Dane is standing behind the gate of his parent's house. He doesn't seem to be able to continue to walk. Any minute, he feels like he is about to collapse! He feels so overwhelmed by all the hurt and pain he is having right now! He doesn't know what to do! He badly wants to yell at Gavin earlier, but he can't! He doesn't understand why he can't seem to hurt his husband more.
Dane remained standing by the gate, and when he heard the car engine start indicating that Gavin was now driving away, he collapsed! For Dane, it seems that every string of strength from his body has been sucked right out of him. Everything seems to be collapsing directly in front of his eyes! Every dream he has starting to build is collapsing! Everything!
He is crying so hard!
DANE POV
I know I may be so harsh to Gavin earlier, but I can't face him anymore! I can't look at him right now without having to yell or swear at his face! I just want to get away from him! I don't want to see him! I just can't!
I can't believe everything that I saw! Are all of those true? Is everything a lie? Did he lie to me? What should I do! I don't want to lose him, but how about everything I remember! I remembered everything because of that accident that happened to me earlier in the parking lot! Everything! Every last memory that I forgot and thought would never come back came to me all at once!
I remember everything that happened at our wedding, how happy I was! How I thought everything was perfect then suddenly at the reception, I heard something! I choose to ignore it but that night! His voice! His sorry voice keeps ringing into my ears! How much he was sorry for what he did! I remember now!
AUTHOR POV
During the wedding reception, Gavin is with his friends, celebrating his marriage to Dane. Gavin is talking to his friend, but little did he know that Dane was already at the door hearing their conversation.
"I can't believe you, bro! You did marry him!" One of Gavin's friends speaks to Gavin.
"What do you mean, Gab! Of course, I will marry him!" Gavin said to his friend
"But I thought your relationship with that guy was a lie! I thought you were just so invested with our little play. Remember! How pissed you were that your charm was not working with him that day, then Jerome told you about the bet. If you can make him fall in love with you within three months, you can finally see the Rome sports car that you always want to have, but you can't have because your parents grounded you! I can't still remember your face that day! Your determination to finish that game!"
Dane was waiting for Gavin's answer. He badly wants to hear Gavin deny all of this, but what he sees makes him more confused. Gavin only smirked at the man and continued to drink his wine.
Dane can't take it anymore that he wants to go inside and ask Gavin himself, but the wedding coordinator suddenly calls him.

Honeymoon night, Back to that night before the accident.
"I'm sorry, Dane! Please forgive me! I'm sorry! I thought this would just be for fun! I didn't know! Please forgive me!" Gavin repeatedly said, which made Dane feels confused and shocked while listening to what his man was saying right now
"What do you mean, Love? Why are you so sorry?" Dane asked Gavin even though he was unsure if Gavin would answer him. His heart is pumping so hard because of nervousness. He has suspicion already about what this is all about. He doesn't want it to be real.
"I'm sorry, Dane! I'm sorry, but all of this is because of a bet! I'm sorry! Please forgive me!"

How can he do this to me! I gave him everything! He said he loves me! He said that I'm his everything! He is my everything, but he chooses to play with me! He decides to betray me! What should I do!
God! My heart is breaking again! Why did you let this happen! Why did you bring back all this memory just to hurt me like this! Why! You shouldn't have brought me back everything! I don't care if I don't know everything and will continue to be fooled by that man instead of feeling like this!
Is everything a lie? Is everything he said to be a lie? But how can he lie so brilliantly like that! Everything that he said seems to be real, every I love you! His every touch! His every hug felt so comfortable that it made me always feel at home! Like in his arms is my true home! His every kisses me. I feel so loved and cared about! Is everything a lie and just because of a stupid bet?
Did Gavin really love me? If not, why did he stay even though I already forgot about him? I remember how devastated he was when I let go of him. I saw how he tried to beg me multiple times to stay with him! To remember him! Remember how much I love him and how much he loves me! I remember the tears and the look on his face!
Is that all a lie? Is Every word a lie? Every feeling that he showed me is a lie? But how can he do this to me! How can he execute everything so flawlessly, and for what? For money? For a car? To have fun? How can he do this! What did I do wrong to deserve all of this! What did I do to make him see that I deserve to be in pain like this!
How? Why me? Why always me? First, Hai left me! I moved on and learned to pick up myself again, then there he was! Coming into my life like he was some savior, my knight, and shining armor ready to sweep me off my feet and save me!
But in the end, that very knight who saved me from my first is the one who now is giving me much greater pain! The kind of pain that is making me feel like wanting to die! I just what this pain to stop! Please help me stop!

