Chapter 25 (Bunny and little lion)
Zhan Xian being a gentleman wanted to help Wangyi onto the horse, before he could do anything, the light weight Wangyi already step and then hop onto the horse better than a professional horse rider. Thus, it is true that Wangyi is good at horse riding, the way he float his body over to the house, anyone can tell. There is great satisfaction on both Wangyi and Zhan Xian's face but maybe not so the samw with Wen Ning, who missed out the chance riding on little white who is famous for his speed and strong and smooth ride.
Zhan Xian then hop into the little black easily without much effort and he turns around and then lower himself towards the front and speaks to his little black horse
"You are the man now, lead your little white wife" Zhan Xian then talk to his little black horse.
Jingyi heard it and then he turns to Zhan Xian
"Little white is the wife of little black?" Jingyi asks with amusement
Wangyi who is now playing and patting the horse then heard it and turns to look at Zhan Xian with surprises on his face. Immediately he says straight from his mind
"Hey, since they are a couple, don't separate them, it is sad and cruel" when Wangyi was saying this, his mind flew back to the times that his mother was away from his father, he knew that his mother misses his father a lot although Cheng Ching didn't shows it but sometimes those words such as
"I hope you father take care of himself"
"AH, it is very cold in the capital, I hope he has thick warm clothes"
"I hope Xichen drink hot soup like now you are drinking"
All these words of endearment and longing will automatically shoot out from his mother Cheng Ching mouth when they were doing something in Cheng Tribes together. The long suffering was difficult and painful for them.
After those words, Wangyi eyes becomes red and then he tries to hide it by looking far ahead, trying to hold on to his tears. Zhan Xian has always been observing those beautiful eyes and of course he is aware.
"Hey, the past is the past, now you are with your family now, alright" if not for the ancient believes that girl and boy should keep a distance, Zhan Xian really would like to pat his head and hug him. However, as this point, it is not even possible because as a prince that had brought up with strict protocol, he knew it is not well received.
Wangyi heard those consoling and smoothening words from Zhan Xian and somehow it ease his soul and he turns around and smile with those watery and misty eyes.
"Thank you" very soft and gentle together with those sweet cherry lips and the eyes that looks like the ocean that fills with droplets from the sky, Zhan Xian feels like he needs to get some sanity into his mind and so he just nods his head earnestly and begins to take his eyes from that dangerous scene and pat his horse
"Mount your horse now" Zhan Xian turns around and make sure that evey ohe has alrady mounted themselves onto the horse and gives a shout
"Let's go" Zhan Xian pat the back of his horse and straight away the horse gallop like the gust of wind and of course following him behind steadily is his "wife" little white and thus their horse were quite a bit faster and thus further away from the two Wen Ning and Jingyi behind.
Jingyi seems very anxious when he saw the horses in front galloping further and further away and he tries very hard to get his own horse moving faster but still the distance between them gets wider and wider.
"Wen Ning, how to get the horse move faster?" Jingyi asks with anxiousness
Wen Ning laughs and told him
"This is the different between those two horses and others, no only that, they are specially stronger than any horses, they can run 3 days 3 nights without resting" Inside Wen Ning heart, he laughs "Why do you think the Emperor gives h s favourite son the two horses and not to any of the other sons?"
"Oh!" the disappointing Jingyi frowns and curves up his lip and then sigh and looks like he has to give up and hope that Zhan Zhan will take care of Wangyi. So, Wen Ning and Jingyi has been left behind.
The breeze is cold and the trees in the jungle seems to grow bigger and bigger. Zhan Xian rides on his little black with ease, the horse has been trained with rough terrain and so in the jungle is like eating a piece of cake. The twist and turns of the jungle to follow the narrow pathway where there may be roots that are out or overgrown, making it easy to get trap by it and fell off the horse. However, little black and little white are like two horses that have very vigiliant eyes, they can see afar and thus, every now and then the horse will skip, jumps or hurdles across the rough terrain.
