By RaynaIves

Eden spent the next two weeks in Banner Elk or, as the Winchesters had opted to call it; 'Vamp Town'. She was almost powered back up again, being able to use her healing and telekinetic powers, but not much else.
A call from Mary changed her 'Mayor of Vamp Town' plans.
She'd asked that they all meet at a diner to help with another Hunter's case. Of course, Eden agreed.
She'd arrived in the parking lot just as Sam and Dean were greeting their mother and being introduced to her Hunter friend; Wally.
"These are my sons." She said as Eden walked up. "And this is Eden, the sort-of Angel I was telling you about."
"Mom..." Dean scoffed.
"I can handle 'sort-of Angel'. I'll take that over Light Angel, any day, uppity arseholes. Don't tell Pigeon. Hi, Wally, it's good to meet you." Eden smirked, shaking his hand.
"Hey." Sam smiled, wrapping an arm round her waist as he pulled her in for a deep kiss.
"Hello, stranger. Careful how you kiss me, my boyfriend might see." She chuckled lowly against his mouth, earning a smile back.
"Best scoop you away before anything bad happens then." He mumbled.
"Oh, but the bad stuff's just part of the fun." Eden cocked a brow. "You look exhausted. Haven't you been sleeping?"
"Thank you." He scoffed. "I just miss you. It's not the same without you next to me."
"Alright, you two. Put each other down, I know it's been a while, but Hell, you're gunna put me off my food." Dean scrunched up his nose.
"Yeah, like anything could do that." Sam laughed, kissing Eden's temple once more before he unwrapped his arm from her waist, moving it to her shoulders.
"How's the powers coming along, Vampy Pants?" The older brother asked.
"Got healing and telekinesis down, but the rest is still a bit... Eh." She shrugged.
"Well, they're debatably the most important ones." Mary commented, earning a nod.
"Teleportation would be nice, though." Eden chuckled.
"Cas." Dean greeted as the Angel walked up.
"Thanks for coming, I know you're really busy." Mary said.
"Well, not really." Cas shrugged.
"What, no luck with Lucifer's kid?" Sam asked.
"No, Kelly Kline, it's like she's just... Disappeared." Cas sighed.
"Lucifer's kid. That's a joke, right?" Wally gave a nervous laugh, but soon stopped when he noticed everyone's faces. "It's not a joke?"
"Alright ramblers, let's get rambling." Dean turned, walking away towards the diner entrance.

"Mandy. Is that short for Amanda?" Dean obviously flirted with the waitress.
"Duh." The waitress replied, already rather bored of him.
"Yeah. I'll go for a cheeseburger." He said, closing his menu and ceasing his attempts with her.
"Hey, uh, what's the Wi-Fi password here?" Sam asked, tablet in hand.
"Extra cheese." Mandy told him.
"No, no, just as it is, is fine." Dean said.
"That's the password. Extra cheese."
"That sounds good, I'm gunna change mine to a cheeseburger as well." Wally spoke up. "I wanna carb-load."
"Cheese isn't a carb." Mandy, Dean, Castiel and Eden all said at once, except Cas said the full 'carbohydrate', earning a flirtatious glance from the waitress.
"Steak and Eggs, bloody." Mary spoke up.
Next, Mandy looked to Eden.
"Uh, nothing for me, thanks." The Dark Angel gave an awkward smile.
The waitress' flirtatious eyes returned when they landed on Cas.
"And how about you, handsome?" She smirked.
Everyone looked to Cas with mildly surprise stares, besides Eden who simply looked entertained.
"Uh... A... Sunrise special, please." Cas stuttered.
"Nice." Mandy smiled, noting it down and walking off.
"Oh, dude, she is into you." Dean commented, leaning forward at the circular table. Wally gave a hum in agreement.
"Dean." Mary warned.
"No, this is good. We've been looking for teachable moments, this is..." He trailed off, clicking his tongue.
As Mary's phone buzzed in her pocket and everyone went back to minding their own business, Cas leaned over towards Eden.
"What do I do?" He whispered.
