"You're very pretty TaeTae" Jennie said poking his nose as he scrunched it up with the unfamiliar contact.
"Are you going to call me that all night?" He asked her as he leant against the railing of the elevator as it was descending to the ground floor from the rooftop bar they were at earlier.
Taehyung chose to park outside not bothering to go to the underground parking earlier, but now he was regretting it.
"Yep! Why, does TaeTae not like it" she asked looking down with a sniffle as he immediately waved his hands around.
"No no it's fine! Uh please don't cry?" He said not knowing his situation, but sighed in immediate relief as she perked up.
"Okay! Let's get ice cream" she suddenly said making him confused.
"Didn't we just drink?" He questioned and then realised his position of talking to a completely hammered girl.
"How about, you and me get ice cream at home okay? It's too dark outside, and there won't be any shops open. Sound good?" He asked as she let out a gummy smile that made his heart melt.
Where did this innocent kid come from?
What happened to the girl who shot someone like a few hours ago?
Is she normal?
The doors opened as Jennie dashed out squealing snapping Taehyung out his thoughts and immediately began running after the smaller girl.
He immediately caught a hold of her hand, as he held her shoulders making her face him.
"No more running off, I'm holding your hand now so you don't, okay?" He said as if he were instructing a child as she nodded.
"Okay!" She smiled again brightly making him smile as well at her energy.
An older couple passed by the two, as they witnessed the events and smiled at each other.
"You two are a cute couple. Invite me to your wedding will you?" She joked at the end as she walked on with her husband as Taehyung turned red.
"Wedding? Weddings have food! Let's get food Taeeeee!" Jennie said as he only sighed now changing his attention to her.
"At home okay? We can get food at home. Let's leave here now" he said as he began walking, not leaving her hand as she could possibly run away again, and he did the right thing as he noticed she kept fumbling her steps and crashing into his arm, which became her support pole.
He couldn't help but smile at her trying to match their steps as well.
"No one would believe me if I said that this girl is secretly a top level mafia agent" he sighed as he looked at her.
They walked out the building as he saw the outdoor parking lot he left his car in, which was at least a 10 minute walk.
"Ooh look sparking lights"
Jennie immediately grew fascinated by the car lights as she almost ran to it, but thankfully Taehyung was holding her so she didn't manage to.
He sighed before shifting her to the other side of him and using his other hand to hold hers, not wanting her to be on the side of the road.
The next few minutes consisted of Jennie acting like a kid, giggling at the most random things and thinking of milk ice cream out of no where, and Taehyung in response was keeping her under control.
It certainly must have looked cute to others, seeing a couple walking down the streets in the middle of the night, it probably looked fresh out a movie.
They finally reached the car as Taehyung opened the door for Jennie and helped her get settled, before strapping the seat belt for her.
He then closed the door and even went to the extent of flipping the child lock first.
You can never be too sure.
He then got to the other side of the car as he opened it and slipped in, and then shut the door before buckling his own seat belt and starting the engine of the car.
He placed Jennie's phone which he removed from his pocket into the front compartment of his Genesis, along with her wallet.
"Are we going to visit this person called home now?" Jennie asked excitedly facing Taehyung as he couldn't bite back a chuckle.
"Yes Jen, we're going to visit home" he said as he pulled out his parking spot, not even realising him calling her by a nick name as he drove out.
"This chair is comfy, and it moves. That's cool" she said as he smiled.
"Is it, I thought it was a cool chair too." Taehyung said as he played along with her gimmicks.
He drove into the main road and just like that they began driving on the direction of Jennie's safe house, as she childishly pointed out multiple things that would usually be considered as normal, but to her drunk mind, it seemed like the most fascinating thing on earth.
It wasn't until he was about to pass the next traffic light that a thought struck his mind causing him to go into alarm as he pulled over to a side of the road.
"Do you even remember the code of your house?" He asked after he stopped facing her as she looked at him confused with a pout.
"code?" She questioned tilting her head.
Taehyung had installed a number lock in the safe house when it was first built, and so that the guests could change the code each time they moved in.
Jennie had too, but he realised he didn't know it.
"You know, the numbers you use to go inside your home?" He asked her as she she furrowed her eyebrows.
"Why would you use numbers to go to a person?" She asked him.
"What? No no, home isn't a person. I mean your house?" He asked.
"No silly! Home is a person. Taetae are you okay?" She asked with a concerned tone as he sighed seeing that it was hopeless.
"All right. Never mind" he muttered.
"Are you okay tae?" She asked as she held his face in her hands thinking he was sad since he looked down earlier.
"I'm fine, don't worry" he said smiling to reassure her as she giggled.
She then pecked his lips as he was shocked at her actions, but then smiled at her gummy smile.
Jennie proceeded to yawn next as he held his hand over one of hers that was resting on his cheek.
"Are you tired Jen?" He asked her as she shook her head.
"Tired? No. I wanna sleep TaeTae" she said as he nodded with a small chuckle and gave a small peck to her nose.
"All right, go to sleep" he said as he leaned over to extent the chair and laid her head down, before pulling out a blanket from the dashboard and covering her with it.
He then pulled the car out of the side and took the next u turn to go to his house, and had a satisfactory smile when he glanced at her to see she was fast asleep.