Wangyi is a good rider, he lives in Cheng tribes and has bee ntrained to ride horse since the age of five but still he has great admiration for this beautiful little white, little white follows little black like wife naturally following husband. They stick quite close to each other when they ar galloping parallel. Thus, the smile on Wangyi face can be seen clear by Zhan Xian who seems to be enchanted by a fairy.
After riding for a while, Zhan Xian knows that Wen Ning will not be able to catch up and so his let out a whistle and the two horses listen to the command and they slow down their foot steps till they finally comes to a standstill. Wangyi who so enjoys himself doesn't know why the little black horse has come to a standstill, Wangyi doesn't like it at all, he is enjoying the breeze that seems to fly past him, cooling his body, hitting his face gently like someone patting his face, those nature of the trees that kept passing him, like he is changing scenery after scenery and every time, he feels like he is in the fun land, the smooth fast speed of the little white makes Wangyi feels living on air . He has so much enjoyment and fun that he doesn't want to stop at all. However, his little white has been trained to follow his "husband" little black and so when Zhan Xian pulls the reign. naturally the little white will sense the direction and his footsteps will also slowly comes to a halt.
The pouty boy looks at Zhan Xian with his disappointed eyes and at the same time decided to take off his veil because there is no one here in the jungle.
"Why! Huh!" those pouty lips and puffy cheek are now visible to the stunning prince who doesn't seems to be able to take off his eyes for those cherry rosy lips and those steam bun cheek that now he feels his throat itchy that he wanted to bite Wangyi's cheek. "Scary" thoughts like this actually frightened the prince and he has to turn away to reply.
"What why?" Zhan Xian asks senselessly as he is still dazed by the cute look
Wangyi is a persistent child when comes to his fun and so he ride his horse towards Zhan Xian, making them close and put his cute head right in front of Zhan Xian
"Why stop" Wangyi asks
The vision of this is too much for the third prince, the person in front will steal his soul and so he look point blank in front
"We are too far ahead, we probably need to wait for them" Zhan Xian told Wangyi.
Wangyi suddenly then notices that the two are no where to be seen, however, how can he wasted time of enjoyment waiting and so Wangyi frowns unhappily. Zhan Xian has now been observing him, suddenly Zhan Xian also felt like has has the greatest mission in his life, he doesn't like to see Wangyi disappointed. Zhan Xian hasn't have time to find out why yet, his mind already thinking how to satisfy this cutie pie and so his eyes is like lazer scanner searching for things to minimise those pouty lips.
"Hey, how about we walk down to the river and let the horses drink some water first while waiting" Zhan Xian saw a peaceful steam that blending the water and the blue sky, it looks very beautiful and pictureque.
Wangyi looks at his new little white that looks more like his new found baby and so he cower down and talk to little white
"You are thirsty right"
"Alright, let's go and have some water"
Wangyi giggles and happily follows Zhan Xian down to the steam, as he goes nearer, they both hop off the horses and walks beside them.
The water in the river is clean and clean, as the horses goes near them, they greedily hang down their long neck and begins drinking hastily. Zhan Xian went to the horse bad and took out a drink bottle and give the water bottle to Wangyi
"You want to drink?" Zhan Xian asks Wangyi while holding out the water bottle, somehow the mighty prince felt a little shy and uncertain. Now when has theis ever happens to someone that has been brought out by the emperor himself to be full of confident.
Wangyi looks at the water bottle and nods his head eagerly, being brought up in Cheng Tribes, he is very straight forward with his needs and wants and so he stretch out his fair hands to take the drink bottle
"Thank you" then the sound of him drinking the water with a little sound "guru, guru" into his throat, to Zhan Xian even the sound seems like music in his ears. When this thought comes into Zhan Xian mind, he feels like he should knock his head onto the stone to get some clarity.
Then, the water bottle has been hand back over and Wangyi told Zhan Xian
"There is still a lot left". Wangyi told Zhan Xian, sharing is loving in Cheng Tribes, they take care of each other.
"Oh!"
"You left them for me" the self inflicted sweetness is better than heaven peaches in Zhan Xian's heart and he smiles widely.
