me and magbnus go back to my room. me sat on the bed my thumb in my mouth watching as he grabs my bag and starts to slowly pack things.
"so..." he mutters with his back to me."you gonna tell me what alec's done?" he asks making me shake my head.
he frowns and looks over his shoulder seeing me shake my head he sighs.
dropping the bag onto the floor he walks over to me and sighs. he sits down on the bed and i crawl ovee to him climbing onto his lap. i look up at him with innocent eyes as he straes down at me.
"you and alec are very important to me." he mutters pushing some hair out of my face.
"awec's mean." i whisper pulling my thumb out of my mouth. he frowns at me placing his hand on the side of my face.
"why?" he whispers to me but i dont say anything. i just look away. he sighs knowing im not going to tell him.
"lets finish getting you packed up." he mutters patting my back. he lifts me off him before getting up and walking bakc over to my bag and puts the rest of my clothes inside.
he grabs my stele and puts it in my bag aswell as the book before coming over to me and lifting a hoodie over my head before picking me up and carrying me out of my room.
i snuggle into him as we walk towards the portal hoping to just go back to his place and g to sleep.
but just like always nothing goes how i want it to.
jace and izzy stop us.
"gracie...."jace says smiling sadly at me making me pout.
he defiently knows about alec's plan.
"where clary?" i ask looking at him frowning before looking aorund not seeing my sister anywhere.
"shes with simon...shes fine" jace speaks smiling at me before he looks at magnus."we need your help."he tells magnus making magnus sigh.
we move from the middle of the hallway to the training room magnus still hodling me but im more awake now listening to jace and izzy's plan.
"Let me get this straight. You need Alec's stele to open the safe, and you want me to steal it from him? " magnus speaks shifitng me on his hip and my bag on his shoulder.
"want me to take her." izzy says looking at magnus trying to speak to jace serously but im shifting in his arms.
magnus nods and slowly drops me to my feet making me frown.and try and get back into his arms.
"go see isabelle." he tells me making me frown. i turn and see izzy stood there a small smile on her face.
i nod and walk over standing next to izzy reahcing and holding her hand. one hand in hers one holding bunny tightly.
"you know about alec's stupid plan?"she mutters looking at me. i look at her and nod sadly and she sighs.
she pulls me into a hug making me whimper cause i dont want him to marry lydia.
"We prefer the word "borrow.""jace speaks making me and izzy pull apart. i watch magnus and jace speak as he tries to covince magnus to do it,.
"Without his knowledge."izzy says smirking.
"No. No can do. Not happening." magnus says shaking his head,.
"Magnus, ever since Alec found out our parents were in the Circle, he's been messed up. He can't see the big picture." jace speaks annoyed running a hand down his face frustrated.
"If the Clave is willing to subject Meliorn to the Silent Brothers, if they're willing to go this far... what do you think will happen if they get the Cup? This affects everyone." izzy says looking at magnus despertley.
magnus looks at me holding onto izzy's hand tightly looking at him with my wide inncoent eyes he sighs.
"Help us get into that safe. Help us stop this. " jace speaks making magnus look aay from me and at him.
"You're both going to owe me. I'm talking 14th century. Gold, rubies... definitely diamonds and gracie wants ice cream...And Alec can never know." magnus speaks looking at jace serisouly.
"sure thing that's a given." jace speaks a small smile on his face at the mention of me getting ice cream.
"If we're going to do this... there's no turning back."magnus speaks seriously looking ebtween everyone.
now i feel nervous.
magnus holds my hand as we walk down the hallway towards alec's office. we dropped my bag and bunny back in my room before we walked down here.
he did ask for me to stay with jace and izzy but i refused wnating to stay with him,
aproaching alec's office my grip on magnus hand tightens making him sigh.
"come on" he mutters pulling me towards the office.
we stop just outside the wall of it. magnus looks at me and drop my hand bringing his finger up to his lips to tell me to be quiet.
he looks at the wall and the strange patten on it before he lefts his hand up slowly opening it making a hole appear in the wall.
i stand on my tiptoes to peer threw the whole looking inside.
alec is sat on the egde of his desk. his shirt half off as he slowly removes the bandges from his side.
i wasnt to whimper seeing him hiss in pain as he moves it but i cant cause i need to be quiet.
magnus snaps his fingers making the stele that was on the desk next to him disapear.
he quickly pulls his phone out of his pocket and looks at it. i push myself up to look threw the hole again and watch alec pull on his shirt before buttoning it up.
magnus pulls me back before snapping his fingers again making the stele appear back on alec's desk before he notices.
magnus quickly closes the whole before he picks me up hugging me tightly to his frame amking me whine.
"shhhh its okay little one." magnus speaks bouncing me in his arms.
"everything okay?"alec asks coming out of his office looking at magnus pretending to calm me down.
"yes..just checking the warding is safe..gracies fussy." magnus says smirking at alec.
"let me see her."alec says reaching for me. i whimper and hold onto magnus tighter not wanting to speak to alec.
"i do believe she doesnt want to see you." magnus tells alec confused frowning at my actions.
"I thought we'd see how you are doing before we leave." magnus speaks shifting me on his hip making me huff.
"i meant to thank you for your advice. The whole... "follow your heart" thing." alec speaks walking down the hallway making magnus follow.
"Oh, well, what can I say?I have a deep understanding of the human psyche. At least, that's what Freud always said."magnus chuckles walking next to alec.
alec sighs and looks down at me before looking at magnus.
"I'm getting married."alec speaks seriously making magnus stop walking and look at him with wide eyes.
"Whoa! That's a tad sudden, isn't it?" magnnus speaks looking at alec a confused chuckle leaves his mouth."I mean, all three of us should at least go to dinner first..." magnus jokes making me whine and alec roll his eyes.
"No, Magnus, family is everything to me. You have to know that." alec says serously looking at magnus. i can feel his eyes on the back of my head as i lay my head on magnus shoulder not looking at alec.
"I get it. You're part of a "Don't ask, don't tell" culture. I'm fine with it. You're a traditional guy."magnus speaks shifting me on his hip again making me look at alec pouting.
"Yeah, I am." alec mutters. he takes a deep breath before he sighs."That's why I proposed to Lydia." alec says slowly looking at me.
when he doesnt get a reaction i knows that i alreayd know and thats why i dont want to go near him.
"That's... interesting."magnus replies back slowly.
"It makes sense. It's a solid partnership. For both of us." alec stutters looking between me and magnus.
""Solid partnership."" magnus laughs."That's hot! Well, okay, then. Congratulations. Marriage is a wonderful institution." magnus speaks before looking away from alec."Not that I would know." he mutters making me hug him tightly."Goodbye, Alexander." magnus speaks looking at alec sadly before he starts to walk down the halways.
"gracie" alec calls making magnus stop walking. magnus looks at me and nods before turning around making me look at alec." i am sorry you know but i need to do this." alec says looking at me.
"its not fair alec" i speak sadly looking at him. before i hide my face in magnus's neck again making him nod at alec before we leave.