AUTHOR POV
Dane arrives inside his parent's home. His parents were busy preparing their dinner when Dane suddenly entered the house looking so lost. His mom Clarisse instantly put down everything she held earlier and approached his son.
"Son! Why are you here? What happened? Where is your husband?" Clarisse confusedly asked his son. Dane slowly lifted his head to look at his mom. Clarisse was so shocked upon seeing the look on his son's face!
His eyes were red already! It looks like he just finished crying so hard, but his eyes also show that he is now on the verge of crying again.
"Son! What happened! Did you cry? Why? What happen?" Clarisse worriedly asked his son, Dane's dad, who heard it too, immediately ran to meet his son.
"Son?" Dane's dad worried called his son's name. Dane just looked at him, without a few seconds after, he started to cry.
"Oh, God! Dane! Why are you crying!" Dane was crying so hard that he instantly dropped to the floor. His parent's also lowered themselves to meet him.
"What happened, Son! Is there something wrong that happened? Where is your husband? Is Gavin okay? What happened? Please tell us! you're starting to scare me!" Clarisse worriedly asked her son again but instead of answering.
"Mom!" Dane calls on his mom and cries much harder. Clarisse and her husband only hug their son, trying to console him for whatever is hurting him.
"It hurts, mom! It's hurt! Everything hurt! What should I do, mom! What should I do! Mom! Mom!" Dane said between his tears. He continues to cry for what seems like forever. It is sad to see, especially for his parents, who witness his current situation. They don't know their only son became like this when they saw him a week ago. He seems to be so happy with his husband, Gavin.
"What happened to him!" It is a big question in both Clarisse and his husband's minds.
Dane was crying so hard until he finally gave up and lost consciousness.
"Dane! Omg! Baby!" Clarisse was so showing upon witnessing how his beloved son lost his consciousness right before her.
Author POV
Their family doctor inside his room is currently examining Dane. Now present inside is the Doctor, One nurse, Dane's parents, and Gavin. Clarisse called Gavin to tell him what had happened to Dane. As expected, Gavin was beyond shocked upon hearing about what happened to his husband that he immediately turned his car around to go back to Dane's parent's house to check on him. Thankfully, Gavin is not yet that far from home, so within 5 minutes, he was able to arrive.
"What the hell happened to my son! Gavin! You promised me! You said you would take care of my son, but what the hell is this! Something happened to him again when he was with you! Are you trying to make us lose our only child!" Dane's dad can't help but get angry at Gavin. He even charged on him and held him by his collar. Gavin is not bulging at all because, for him, this is all his fault.
For him, he shouldn't have let Dane go alone. He should have protected his husband, but he failed again. For the second time, he failed again.
Clarisse, who sees what is happening, immediately runs to his husband to try and stop him from fully hurting their son-in-law.
"Chris! Stop that! That's the husband of our child! What do you think our in-laws will feel if they saw you hurting their son!" Clarisse said while pulling her husband away from Gavin. She pulled him then made him face her.
"Look, Chris! Our son needs us all now, not this! Do you think you being angry like this will help! Do you think everything is going to be okay if you hurt Gavin! If yes! Then go! Hurt him! Hurt him as long as you want! Go!" Clarisse is now taunting her husband to do what he wants. Chris seems to realize that he is wrong, so he immediately softens his facial expression. He looked in his wife's direction then held both of her hand.
"I'm so sorry, honey! I didn't mean to act so immaturely! Please forgive me!" He sadly said to his wife
"I'm not the one whom you should say sorry to." Dane's mom sadly said to her husband, Chris seemed to understand what his wife meant, so he let go of her and went to his silent son-in-law. Gavin instantly stands straight to face his father-in-law.
"I'm sorry, Gavin, about what I did! I didn't mean to hurt you! I'm just so afraid for my son! I'm sorry if I blame you! I hope you forgive me!" Chris sincerely said to his son-in-law
"It's okay, dad! I understand everything that you did! You're just nervous for Dane!" Gavin said to Chris. The man smiles at him then goes back to his wife. They both go back near Dane's bedside, waiting for the Doctor's advice for their still sleeping son.
Gavin can't help but feel so hurt and sad while seeing his husband's current situation. He keeps on blaming himself.
"This is my fault! Everything is my fault!" Gavin repeatedly said to himself.
A few minutes more, the doctor stops what he is doing, and he looks in the direction of Dane's parents. Clarisse and Chris instantly walk near him.
"Doc, how is he? Is our son okay? Why did he lose consciousness!" Clarisse worriedly asked the doctor.
"You don't have anything to worry about, Mr. and Mrs. Thompson. Your son is now stable! His vital signs are normal now, unlike earlier when my nurse first checks it. It seems that your son needs to rest to be fully okay. About losing his consciousness, I think you need to bring him tomorrow for us to do a full workup on him to rule out anything, but for now, I think I can fully say that he is now okay. Maybe he is just tired. You said he's been crying when he arrived here at your house. Your son was still recovering from his accident weeks ago, so heavy emotion can easily exhaust him. I advise you to please refrain him from having too much emotion until he is fully recovered." The doctor explained that Gavin was so shocked upon hearing what the doctor said.
"Crying? He is crying so hard? but why?" He looked at Dane and started to caress his face.
"What happened to you, baby! What happened that you suddenly become this way! Please tell me, baby! Please tell me, is there something that I did or said? Please be okay, baby! I can't lose you again! I just can'!." Gavin said as he caressed his wife's face while kissing his hand in between his words. He was distracted when Dane's parents spoke again.
"Are you sure, doc? Are you sure my son is okay?" Clarisse worriedly asked the doctor again. She just can't shake off the feeling that something is wrong with her son.
"We can't know for sure until he wakes up again, but I'm telling you now, after checking his vital signs, you can rest assured that your son is okay. Just let him rest, then well recheck him when he wakes up." The doctor smilingly said
Clarisse and Chris smile after hearing what the doctor just said. They immediately went near their son and held his one hand.
"Please be okay! Son! Please be okay! Mom and Dad will always be here for you! We are always here for you!"
