3rd POV
The McCall pack(half of them), Layla, Theo, Jay, and James were making their way to the Hale packhouse, where the Sceetryon would likely be. Scott was following a scent that was not Malia, but he assumed it was the Sceetryon's scent.
"Stiles, do you have the silver jar that I instructed you with?" Layla asked Stiles.
"Yea, I do" Stiles answered pointing to his backpack that he had on. Layla nodded and said, "Let's go over the plan." She was reading the spell to create a magic barrier made of any substance, she was trying to get familiar with and memorize the spell.
"Scott will distract her, you will create the barrier made of silver trapping her and Scott. Scott will be able to get out of it, but not her. Then, James will try to get Malia to break free from the possession. Once the Sceetryon is out, Malia will get out out of the barrier. You will release the barrier and I will trap it in the silver jar well it is still weak." Stiles explained the plan.
"We will stick to the plan. Nobody does anything stupid" Scott said firmly. Everybody nodded. The group continued walking until they made it to the Hale packhouse. They stopped.
"Looks like you find me" The group heard a voice said from inside the house. They saw the Sceetryon open the door and walked out, stopping a few feet away from the group. She was smirking at them. Scott started walking towards her but stopped when she started chuckling.
" Seven against one that doesn't seem fair. Does it. So, I brought my own squad" The Sceetryon said pointing behind the group. The group turned around to see Liam and his gang, they were shocked, except Layla, who I already knew was scent blockers, on how they didn't smelt their scents.
"I bet you're wondering how you didn't smelt their scent. It's simple I give them scent blockers that I got from Deaton"
Flashback
The Sceetryon walked into the animal clinic. Deaton looked up and saw her. "What can I do for you, Malia?"
"Do you happen to have scent blockers? We are trying to use them to block our scent from the Sceetryon when we go find her in the woods where she ran off to once we figured out who she was." the Sceetryon said in Malia's voice.
"Yes, I do have scent blockers. May I ask who is the Sceetryon?" Deaton said in suspicion.
"Great. The Sceetryon is this girl named Jessica at our school." the Sceetryon replied. Deaton nodded and went to his cabinet to grab some scent blockers. He gave them to the Sceetryon. The Sceetryon took them and thank him and left.
End of Flashback
Scott signed. "Theo, you will handle Liam. Jay, you will handle Hayden. James, you handle Corey, but be careful he can turn invisible. Lydia, you will handle Mason, but don't hurt him much. And I will handle her. Layla and Stiles, you guys be prepare." Scott ordered. Everybody nodded and get into formation with Theo facing Laim, Jay facing Hayden, James facing Corey, Lydia facing Mason, and Scott facing the Sceetryon. Then, the fight began.
"Did you memorized the spell?" Stiles asked Layla, who closed the spellbook and gestured to Stiles to put it in his backpack. They were off to the side. "Yea, I did. I would just need some silver. I have some but it's not enough"
"What if I give you mine, would that be enough?" Stiles asked, taking his bracelet that had silver powder off.
"Yea, it should be enough" Layla answered as Stiles took the lid off the jar and pour the silver powder from his bracelet into Layla's. They watched the fight, which is not going well. The non-hypnotized pack members were worried about not hurting the hypnotized pack members that they were losing. They saw that Jay got hit pretty badly. Layla went to help her, "you stay here". Layla froze Hayden's claw before she can claw Jay in the face. "I got her, you got help your brother. He can really use help" Jay nodded.
"Before you go, you will be needing to see Corey when he's invisible," Layla said and cast the gift of sight spell on her to help her see creatures that are invisible. After that, Jay went to help her brother. Layla turned to Hayden, who was frozen from her spell, deciding if she should unfrozen her and fight her or let her be frozen. Then, she reminded the unhypnotization spell. She moved away from Hayden's direction of attack. She unfroze her. Hayden swings at air. She was shocked at Jay not being there.
"Hey, Hayden" Layla called. Hayden turned around and Layla cast the spell. Hayden dropped unconscious. "Oops, forget about that part." She will be unconscious for a few minutes. This was why people preferred the potion instead of the spell.
With Scott and the Sceetryon
The Sceetryon saw that the alpha was too strong for her to defeat. I need to do something she thought. The Sceetryon saw the hybrid and smirked, I can use her as a distraction.
"Looks like your hybrid joined the fight and she's getting hurt pretty badly"
"No, she not. I would be able to feel it if she was" Scott replied not taking his eyes off her, which is what she wanted. Let's try something else than the Scetryon thought.
"Attack the hybrid!" Sceetryon shouted to her puppets. Liam, Corey, and Mason changed their target to Layla. They started running towards Layla. Theo tried to stop Liam, but Liam punched him in the face and use Theo being in pain to get towards. Jay tried the same thing with Corey with her brother, which distracts him for the time being. Liam started attacking her. She blocked his attack. When the Sceetryon shouted that, Scott forgot about not taking his eyes off her. He turned around to check on his mate, which was a bad move. The Sceetryon clawed him in the back. He stumbled and turned around only to see the Sceetryon claw in his face. She knocked him to the ground and continued clawing his chest.
Layla felt pains in her heart, telling her that her mate is pain or hurt. "Scott!" she heard Stiles shout. She cast the unhypnotization spell on Liam, knocking him unconscious. She turned around to see her mate being clawed repeating in the chest by the Sceetryon, similar to what happened to her dad before.
"Noo!!" She shouted, running to her mate, knocking the Sceetryon off of him to a tree. She dropped next to him, putting her hands on his chest to stop the bleeding, but that didn't help. He can't heal since the wounds were too deep and the bleed was oozing a lot. Stiles dropped on the other side of Scott. Everybody stopped fighting and watched what s happening.
"No, no, no, no. Please, no. Don't die on me, I just find you" Layla cried. Scott raised his bleed hand to her cheek. She leaned into it.
"I'm sss-orrrr-yyy" Scott shutter in pain and his hand dropped and his eyes closed.
"No" Layla whispered, dropping her head on her mate's chest and wept.
