It's been over 12 hours since I gave birth to my baby girl I gave birth at 2:00am so it's now currently 2:15pm
Alex was still here he never left my side he literally laid on the bed beside me without the nurses knowing of course
My mum and Izzy came to visit along with penny and David Izzy held the baby in her arms smiling at her step granddaughter
"She's gorgeous"Izzy smiled my mum and penny had tears in their eyes looking at their granddaughter
David held the baby next he smiled down at her in awe
"Shehs stunnin honestleh yeh bof did brilliant"David smiled
"Ello princess grandad luvs yeh"David smiled I can tell David and the baby are going to be close it made me wish my dad was here with me no Lucy stop thinking that
After an hour or so everybody except Alex left
"Alex go home an get a proper sleep or even a shower"I chuckled if Alex left I wouldn't be alone I had the baby and Courtney is coming to visit with her family
"Nope"Alex stated like a little kid shaking his head
"Alex please for me"i sighed Alex finally gave in
"Fine but I'm coming back first fing Tomorrow"he mumbled grabbing his jacket and giving me a long kiss
"I luv yeh"Alex smiled
"I love you more"I smiled back Alex had a smirk on his face
"I were talking teh mini mEh"he chuckled
"Cheeky basterd"I giggled
"Luv yeh bof"he called exiting the ward
Now what do I do I'm feeling hungry but I didn't want to leave the ward I smiled at my bundle of joy laying in the plastic cot sleeping peacefully
I was still in my smelly sweaty pyjamas I needed a shower but I honestly was too tired to go for one
"Hello Lucy how's the baby"a nurse around her 40s asked coming in to check on me and the baby
"Yeah she's fine she's just sleeping"I smiled
"Where's Alex"the nurse asked
"I told him to go home get some rest and a shower"i chuckled
"Why don't you go for a shower while the baby's sleeping get a break"the nurse offered I know she was only being nice plus I needed it
"No it's alright I can't leave the baby"I said the nurse mira I her name was shook her head
"I'll look after her for you"she said I nodded grabbing my bag taking it to the shower room
The shower was huge there was a seat in it just incase someone needed it
I turned it on removing my clothes waiting on the water warming up
Once I got into the shower I sighed at the relaxing feeling of the water running down my body
I looked at my belly that was now excess skin i smiled thinking only a few hours ago there was a baby in there
I washed my hair and body quickly I had to use the seat there since I was still slightly sore
I grabbed my towel drying my body and hair quickly changing into clean pyjamas which was a vest top and shorts since it's always roasting in those hospitals
I exited the shower room making my way bed to my baby I entered the room to find the nurse sitting with Courtney and her mum and dad with polly
"Oh my god hi"I smiled Courtney instantly brought me into a hug
"I'm so proud of you she's perfect she looks like her mummy"Courtney smirked knowing full well she was Alex's spitting image
"Oh Lucy honey congratulations"Stacy squealed bringing me into a hug
Courtney's dad john was sitting with polly who is nearly one now in his arms
"You did amazing love"John smiled I went over to the nurse thanking her for looking after the baby and she left
"Sorry I have to change her nappy"i chuckled everyone nodded understandingly
I quickly changed the baby's nappy and changed her pyjamas
"She's so cute"Courtney smiled having a hold of her
"Oh where's Alex"Stacy asked
"He's home I told him to get some rest and a shower"I chuckled
(Next morning)
I woke up to see Alex holding the baby studying her face admiring her
"When did you come"I asked rubbing the sleep away from my eyes
"Well about a month or so ago"Alex smirked I rolled my eyes at him
"Haha very funny dickhead"I chuckled
"No about and hour ago"he mumbled his eyes focused on the baby again until the nurse Mira came over
"Lucy oh hello Alex"Mira smiled
"Hello Mira"I smiled Alex nodded to say hello
"So we have some news you can go home today"Mira announced I felt so happy I can finally get the baby settled
"What time will I be out at"I asked
"I'm not too sure hopefully not long dear"she smiled
"Thought of a name yet"Mira asked me and Alex looked at each other as if to say what the fuck
"We had Rhiannon at the top of our list"i chuckled
"Like the fleetwood Mac song"Mira chuckled I nodded
"It suits her a lot"Mira smiled Before exiting the room
"So weh calling her Rhiannon then"Alex asked he always had his heart set on the name and so did I
"It suits her"I said giggling
"Our baby Rhiannon"Alex smiled
"Ri or riri for short"i chuckled
"Yeah"Alex chuckled Back
"I've got a middle name"i chuckled Alex nodded for me to continue
"So Rhiannon penny Turner"I smiled Alex had a wide smile on his face
"Yeh wanna use mEh mums name as her middle name"Alex asked I nodded
"Then it's settled Rhiannon penny Turner"Alex smiled
"We'll go to the register office next week"I stated Alex nodded
After an hour I had been told I can go home David came to pick us up with a car seat since me or Alex didn't have a car Alex was in the middle of setting his driving lessons
The drive went with me being completely paranoid with all the bumps on the road since Rhiannon is so delicate right now
Finally we got home I opened the door while Alex held Rhiannon in the car seat David just went home I walked into the living room to find 4 faces sitting there waiting on our arrival
"Guys what are you doing here"I asked them Jamie stood up to hug me
"Not yeh anehwaeh we're here teh see the babeh"he chuckled making me laugh
"Everehbodeh maeh I present teh yeh all"Alex started hiding from the others
"Rhiannon penny turner"he announced entering the living room showing ri off
"Oh my god"Nick and Matt gasped
"For fooks sake she's cute"Jamie said
