.
"Rrriiibbit ribbit ribbit!"
"Ohohohoho!"
Faythe and the rest of the crew looked up to see the Tower's clock open up to see two figures there.
"The fuck..!" Faythe's eye twitched.
The two figures began speaking to another as the crew could hear them, "Mr. 7, listen! I know something! This is our final assignment!"
"Ohohohoho! Yes, I'd assess so too! Ohohohoho! In just 30 more seconds, I'd assess! Ohohohoho!"
"Rrribbit ribbit ribbit!"
The ribbit lady was wearing almost everything that was a frog design with her purple bangs peeking out of her freaky frog legged hat. while her partner stood beside her in a frilly gold lined coat that had the emblem of a 7 all over them.
"WHO'RE THOSE TWO!?" Nami shouted.
"MR.7!?" Vivi said growing pale.
"Ewwww...!" Faythe shuddered away, "They look fucken ughhh.. They're cloths don't even suit them..." She felt like she was going to puke at the colors that clashed against each other.
"15 seconds leeeeefffttt! Ohohohoho!"
"Target: Center of the Palace Square! Ribbit ribbit!" The frog lady cheered, "Light the fuse!"
Chopper was using his antler mode and Usopp was using his slingshot skills with Vivi secured on Faythe's back.
"Are you ready guys!" Usopp questioned as he strained his broken arms trying to pull the elastic string.
"Whenever Vivi is!" Faythe shouted back, her arms spread out into her wings.
"Nami are you done!?" Vivi looked back at the female as she was behind them with her staff out.
"Imma use my power to help boost you guys!"
"Okay...! Ready!" Vivi called out. Just as she said those words, Faythe was shot forward into the sky but it wasn't enough to get them far with the weight.
"Nami! How's that boost coming!" Faythe called back.
"On the way!" Nami threw part of her staff under the girls and a gust of air shot them higher into the air.
"What!? They're coming up!" Sanji said worriedly.
"FAE! When you get to Sanji's level, use him to propel upward!" Nami shouted.
"Don't tell me... Her plan is to keep on flying up directly like this!?" Vivi questioned not believing such a crazy plan would work.
"ALRIGHTY! We got this in one go!" Faythe shouted excitedly. Her wings flapping against the wind to keep them up.
"SANJI! YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO RIGHT! WE DON'T HAVE ANY TIME LEFT!" Nami shouted from below.
"Yeah, I think I got the gist of the plan..." Sanji jumped onto the window sill and prepared for Faythe and Vivi's appearance, "Fine! I guess I've got no other choice...!"
"Let's keep going up!" Faythe hunched up her legs preparing for Sanji's boost.
Sanji leaped out the window and lifted his right leg out, "GET ON MY LEG!" He shouted hurriedly. Faythe used her talon feet to attach herself on the leg so he could get a good swing.
As she was swung upward Faythe called out to Chopper, "Make sure to catch Sanji!" She tightened her wings close to her body so the wind current wouldn't slow them down.
"All YOURS NOW, ZORO!" Sanji fist pumped the air to see the amount of space they covered in a short time.
Zoro looked up the tower and got the plan instantly, "Looks like, I've gotta throw them all the way up to the top." He sighed and unsheathed his swords.
"Zoro!" Faythe called out getting his attention. Her wings were getting heavy by the moment.
"Leave it to me!" Zoro leaped off his platform and went under the two, "I'll send you with the back of my blades!"
"Of course you are!" Faythe couldn't help but snicker at the swordsmen. She landed on the backside of the swords with her talons once again.
"Watch out Faythe, Vivi. There're some weirdos up there!" Zoro warned.
"Yes, I recognize them!" Vivi nodded.
"They sure are ugly weirdos..." Faythe muttered.
"Hmm?"
The two officers looked down from the clock, "Ohohoho!? Ms. Wednesday!"
"Shit!" Zoro and Faythe muttered at the same time.
"Ribbit ribbit! I know you're te one who betrayed our organization!" The frog lady grinned.
"Oh no..." Vivi went dead blank as they wee gonna have to fight they're way up.
"THEY NOTICED THEM!" Nami shrieked in worry.
"OH CRAP! WE'RE SITTING DUCKS HERE IN THE AIR! IF THEY SHOOT US NOW THEN...!" Zoro was now panicking.
"Adjust! Ribbit Ribbit Gun!" The frog lady pointed a weird frog cannon launcher at them, "What an unexpected windfall!"
The officer Mr. 7 pointed a pistol as well, "Adjust! Yellow Gun! Ohohoho! Such an easy prey!"
"How dare you point your guns at Vivi and Faythe-chan!" you could hear Sanji's threat in the air as he fell.
"Oh no! That's the sniper-duo!" Vivi explained.
"Vivi! Your forgetful manner might as well kill us here!" Faythe gritted her teeth.
"FAYTHE! I'M GONNA LAUNCH YOU OFF SO IT'S UP TO YOU!" Zoro shouted quickly as he squared up his muscles and pushed them upward. Just as they were launched forward, the pistols shot their little bombs.
"GOOOO!" Zoro shouted.
"Hey listen! The bullets for our guns, explode when they bump into eachother!" The duo laughed as the bullets were getting closer.
"ZORO!" Faythe shouted and swung her feathered wing towards the bullets, "Sharpen! Shoot!" The sharpened feather shot towards the bullets and exploded only inches from Zoro.
"Phew..!" Vivi sighed out in relief.
5 seconds left-
The duo then turned they're attention towards Vivi and Faythe and aimed their pistols towards them, "You sniveling, little bird!" The frog lady hissed.
"Run as you might, it's all futile! Ohohohoho!" They cackled together.
"SMASH!" They're bullets were shot.
"Faythe!" Vivi called out, gripping the girl's shoulder.
"I KNOW!" Faythe twirled to the side using her injured wing to redirect they're spot, dodging the bullets barely, Gliding down into the clock.
3 seconds left-
"GOOOOOO!" The crew shouted.
Faythe ducked down so Vivi could use her weapon, "PEACOCK STRING!" The weapon slung at them but they both ducked, "SLASHER."
"NOW!" Faythe launched Vivi ahead of her towards the bomb.
2 seconds left-
"Ribbit ribbit! Too bad, so sad!" Frog lady pointed her pistol at the princess, along with her partner, "You missed!"
"You aren't her opponent!" Faythe stood back to back with Vivi as she ran forward to stop the lighted string.
1 second left-
Faythe dodged another fired bullet and hook Mr. 7 in the jaw while side kicking the frog lady out of the clock tower. She turned around to see Vivi had disarmed the bomb's fuse.
But she didn't understand why there was a ticking noise still going.
"Vivi..." Faythe slowly walked towards the end on the cannon and took a look inside, her face paling quickly, "You might wanna take a look at this..."
"What.. Didn't we sto-" Vivi's voice was caught in her throat as she looked inside, only to find a timer, "You have to be kidding me..!" She hurried over to the clock's open lid and shouted down to the crew.
"THE BOMB... IS ON A TIMER!"