"To what?" Eden frowned.
"To... Give a flirtation." He mumbled.
Eden desperately stifled a laugh as an amused glint sparkled in her eye.
"Just ask her if she's doing anything after work or something. Make her feel like you want to spend time with her." She replied. "You know, like you do with Dean all the time."
Cas gave a small nod, sitting up properly again.
"The internet here sucks." Sam grumbled. "I downloaded all the Bunker's files to a new archive, but-"
"Oh, snore, nobody cares." Dean rolled his eyes, leaning across the table. "Cas, here's the thing you need to know about waitresses, okay? They get hit on all day long, so you gotta bring you're A-game. But, upside, they always smell like food."
"They always smell like food." Wally nodded, wagging a finger at Dean.
"Why is the upside they smell like food?" Sam narrowed his eyes.
"Because-"
"Hey!" Mary raised her voice. "Screens down, eyes up. Shut up."
"Sorry, mom." Sam quickly said.
"Sorry, Mary." Wally mumbled.
"Okay, here's what we know." Mary addressed the table. "Our target keeps a tight schedule. He leaves every day at eight PM and gets back at exactly ten forty-five."
"What's he doing?" Dean asked.
"Night fishing." Wally replied, sipping his coffee.
"Wait, you called us to kill a Demon that likes to fish?" Cas frowned.
"Yes, I did." Wally nodded. "Look, guys, this is all new to me. You got a Rugaru problem, bam, I'm your guy. But, Demons? Hell... Look, I was just passing through and I heard about some cattle mutilations."
"Classic Demon sign." Sam nodded.
"Started to dig. A lot of virgins go missing around here too." Wally continued.
"Classic horny Demon sign." Dean added.
"Which is why Wally called us, asking for help." Mary stated.
"Hold up, why am I here? Seems like there are enough Hunters and general fire power around this table to take on one Demon without me." Eden frowned.
"Just to be sure. We wanna avoid any unforeseen surprises." Mary replied. "So, are we all clear on the plan?"
Everyone nodded.
"Ten forty-five, Demon comes home, Sam and I will be waiting for him, I'll pop him with a Devil's trap bullet." Dean said.
"I'll finish him off with the Demon Blade." Sam added.
"And I will be waiting round back with you in case he comes in that way." Cas looked to Mary.
"Wait, wait, wait... What do I do?" Wally asked.
"Keep a lookout round the one side, Eden'll be on the other side. Don't die." Mary replied.
"Incoming." Sam uttered as Mandy returned to the table with a pot of coffee.
She tactically stood between Cas and Eden as she grabbed Cas' cup first.
The Angel leaned in, taking a sniff of her, earning a small kick to the ankle by Eden. He frowned at her, getting a raised eyebrow look.
"Hey, Mandy? Question for you. My shy but devastatingly handsome friend here was just wondering... When do you get off?" Dean smiled, gesturing to Castiel.
Mandy smirked, looking down at Cas, who looked up at her.
"Whenever I can." She replied.
"Oh, damn." Wally snorted.
"Point one for her." Dean hummed, holding up a finger. "Drop that on the table."
"Right in front of all of us, too." Wally added.
"That... Was bloody beautiful. Well played." Eden laughed, lightly clapping her hands.
"Wow." Sam scoffed through a smile, glancing between Dean on one side of him and Eden on the other as the waitress walked off with a smug, triumphant look.
"You meet them fancy Men of Letters?" Wally asked after he'd calmed down.
"British Men of Letters?" Sam corrected.
"Yeah, they got gear, but, uh, you know they tried to kill my brother." Dean told him. "Eden used to work for 'em."
"Really?" Eden scoffed. "You're gunna lead with 'they tried to kill my brother' and then say I used to work for them?" Dean shrugged. "But, yes, I used to work for them - decades ago. They used to be all spell work, but now they seem to have been able to mix that with tech and it's freaking me out a bit."
"Well, I'm so nervous; I don't think I can eat." Wally huffed.
"Everything's gunna be fine." Mary reassured him.

