2nd person POV
"Wow is that?!" Nishinoya yelled
"I think it is!" Tanaka yelled
"The sky tree!" The two of them yelled in unison
"Nah, that's just a regular old steel tower." Kai, the vice captain of the Nekoma team said earning a laugh from Kuroo
"AHHHHH WE'RE IN TOKYOOOOOO!" Tanaka and Nishinoya ignored them
"Doesn't seem that much different from back home in Miyagi" Asahi mumbled
"Well we are out in the suburbs you know" Suga pointed out
"Wake up already!" Noya said as he pushed a yawning Tsukishima
"TETSU!!!!" You yelled as you ran and hugged Kuroo.
"N/n! What's up man!" He hugged you back and ruffed your hair
"Not much, just here to kick your ass."
"Hah, we'll see about that."
"This is Yachi." You said as the blond girl walked up beside you "She's the new manager."
"Nice to meet you." He said and Yachi just yelped.
"She's kinda skittish" You whispered. "I'll see you later" You smiled and walked away with Yachi
"Wait a second.... Aren't you missing a few guys?" Kuroo said to Daichi
"Well you see....Hinata failed English, all his answers were off by one while Kageyama failed Japanese, he said he didn't expect so many reading comprehension problems."
"So the dynamic duo had to stay and take supplementary lesions"
"Well uh.... That's not exactly uh-"
"OH! NOW THERE'S THREE OF THEM?!" Yamamoto yelled and dropped to his knees "ONES THE SEXY KIND, ONES THE PRETTY KIND AND THE OTHER IS THE CUTE KIND! I'M NOT WORTHY OF SUCH A BLESSINGGGGG!"
You laughed and rolled your eyes while Kiyoko stuck her hand out in front of a sacred Yachi.
"Take a good look tiger head." Tanaka said "Behold the glory of going to Karasuno high!"
Yamamoto groaned, Tanaka laughed and You, Yachi and Kiyoko just walked away.
After unpacking everything you all went to the gym and once you all talked for a bit the games started.
Karasuno lost against Fukurodani and did flying laps.
"Wow, that's powerful." Yachi shuttered.
You looked over and saw she was watching The Ubugawa high and Shinzen game.
"Every member of that team has an especially good serve." Kiyoko said
"Oh yeah, I remember the manager of the Ubugawa team telling us they put a lot of effort into serving."
"Yep. I guess ending practice with 100 serves really makes a difference." You said.
"At Ubugawa high school, serving is their specialty." Kiyoko said
"They are good but if we can hit their serve back at them..." Ukai said as the Shinzen team received the ball
"Wow, all of them went for it at the same time." Yachi pointed out
"See that combo" Kiyoko said
"Yikes, they were all jumping all over the place so I couldn't tell who was gonna hit the ball!"
"That's the point of combo moves, to confuse the living hell out of the opposite team." You said
"Shinzen high school, masters of combo moves." Kiyoko said.
"And of course there's our sworn rivals," Takeda said as you all looked back at Nekoma.
"That receive is still as flawless as ever" Ukai pointed out
"They always stay together and are ready to strike back." Takeda said "they are a solid team."
"No joke."
"Just like Shiritoriza they've got one of the top aces in the nation. I'm really glad we got to be a part of this. A powerhouse at the national level with a legendary ace. Fukurodani academy. It's great we get to face a team like them." Takeda said
"Pretty cool. Still this isn't the time to be intimidated" Ukai reminded you. "We have to stay focused when we're going toe-to-toe with these guys."

Hours passed and you didn't win a single game. At this point all the other teams were really worried about you.
'It's not that they're bad, it's just, they are average and they're going up against national level teams.'
"Oh sick! They're still at it! We made it just in time!" A blond woman said as she opened the door
"Big sis!" Noya yelled
"I had no idea you had a big sister Nishinoya." Asahi pointed out
"No he does, two of them. But she doesn't look like his sisters." You said
"That's because that's Tanaka's older sister!" Nishinoya replied
"Glad you dummies could make it out." Tanaka said
"So the main characters show up fashionably late?" Kuroo chuckled, "Oh how tacky."
Everyone looked over at the door as the two first years bent over and panting, trying to catch their breath.
They walked in and got their jerseys on. Ready to play and right when they did, there was a lot more ass kicking.

