"alec..."i say quietly kicking my feet still.
"hmm?" he asks turning and looking at me.
"do you think my mom is still alive?" i ask him turning to look at him. his eyes widen at the question.
"come here." he says making me frown. he reachs a hand for me to grab and i climb over to him and sit next to him on the rocks."your mom is going to be just fine, all of this is gonna be fine okay?" he says as i look down. when he realises that tears are falling down my face he sighs and wraps an arm around me pulling me to sit side ways on his lap.
he hugs me tightly as i cry until i stop crying all togteher just the feeling of exshaustion is left.
we hear footsteps coming but alec doesnt move me.
"what happened?" he asks as clary and jace aproach both of them have this look on their faces."what did you find out?" alec asks he shifts me in his lap making me whimper.
"valentine is clary and gracie's father..." jace says making me tensen up.
i look up from alec's chest where i had burried my head and look at clary as she looks down at the ground.
"clary?" i ask looking at her confused. she doesnt even lift her head to look at me.
"your telling me this girl shows up out of nowhere and she's valentines daughter?"alec asks his voice tensen and annoyed"did it not occour to you that she might be a spy?" he asks jace angrily.
"take a step back alec....one of those daughters in in your lap so shut it." jace tells alec making him huff.
i assume hes going to push me off but he doesnt instead he sides of the rock and pulls on onto his hip making me frown.
"do you think i planned for your mom to gte kidnapped?" clary asks looking at alec annoyed."or for dot to get taken?" clary asks. i look at her and see tears rolling down her face."Or to have a giant sword dangle over my head and find out that my father is one of the most dangerous people in the world?" she says making me finally realise how fucked up this really is.
i whimper and dig my head into alec's shoulder.
"where's simon?" i hear clary asks quickly.
izzy comes rushing over and stands next to alec.
"where's simon?" clary asks looking at her.
"i told him to stay in the van." izzy explains making clarys eye's widen."i've looked everywhere....he's gone." izzy says making my eyes widen.
"you were suposed to protect him....give me my sister."clary tells alec. he lets me down and she grabs my hand tightly making me whimper and she rushes off holding onto my arm tightly
"clary." i whimper as she pulls me along painfully.
"simon?!" she screams as we reach the van. she lets go of my hand and rushes forwards knocking me off my feet and onto my knees scrapping them on the floor.
i sit down on the floor whimpering moving myb skirt to look at them. blood rushes out of the cuts on my knees making me cry.
i didnt realise it but someone aproaches grabbing me by the back of my jacket and pulling me away making me scream. i close my eyes as i feeln myself being pulled.
i can hear clary screaming for simon.
"is that the mundanes name?" a voice says right next to me making me open my eyes.
i look down and see that were ontop of the bridge,. simon is hanging next to me a large man holding him another smaller man holding me upright.
"what about this pretty girl." he asks looking at me smirking making me cry.
"I'm afraid Simon's and pretty here are coming with us." the man thats holding me say making me whimper. i look down and make eye contact with alec and i see his fists clench.
"No! No, he's not a part of this just let them go." clabry shouts up tears in her eyes.
"And it'll be my pleasure to kill you unless you return them."jace shouts up angrily.
"Careful. We'd be violating the Accords."alec mutters looking at jace.
"I'm afraid your sidekick's quite right. The Night Children have broken no laws. We're negotiating. The mundane and the girl, unharmed, in exchange for the Mortal Cup."the man thats holding me says pushing me forwards nearly knocking me off the bridge making me scream.
"And the clock is ticking. Tick-tock, people."the man says before im kncoked out and everything goes dark that last thing i hear is clary screaming mine and simons names.