"So, how long you been hangin' with the Winchester boys? You three and Castiel are kinda legends in the community." Wally asked as he walked with Eden to her car.
"Almost six years. Those boys are my whole world." She smiled.
"Seems like it. You and Sam seem to have a good thing going." Wally wagged his brows at her, making her laugh.
"Yeah, yeah, it's been pretty crazy. I'm glad Mary approves because their dad would've bloody killed me." She sighed through her smile. "He and I used to hunt together back in the day before he died."
"Yeah, Mary said. I was sorry to hear it." Wally nodded as they reached the car. "So, you got my back tonight?"
"I'm doing my usual and having everyone's backs tonight." She chuckled as they climbed into the Camaro.

Whilst the brothers were in the house sorting things for their part of the plan, Wally and Eden took their places in the tree line surrounding the property.
But something had already gone wrong.
The Demon had come back early. He walked across the property whistling nonchalantly, Eden was almost certain he already suspected something.
Mary and Castiel were in the house as well, so they decided to stay there instead of heading out back to avoid getting caught prematurely.
Wally called Mary, giving her a head's up about the hiccup.
One gunshot sounded soon after. And then another.
Eden knew something wasn't right. Either Dean missed - which wasn't right on its own - or something unexpected had happened.
Another three gunshots went off.
Eden noticed four figures moving towards the house.
Wally peaked through the bush he was hidden behind, giving Eden a nod, telling her he'd seen the people too.
They ran towards the house and soon enough, Sam and Dean burst through the front door.
"Guys, we got a problem!" Wally called, running up the porch steps.
"Yeah, we know." Sam replied.
"No, you don't." Wally panted. "Demons incoming."
"Okay, get Cas, we got this." Sam patted his brother's shoulder. "Go!"
Dean hopped over the porch railing, running towards the back of the house.
"You ready?" Sam asked Wally.
"First time for everything." Wally shrugged.
One pinned Wally to the house, one grabbed Sam and the other two shoved Eden to the floor, as if they knew exactly who she was and what she could do.
As Sam was shoved through the porch railing, Wally was stabbed in the chest, falling to the ground.
Eden threw the Demons off her with her powers and got up, rolling her shoulders back to reveal her almost rejuvenated wings.
She flicked the tips, turning the end feathers sharp. She stalked up to one of the Demons and stabbed him straight through the neck. Electricity sparked from his eyes and mouth and he fell to the floor.
She turned, seeing Sam had killed one of the other Demons, but he still had the one that had killed Wally to go.
A shove came from behind her, knocking her forward a few paces.
She spun around, flexing her wings out, decapitating her other Demon just as Sam took out the remaining one.
He took out his phone, calling Mary as Dean came round the side of the house to join them and Eden shrugged her blood-soaked wings away.
"Mom, where are you?" He asked as soon as she answered.
"We're at a barn down the road. Drive for a bit and turn left." She replied.
"Yeah, okay. We're on the way. Are you okay?" He pressed.
There was a pause on the line.
"No. Just get here fast." She said, hanging up.
Eden was already walking towards her car, the brothers hot on her heel.

When they pulled up outside the barn, Eden instantly knew something was wrong.
"I smell Angel blood." She told the boys. "A lot of it."
"What the Hell just happened?" Dean demanded, bursting through the barn doors.
Mary was crouched down by Castiel, who was on the floor coated in a thick layer of blood.
"Where's Wally?" The mother asked, approaching them.
"Wally, uh..." Sam trailed off, looking to the floor.
"Oh, God..." Mary gasped.
"Cas?" Dean jogged over to him as he groaned out in pain.
"Mom, where did those other Demons come from?" Sam panted.
"I don't know, I- the target. Did you see-"
"No, I mean, he brushed off everything we threw at him." The younger brother cut his mother off.
"The Devil trap bullets and the Demon blade?" Eden frowned, earning a nod.
"Did you see his eyes?" Mary pressed.
"What?"
"They were yellow." She said. "He had yellow eyes."
Eden's blood practically curdled at the words.
"Did you say yellow..." She uttered, earning a frantic nod.