Wangyi take a moment to think but he reply honestly
"Yeah, we should share and not be selfish" Wangyi told him but when Wangyi's vision caught hold of the wide smiles, he jumps up happily and claps
"I saw it"
"It is a bunny smile"
"You should smile widely more"
"It is cute"
Short and quick praising sentences shoot out of Wangyi mouth as the cute boy jumping like he saw a treasure. No one ever responded to his smile so enthusiastically like Wangyi, Zhan Xian knew he has beautiful smile which was praised by his parents but that kind of straight honest praise coupled with such intense joy makes the steel iron man Zhan Xian begins to feel shy... strange! strange!
The worst has yet to come when Wangyi shouted
"Hey, why your ears are red"
"Rabbit ears"
"You are a true human rabbit" Wangyi smiles happily at Zhan Xian
Now, the prince knew that he felt his ears are hot but after what Wangyi said, it becomes hotter and even his face feels hot now.
"Can I call you bunny?" Wangyi asks with eager eyes, amking it hard for anyone to refuse.
Zhan Xian looks at Wangyi and didn't know how to reply and he obviously didn't want to refuse the person in front where he finds it hard to say no but what would others think if he is called bunny, the mighty third prince of WEI country.
So, he speaks softly to Wangyi
"Only when there are two of us"
"In private"
Zhan Xian told Wangy, never in his life, has he given anyone so much privileges that now he should just slam his head on the rock.
Wangyi's eyes beams and sparkles
"Alright"
"You can call me lion"
"When no one around"
Wangyi told Zhan Xian.
Zhan Xian starts to think and then he paused after that he reply
"Mmmm... I think kitten is more like you" Zhan Xian told Wangyi
Wangyi turns around and tries to squeeze his eyes red in front of Zhan Xian
"Kitten seems too weak"
"I don't want"
"Mmmaawwhhh"
"I already feel being bully"
The cute voices of Wangyi echoed into the third prince ears making his heart helpless and aching. Then the third prince reply
"Alright, how about little lion then" the third prince who is well know for being an uncompromising personality when comes to serious and tactical matter is now compromising to the whim and wishes of this little Wangyi.
Wangyi bend his head and think and then he suddenly lift up his cheerful face
"Alright"
"A deal"
"Bunny and little lion"
"Our secret names for each other" Wangyi told the third prince and then he put out his pinky finger
"Let's make pinky promise and whoever who break the promise is a piglet" Wangyi then laughs and holding his his beautiful fair pinky fingers and waves in front of Zhan Xian's face.
Zhan Xian looks at those little fair pinky and then remembered that those are like five years old type of fun that he had and has never since then ever seen anyone offer that to him. However, today he stretch out his long straight pinky and then hook it with Wangyi's and decide to be five years old again/ Thus, the names were sealed by the pinky promise. Knowing that only both of them knew brought loads of sweetness into Zhan Xian heart and he felt it swelling that when he swallows, he finds that suddenly his saliva tastes sweet as well.
Wangyi is laughing and then small giggles burst out of him as he is happy with this promises. Suddenly the cute boy looks around and thus sensing no one he calls Zhan Xian
"Hey, bunny. It is boring" Wangyi
"Oh" Zhan Xian
Zhan Xian looks around and then he saw some peddles and he pick a few in his hands and asks Wangyi
"How about playing ripples pebbles?" Zhan Xian asks Wangyi
Wangyi looks around and then he nods, he used to play this with the children in Cheng Tribes and his brother when he comes visit him.
So, now both of them pick up lots of pebbles in their hands and then Wangyi looks at Zhan Xian
"You can start first" the younger wants to give way to the elder but Zhan Xian smiles and almost, almost wanting to pat his head
"No, you go first" Zhan Xian told Wangyi.
Wangyi then lifts up his hand and turns side ways, lower his body and tries to skide the pebbles towards the river to make ripples
"One, two, three" with the "thong, thong and tong" sound, Wangyi's pebbles makes three ripples.
