Chapter 5
A/N I should be packing to head to a friend's tomorrow, but I couldn't help but write another chapter for y'all. I love reading your comments about the stories I've written and seeing you fall in love with the Blood & Bones MC world as much as I have. Sorry again that my updates are so inconsistent. The next few chapters will center around the Wedding so there will be a lot of Hawk and Ember moments. I'm so excited to finally be writing their wedding after so many months of beginning their love story. Go check out my new story I started, Finally Complete. Indigo's POV
Waking up with a start in a strange room I began to panic before I remembered where I was. I cannot believe I had a dream about Buster. It was a nice break from the usual nightmares I have. I only just met him, and I've always struggled being around men. So, what's so different about this one? Then that feeling I got when he touched my cheek. I unconsciously reached up and ran my fingers along where he touched me. I shook my head trying to get out these thoughts. I'm here for Ember and then I need to get back to my life and away from here. I prefer my quiet life working from home and not having to interact with many people. It's safer that way. I have my own graphic design business and do some freelance editing on the side. I don't do well with being touched, especially by men, so I do not like going out into crowds. I live alone in a small house in the country in Oklahoma. It's not much but it's home. I try to not interact with many, but I have a elderly couple as a neighbor that refused to leave me alone. I'm grateful that they were persistent in getting to know me though because they have become a huge blessing. I do not mind their hugs and invasive questions so much anymore.
Sighing I got up to begin getting ready. I want to make sure I am there for Ember as she gets ready this morning. I just hope I can avoid Buster today.
Buster's POV
BANG BANG BANG "Buster wake up! Hawk's got stuff we need to get done. You know how important it is to him that everything is perfect today for Flame." I hear Screw shout through my door.
I groan rolling back over. I was having a great dream about a certain raven-haired beauty. Shaking my head to clear away the fogginess. Today is about Hawk and Flame, I'm going to have to stay away from Indi, so I do not upset her thus upsetting Flame. I will just have to distract myself, so I don't allow myself to get sucked in. Heading towards the shower I already knew today was going to be a long day.
Ember's POV
I felt the bed dip next to me. I had expected Hawk when I opened my eyes and instead, I'm met with the sight of Cass holding a plate of eggs, bacon, and toast. "Rise and Shine Bride of the day." She cheerfully said to me.
I smiled at her while sitting up and then eyeing the plate of food, "Umm you didn't make that did you?"
She glared at me, "And what if I did?" I gave her a look that said you cannot be serious, "Of course I didn't, you think I'd poison you on your wedding day? Pearl made breakfast."
I couldn't help but laugh at her antics and gratefully took the plate from just as my stomach growled. Taking a big bite of eggs I hummed in satisfactions, "Thanks for not trying to kill me off before I got married." I winked at her after that.
Cass laughed with me this time. "Well hurry up and finish you need to get in the shower. Amelia and Indi should be here in about 45 minutes so we can all get ready together. Since you have the biggest room that is basically an apartment. I cannot wait for our houses to be done!" She was very dramatic with that last sentence.
"You know they've rushed as much as they can. They'll be done in a couple of weeks." I reminded her.
"I know but now with the kids being here I just want them to have the stability they've lacked all their lives. I really hoped the house would be ready by the time they came home, but at least know they can help with personalizing their rooms. I want them to feel at home there." Cass was glowing talking about her kids. I'm so happy for her that their dream has now become a reality so quickly for them.
"When do they think the adoption will go through?" I ask her as I continue to pile my breakfast into my mouth.
"Probably another 6 months. So right before we welcome your little one into the world." She smiled at my stomach saying that. I know that she is excited for her kids but I'm sure seeing me pregnant knowing she will never have it isn't easy on her. I'm hoping to include her as much as I can.
"I spoke with Hawk and we both agree we want you to be in the delivery room." She started to cry. "Also, we want both you and Gage to be the Godparents." Now there were full blown tears as she dragged me into a hug nearly knocking my empty plate onto the floor.