"Mom... What the Hell did you get us into?" Sam breathed.
"Eden, get over here." Dean growled.
The Dark Angel snapped out of the daze she'd put herself into, looked between Sam and his mother and walked off.
She crouched down next to Dean and a very sweaty, pale Castiel, seeing the deep blade wound in the Angel's left side. It appeared to be making some sort of cracked stone effect trail up his stomach.
"I'm sorry..." She whispered.
"The Hell are you sorry for?" Dean scoffed.
"I can't heal myself." Cas groaned.
"He thinks the spear he was hit with was poisoned or something. Think you could use your mojo?" Dean asked. Eden nodded, hovering her hand over the wound, but nothing happened. "Not as healed as you thought?"
"No, it's not me. Pigeon, whatever that spear was, it was beyond powerful. I... Can't help you." She sighed. "Dean, give me your jacket."
The older brother did it, no questions asked. She tore at the bottom of it, making a tourniquet.
"Lift him. Gently." She instructed.
Dean took the Angel's shoulders, sitting him up a little bit so Eden could wrap the tourniquet round his middle before setting him back down. She used another section of jacket to soak up the blood, tightening the section of clothing over it.
"That should do for the bleeding, but there's not much else we can do."
"Sam." Dean called. "Sammy!"
The younger brother came over with Mary.
"You idiots!" Crowley's voice came from behind them. "You're all going to die."
Dean and Eden rose from their crouched spots.
"Well, this day just keeps getting better." The older brother mumbled.
"Crowley?" Sam frowned.
"You're him?" Mary approached the Demon. "The King of Hell?"
"You must be mother Winchester. Pleasure. I've heard so much." He held out his hand.
"Touch me and I'll kill you." Mary uttered.
"What are you doing here, Crowley?" Eden asked.
"What's up with Feathers?" He countered.
"How did you find us?" Dean demanded.
"Wait a second... The Demons. They were yours." Sam pointed an accusing finger at him.
"Obviously." Crowley mumbled.
"They killed my friend." Mary sneered.
"Your friend was stupid." Crowley retorted. "You're all- Do you know what you've done? Does the name 'Ramiel' mean anything to you?"
"No." Dean and Mary replied.
"Yes." Cas and Eden said.
"What?" Sam frowned.
"He's a Prince of Hell." Eden explained, going slightly more pale than usual.
"Ramiel, Prince of Hell. It's catchy, it rhymes." Crowley commented. "And he's going to kill each and every one of you."
"No. The Princes are all dead." Cas breathed through his agony.
"That's what we told people to stop them looking. But, in reality, not so much."
"What the Hell is a Prince of... Hell?" Dean asked.
"The oldest of the old Demons. First generation after Lilith. Lucifer turned them, himself before the oceans drank Atlantis. If memory serves me well, he had help. Isn't that right, little Bat?" Crowley smirked to the Dark Angel.
Everyone turned to look at her. She couldn't bring herself to make eye contact with any of them.
"That was several thousand lifetimes ago." She muttered. "If I'd known any of them were still alive, I-" She cut herself off. "It didn't click until Mary said he had yellow eyes."
"They were trained to be generals to lead demonic armies in the war against Heaven." Cas elaborated. "You helped with that?"
"In my defence, I was pretty mad that God had me imprisoned. So... During my down time, I might've helped Lucifer with a little... Experiment." She replied.
"Azazel. He was a Prince of Hell?" Mary asked.
"My first born..." Eden practically whispered. "How did you know?"
"He was the one who killed mom in the first place." Dean glared at her. "Is that why you said you were sorry just now?"
"Oh my..." Eden's eyes widened. "I didn't know..."
"Dad constantly talked about the yellow-eyed Demon. You mean to tell me that it just didn't click? Or weren't you going to mention it in the hopes it wouldn't have to come up?" Dean spat.
"When John told me about the yellow-eyed Demon, if you'll remember, I didn't have my memories. So I didn't know that I'd helped create them. Since then, I've never even had to think about it, let alone make the connection, until now." Eden told them, looking to Mary. "I'm so sorry."