"Sheh looks like Lucy I'm sorreh al but it's an insult if I saeh sheh looks like yeh"Nick said making us all giggle
"Fook off yeh wankers"Alex chuckled shaking his head

"Great"me and Alex said at the same time

Tonight is the first night of Rhiannon settling into the house of course we had her in our room in her Moses basket
I laid with Alex snuggling I missed being home with him
"I missed yeh"Alex chuckled
"I missed you more"I replied smiling i laid on belly I let out a sigh
"God I missed laying on my stomach"I said i always slept on my stomach but obviously pregnancy stopped that
"I'm going for a cig yeh coming"Alex asked I nodded i quickly made sure Ri was alright and went to the front door for a cig
I honestly missed cigarettes Alex let out a laugh making me furrow my brows at him
"What"I asked
"Looks like yer making luv teh the cig"he chuckled I rolled my eyes
"What do you expect Alex I've been cigless for months"I giggled
"Come on let's go to bed"I declared once we finished our cigarettes
Alex nodded and followed me back into our bedroom
"I can't believe Shehs here now"Alex chuckled looking at his daughter
"I know"I chuckled now stood beside him I placed a hand on his shoulder and he wrapped an arm around my waist
We just stood there admiring our bundle of joy we made just us three against the world
I glanced up at Alex to see nothing but love in his eyes still fixed on Rhiannon
I placed a light kiss on Alex's jaw Alex looked at at me since Even though Alex is short I'm shorter I'm 5,3
"I luv yeh"Alex smiled I blushed slightly
"I love you more handsome"I replied Alex leaned down pecking my lips a few times
"Come on luv lets get some sleep shorteh will beh up soon"Alex chuckled I nodded slipping into the covers and Alex did the same on the other side
I rested my head on Alex's now bear chest
"Night Alex"I whispered snuggling into him
"Night Lucy"he mumbled back holding me tightly
(Two weeks later)
"Babeh have yeh seen mEh blue shirt"Alex called from the bathroom I rolled my eyes
"Check your drawer Alex I'm trying to change RiRi"i called back changing Rhiannon's nappy
Today we're going to my mums for dinner since me or Alex haven't been out much since we had Rhiannon only time we went out was for shopping or when we had to register Rhiannon
Apart from that we're literally at home parents our family and friends have been visiting all the time which was always fun
"Have you found it"I asked changing Rhiannon into a little dress since it was warm today
"No fooks sake"Alex groaned I could hear him throwing clothes everywhere
"You better put them back"I called
"Can yeh find it for mEh"Alex asked entering Rhiannon's room
"Hold her and I'll find it"i sighed handing Ri to Alex
I went to Alex's top drawer where I last seen his shirt
And there it was in plain sight 'men I swear' I chuckled to myself
"Alex what's this"I asked entering Rhiannon's room
"How the fook did yeh find tha'"he asked shocked "in the drawer where I told you"I said he shook his head
"It defo weren't there when I looked"he mumbled
Finally after ten minutes of walking to my mums we finally were at the front door
"Hello Lucy"Izzy beamed opening the door
"Hello"I smiled Izzy gave me and Alex a hug
We all entered the house we stood in the hallway while Izzy went into the living room
I heard a mans laughter not just any mans my dads
Alex took Rhiannon out her pram i entered the living room with them
All eyes were on us my dad looked at me with sorrow
"What's he doing here"I asked
"I came over to see you"my dad said I laughed a cold laugh
"Okay you know what I'll play happy family's today only because Rhiannon's here"i sighed my dad had confusion over his face
"Who's Rhiannon"my father asked I scoffed Alex hadn't entered the living room yet he was getting stuff out of the baby's bag
"Oh you wouldn't know"I spat Alex then entered the living room holding Rhiannon in his arms
"Oh my god you meant the baby"my dad gasped
"Oh so now you care"I said sitting on the settee with Alex beside me
"Lucy don't get angreh the now not infront of Ri"Alex softly whispered
"Sorry"i mumbled rolling my eyes
The tension was heavy in the room my mum and Izzy left to make dinner
"So how old is she"my dad asked I didn't say anything
"Shehs two weeks now"Alex said
"Lucy can I have a look"my dad asked I shook my head
"You didn't care when I was pregnant why now"I sighed
"Come on mardeh sheh is his granddaughter"Alex said
"Fine"I sighed
Alex handed Rhiannon to my dad who looked at her smiling
"She's beautiful"my dad smiled i hummed in response
Okay I know I shouldn't be still pissed well I should but not infront of my daughter
"I'm sorry Lucy I've been a shit father"my dad started to get teary eyed
"You have been a shit dad but your here now"I smiled
Dinner went smoothly it was like the old days I was happy I have my dad back
Me and Alex sat in our living room watching tv Rhiannon was asleep in our room
"I'm glad yeh and yer dad are back teh normal"Alex smiled
"Me too"I sighed
Soon enough we were interrupted by Rhiannon for her feed we were so lucky Rhiannon was a quite baby she rarely cried she was such a happy baby despite only being 2 weeks old
Alex went to get her bottle in the little Tommy tippie bottle warmer bag and I was off to get my little princess
There she was her dark brown hair her little nose like her dads her daddy's eyes my lips she had my head shape but Alex's features she's absolutely beautiful I wouldn't change her for the world
I gently lifted her out her basket supporting her head and her lower back with my arms
Carrying her into the living room
"Can I feed her"Alex asked testing the milk so it wasn't too hot her her
"Alex you don't need to ask"I chuckled handing Rhiannon to Alex
I sat beside them watching in awe my boyfriend and our daughter bonding she was already a daddy's girl by far
I honestly can't wait for our future together the three of us against the world