After a few minutes I pulled back, "Well now I need to get in the shower. I don't want to be late to my own wedding." I went off to the bathroom as she took my plate heading for the door. I scrubbed my whole body down and shaved ready to face the day I wrapped a towel around my body.
Stepping out of the bathroom just as I heard the main door slam open and Amelia shout, "Alright I've brought the Tequila!" Sure, enough here she comes with tequila, lime slices, and salt. I shook my head smiling at her antics. "Well sorry mama to be you will have to stick to water and juice today." She informs me. I roll my eyes at that, this will be a long next 8 months.
I saw Indigo come in behind Amelia and quietly close the door. "Good morning everyone. I'm just going to get dressed and then we can begin getting ready." I walked back into my room and got dressed.
The morning was filled with stories from all our crazy antics over the years. Even Indi seemed to let loose a bit, which I was so happy to see. I worried that after what happened with Buster last night she would be closed off like normal. It was great having my time with these women. My hair was done up all curled and flowing down my back and my make-up was done to look natural just the way I like it. I was getting ready to put my dress on when there was a knock at the door. I wonder who that could be.
Hawk's POV
Waking up this morning I had a big smile on my face. Today is the day I make my Little Flame completely mine. She will be tied to me in every way after today. I look down at my sleeping beauty in arms. I never thought I could have someone like her after all the running around I did and lives I've taken. Never knew I could find this kind of happiness and a woman that fits so seamlessly into my life. My Little Flame awakened my soul with a blazing fire. I leaned down and kissed the top of her head. Then careful not to wake her I scooted down and lifted the blanket to kiss her tummy where my little bean was growing. The love my life was gifting me the most precious gift. I don't know if I could ever be any happier than I am today. Slowly I got out of bed before taking a quick shower. There was a lot to get done today to make sure Little Flame got the perfect day for her.
After showering and getting dressed I snuck one last peek at My Little Flame before sneaking out of the room. Walking down the stairs I passed Cass on the way up carrying a plate of breakfast food. "Don't worry Hawk, we'll take care of her today. You just make sure you and the boys have everything ready on time." She told me sternly, well sternly for Cass.
I chuckled a little before giving her a, "Yes Ma'am!" I continued down the stairs shaking my head.
"Well, if isn't the man of the hour!" I heard Screw shout out.
The other men in the bar area began to cheer and cat call me. "Yea Yea Yea" I called out rolling my eyes at them.
"Not too late to run off Prez. Only allowed one woman the rest of your life. Sure, you want to do it?" Tank called from the corner.
I scoffed at that, "You mean none of you wouldn't jump at a chance with a woman like my Little Flame?" I could tell by many of their looks that I was right. "She my heart, my soul, my everything. There is no me without her anymore. You will all get it when you find your one."
"And give up all of that pussy?" Screw called out. "Yea, no thanks!" Several of the guys called out in agreement with Screw.
"Awe boys Hawk's right, just you wait and see you'll find her and then you will be eating your words." Gage said before clapping me on the back.
"Yea, sure" Tank said sarcastically.
"Alright men we need to get down to business. Finish eating your breakfast and then get to your assignments. We need to make sure that today is perfect for Flame after all she's done for us." Gage told them getting serious.
I know the men were enjoying joking with me but any of them would beat me black and blue if I were to try and run out on Little Flame. Not that I would even consider it. I meant it when I said there is no me without her anymore. Look around the room I noticed Buster was missing. "Screw go get Buster up and tell him to get down here there's a lot to do in the next few hours." Screw was off up the stairs quickly.
"I cannot believe today is finally here. These next few hours are going to feel like torture." I complained running my hand down my face.
"Flame loves you, don't stress over it. Everything will go well." Blade told me from my side.
Slowly everything came together, and we were only 30 minutes out from the wedding started. I called Screw over, "Screw, I need you to take this up to Little Flame. It's my wedding gift for her."
He peeked in at it and gave me a big smile, "Sure thing Prez" and then he scampered off towards the clubhouse while I head to Axel and Pearls house to get changed into clean jeans and button down. My Little Flame didn't want traditional and went with something that me and the guys would feel way more comfortable in. Only 30 more minutes until She's fully mine.