"She's got a point." Sam interjected. "We knew she had a past and, more to the point, we knew she had a past with Lucifer. This shouldn't be so surprising, you know?"
"You're defending her?" Dean scoffed. "She is the root cause of mom's death. And Jess'."
"Technically, God's the root cause. If he hadn't locked Eden away, Lucifer would never have gotten angry, Eden would never have blah, blah, blah." Crowley commented.
"If I'd have known to make the connection, I would have told you the second I did, I swear, Dean." Eden pleaded.
"Yes, well, after the Princes decided they weren't going to play ball anymore, they left Hell to hide out on Earth. My Demons were there to keep people away from Ramiel. Believe me, that's a hornet's nest you do not want to be kicking." Crowley continued.
"Too late." Dean uttered.
"What happened to Cas?" Sam pressed.
"You tell me."
"He got stabbed with some kind of silver-tipped spear." Mary explained.
Crowley looked down, flicking his tongue against the back of his teeth.
"It's not a spear." He said. "It's a lance. The Lance of Michael."
"Michael. As in Michael Michael?" Dean asked, looking to Eden. "No wonder you couldn't heal him."
"Nasty bit of business." Crowley uttered. "Kills everything it touches. If you're a Demon, you go up in a puff of smoke. But if you're an Angel, you just... Rot away. Sorry Castiel."
"No, no." Dean walked towards him. "There's a cure. There's always a cure and we will find it."
"How?" Crowley scoffed.
"We trap Ramiel." Sam stated.
"And we beat his ass until he gives it up." Dean finished.
"It's not gunna work." Crowley shook his head.
"We took down the Darkness and the Devil." The younger brother pointed out.
"It took you years to defeat Lucifer." The King of Hell all but rolled his eyes. "That and the power of God to stop the Darkness. Maybe, if you had more time you could manage Ramiel, but right now? In this barn? Hey, I was growing fond of the choir boy, too."
"Shut up." Dean snapped. "We don't have time, okay? For your... Your you. So either help us or get the Hell outta here."
"Ask Eden. She knows them best." Crowley simply said before vanishing.
Castiel let out a particularly bad cry of pain.
"Cas, how bad is it?" Dean asked, showing all the concern for his friend possible.
"Crowley's right." Cas said, loosening his tie to reveal the broken-stone effect trailing up his chest. "You should go."
"Cas, come on." Dean sighed.
"No, listen to me. Look, thank you. Thank you. Knowing you... It's been the best part of my life. And- and the things we've shared together, they... They have changed me..."
"Pigeon, come on. I'll fix this. We'll make you better." Eden said, moving to crouch down beside him, resting a hand on his arm.
"You're my family." Cas gave a weak smile to her, sharing it with the rest of them. "And I love you." He gave a lingering glance to Dean. "I love all of you. Just, please... Please don't make my last moments be spent watching you die. Just run. Save yourselves and I will hold Ramiel off as long as I can." He began to try and get up, but it wasn't working.
"Cas, no." Dean shook his head.
"Yes. You need to keep fighting." Castiel panted through his pain.
"We are fighting." Sam frowned. "We're fighting for you, Cas."
"And, like you said, you're family." Dean added.
The Angel took a minute to look around at everyone, so sure that this would be the last time that he would see them.
"Mom." Sam grabbed Mary's attention, looking over to Eden as well, nodding over for a sidebar.
The women got up, walking over to the other side of the barn with the boys.
"What's the play?" Mary asked.
Everyone turned to the Angel of Darkness.
"Like Crowley said, you know the Princes of Hell best." Sam pressed. "You made Ramiel, surely there must be some kind of bond or something there."
"Oh, yes, a little bit of mothering is all he needs to be swayed. He's an army-bred Demon, not a touch-starved orphan, Sam." Eden shook her head.
"So tell us how we can stop him." Dean demanded.
Eden sighed.
"That lance of his would do the trick. Holy oil. The usual suspects for Demons if all else fails."
"Okay, then." Sam nodded. "Let's get to work."