After a few more games the day was over and you were sitting in the girls room.
"Ok lemme make sure i got this right" You said "You're Yukie and Kaori the managers of Fukurodani." You pointed to the girls and they nodded "You're Mako, Shinzen's manager." She smiled at you "And your Eri, manager of Ubugawa." She nodded. "Ok!" You smiled knowing you managed to get everyone's names and teams right.
"You're Y/n the student coach, you're Kiyoko and you're Yachi, the managers." Kaori said.
"Exactly." Kiyoko said
"Well now that we have that out of the way, how do you guys like the camp so far?" Yukie asked
"I think it's great" Kiyoko said
"Yeah it's really cool to see so many great players, I wish I could get out there with them." You said
"Oh yeah, you used to play didn't you?" Eri asked
"Yeah, I was the libero."
"What happened?"
"I have this heart condition, long QT. Basically my heart will stop for a few seconds if I push myself physically."
"I'm so sorry." Mako said placing a hand on your shoulder
"It's ok, don't worry."
Silence followed
"Ok i really wanna know, who do you think is the hottest guy here?" Yukie asked
"Dude, do we really have to talk about that?" Kaori said, nudging her.
"Oh don't be so dramatic, it's just a question. It's not like you have to answer, for all I know you don't even like guys." Yukie said. "Soooooo anyone have their eye on one of the guys? I personally think that Akaashi is gorgeous and I know Eri has been looking at that little orange haired kid." she said, earning a 'hey!' from the girl "How about you Kiyoko?" She asked.
Everyone looked at the third year
"Well... I um.....I kinda have a little thing for Tanaka." She said
"Really?!" Yachi yelled "But he's always asking you out and you always say no!"
"Yeah... I know...."
"Tanaka is the bald one right? The one who's older sister was here?" Mako asked
"Yep."
"He's a pretty strong player." Kaori pointed out
"A nut job that's what he is." You laughed.
"He doesn't seem that bad!" Yukie said
"Yeah well you don't have to spend 3 hours 5 days a week with him!" You said
"Hey he's not that different from Noya!" Kiyoko said
"Noya?" Kaori asked
"Noya is our libero, Nishinoya." Yachi clarified. "Y/n lives with him and well..."
"She's totally got the hots for him!" Yukie yelled "I saw you staring at him! Don't even try to deny it!"
"Don't worry I'm not gonna! I've actually kissed him."
"Really?!" They all yelled
"So are you guys like a thing?" Eri asked
"Not officially no..."
"Well we can't have that!" Yukie jumped up
"No, you are not playing matchmaker again!" Kaori said, trying to pull her back to the ground.
"Please we have to help her!" She pleaded with her friend.
".....fine- but only if y/n is ok with it!"
Everyone looked at you
"I'm down!" You laughed
Yukie rushed over to her bag and grabbed a pen and paper and said "Perfect! Let's get down to business!"

The group of you decided that when everyone came back for the week long training camp you would pull Noya away on the last day. There was this cherry blossom tree outside and the girls would set up a little picnic there. They would also let select few people know so they could make sure no one would interrupt. The two of you would eat the little snacks and then before you left you would ask him to be your boyfriend.
"Ugh this is so romantic!" Yukie squeaked.
"I can't waitttttt!" Eri giggled.
"I really like this plan." Kiyoko said.
"Same!" Yachi agreed.
After a few more minutes of talking and goofing off you decided to head to bed and the next day everyone worked hard and kicked ass. You went home and continued with school.
Honestly you weren't really present during the time you were back in Miyagi. You were there physically, yeah, but mentally all you could do was think about what was going to happen in just over a week.
'What should I wear? What should I say? What if he says something? WHAT IF HE SAYS NO?!'
"Y/n can you chill!" Jiyu said shaking your arms, pulling you out of your thoughts
You were sitting on the roof in your usual spot eating lunch with Jiyu, Kiyoko and Yachi.
"What?"
"You have been shaking, are you ok? Should I go get the nurse?" she said standing up, probably thinking that it had something to do with your heart condition.
"No no, I'm alright. I'm just planning something."
"Oh, what?" She calmed and sat down again
"Um....i'm gonna ask Nishi out...."
"Nishi? As in Nishinoya on the volleyball team? The one you live with?" You nodded "You like him?" You nodded "Oh....i'm sorry. I had no idea-me saying all the stuff must have felt weird for you."
"It's not your fault you didn't know." You said
"Yeah but i'm your friend, i should have picked up on the signals. I'm so sorry." She said looking down
"Like i said, it's not your fault, if you like someone it's not something you can control."
"The thing is, I don't even like him! I just think he is attractive! I like this girl in our class. I've had a thing for her since the beginning of the year!"
"Then why are you freaking out?"
"Because I'm still your friend! I should have paid more attention to the way you felt and not to my own insecurities." She sighed "I'm sorry and don't say it's not my fault, just accept the apology."
You looked at her and gave her a smile. "It's ok." You hugged her and the four of you continued with your lunch.
Days flew by like a breeze and the next thing you knew, you were standing in the gym with the rest of the team. The last practice before summer, the last practice before the week long training camp.
"Ok now that we've started summer break you guys are free to practice morning to night." Takeda started "Tomorrow we will be going to another training camp in Tokyo. This time we're going for an entire week. This'll be the first and last long term training camp before the preliminaries, the spring nationals are just around the corner. Use this opportunity to learn everything you can."