Wangyi looks at Zhan Xian with a half satisfied look
"Your turn"
Zhan Xian just turn side way casually and he made four ripples easily. Then he turns gently at Wangyi,
"Now, your turn now" Zhan Xian smiles at the cute Wangyi
Wangyi takes some firm steps and he then tries not to lower his back, tries to take it casually but the ripples is only two and then it dies off. Wangyi lower his head and deeply disappointment. He silent for a while and then turns to give his brightest smiles
"Heh Heh, just now, I didn't do my best, can I try again, Mr Big Bunny Brother" Wangyi pleading eyes is just too cute. Zhan Xian pretends to darken his eyes like he is not going to agree, but honestly, he is already defected by those pleading eyes and then he pretends to think, making the little lion sitting on edge but then he let a loud sigh and nods his head
"Since you call me big brother, I agree" Zhan Xian almost burst out in laughter but he managed to holds it because that little lion is just too adorable.
Wangyi quickly picks up the pebbles and then now he cower lower and then he slide the pebbles into the river and it gives "thong, thong....", five loud sounds, immediately the cute Wangyi jumps in triumphant
"Five!, I got five ripples" Wangy laughs so happily and he looks at Zhan Xian waiting for him to play.
Zhan Xian just again casually throws the pebbles and it makes six ripples, making Wangyi very frustrated but this little kiddo doesn't gives up and so now he picks up another peddles and he tries again. Wangyi skillfully skide the pebbles and it make seven ripples.
The cute Wangyi puts out seven fingers to show Zhan Xian
"Seven! I got seven" Wangyi then looks at Zhan Xian and prayfully hoping that he only makes six orthe maximum seven and then they are equal, he cute boy doesn't want to lost but doesn't mind beng equal.
Zhan Xian looks at him with a smile and then he hit eight ripples and making Wangyi really having cold sweat now as it is really not easy to have eight.
Now, Wangyi sands at the river, holding a pebble but he didn't release, he hesitated because he knew himself, he never makes it more than seven, even with multiple tries and he doesn't want to lost and so he hesitated for a long time.
Zhan Xian saw that cute Wangyi and of course he knew what Wangyi was thinking. In his heart, he also wants to please the little lion and so he already secretly accumulate his qi to release it to help Wangyi pebble.
"Hey, don't worry, just try your best, maybe you can hit eight" Zhan Xian stands beside him to encourage the little lion.
Wangyi takes a big breathe and then he turns to Zhan Xian
"Alright, I will show you the lion's power" Wangyi tries to gather all his strength onto the wrist and he exercise his wrist a few times and then he made up is mind to throw it out next.
After the pebble releases, it goes "thong, thong....." reaches seven and seems to die off but suddenly with a surge of energy, it makes a last ripple and it ended eight.
Wangyi jumps so sky high and then he shouted
"YES! Eight" Wangyi is so happy that he clapps his hands non-stop.
Looking at Wangyi's happy face, Zhan Xian has one revelation "Wangyi's happiness matter a lot to him". This is becaue suddenly Zhan Xian felt really happy watching the happy Wangyi, as Zhan Xian was still trying to sort out his thoughts, he felt something soft and warm on his back, also, the soft fabric has circle his neck.
To his shock, Wangyi jumps onto his back, and he automatically bend forward, so that the cute Wangyi doesn't slide down and he immediately stretch his hand to hold onto the legs at the side to support him.
"Run! Run!, I aso happy, I want to catch the wind" Wangyi puts his mouth next to Zhan Xian and told him in his ears.
The shocking third prince could not react immediately because, no one has even being that close to him other than his parents and maybe his naughty little brother Zhan Ang. But now, this cute Wangyi is on his back and commanding him to run, however, that kind of command indeed did has effect because, the legs now begins to take off and run and as fast as possible.
Wangyi is so happy, he feels like he is on XIchen's back and he just enjoys that cold breeze on his face, he loves nature, this is his reward to feel and catches the wind. So, he stretches his hands out to let the wind glide through his fingers and also brae his face forward to let the wind kisses his face. Wangyi has absolutely no idea that he is making someone suffers.
