What is love, really?
Most dictionaries will tell you that love is feeling deep affection for someone.
Some people will explain that love is being cared for unconditionally.
Others will argue that someone who loves you stops you from doing reckless things.
In my opinion, words are too simple to describe something as intricate as love.
If we are lucky enough, we experience true love only a couple of times throughout our lives.
I am lucky to have been raised surrounded by love.
Love from my mother, when she spent countless nights rocking me in her arms as I struggled to grasp a breath of air.
Love from my father, who supports the family, comforts my mother, and pays my medical bills without a single complaint.
Love from Grant, my older brother, who has never failed to put a smile on my face after a hard day when I just feel like giving up.
Love like that is rare. If you have it, treasure it because it can be easily taken away from you.
