Third person's pov
It's been a month Anika started working on Oberoi fashion house. She become comfortable around her colleagues. Later after the phone call to her parents she started to get in touch with them often. The conflicts between her and dad solved. He showed green signal to her dream.
During this one month she made some small achievements. Her summer collections become trending in the market. It broke the record in Oberoi fashion house and her team got appreciated by board members.
" Anika! Thank God you came on time. I was about to call you " maya said panting heavily. She ran as soon as she known about anika's arrival.
" What happened " she asked back keeping her bag on the table.
" Today we have a meeting everyone needs to present there..." She said on the way. They both together were going to the meeting hall. When Anika entered all eyes turned to her. Some of them were jealous while some of them had admiration. She moved towards some empty seats and sat there pulling Maya along with her.
Some colleagues sitting beside her congratulated her for the achievement. When she was talking to them she felt someone's eyes on her. She looked up to meet with a pair of blue eyes. Her cheeks turned red feeling his intense gaze on her. She turned her head to other side and engrossed talking with Maya.
Shivaay is sitting in the chairman's seat but his entire focus was on her. Today she was a little different wearing a white sleeveless red flower printed kurti with a pair of ankle length red leggings. Her hair left open, ears adorned with a pair of dangles. Her face is freed from makeup and looking etheral. Time to time she is tugging her hair behind the ear.
Sir?...
" Sir " Vivek called Little loudly. Shivaay startled coming out of his thoughts.
" Huh " he looked Vivek questioning.
" I was calling you from 5 minutes. The meeting is about to start "
Shivaay sat up straight and cleared his throat. Everyone got silent seeing him. He motioned the manager sitting beside him to give out a speech.
" This month was crucial to everyone. We launched our new set for summer collection. Comparitively this season broke the record of our all previous seasons. We made a extra profit of 20% this time. Thanks to Anika and her team. Their marvellous design created a new sensation to the fashion world. Mainly Anika, she joined here as a newbie but within a month she created a new record in our company. Let's applause her and the team "
Shivaay clapped followed by Vivek , department head and staffs.
Anika and her team stood from their seat and bowed infront of them in gratitude.
" And one more thing. considering their hardwork and dedication we are giving them another task. Anika and her team will represent the Oberoi fashion house in this year's london fashion week.. Thank you everyone for gathering here "
Nitya and Maya hugged Anika in excitement as soon as he finished while the boys hugged together. Not even in dreams they thought their group get a chance in that show. Everyone congratulated them and left the meeting room as meeting ended.
Shivaay stared Anika. Her face is gleaming with a wide smile on her face. His lips formed a thin line seeing her. He buttoned up his coat getting up from the seat and went towards the door but suddenly he turned around to meet with her gaze. She is staring him back with a smile on her face.
" Congratulations Anika " he said absent minded. Suddenly he realised what he said. He looked up to see her staring him back in surprise. His lips formed a thin line to her and walked outside.
Vivek saw the little interaction between them. It's the first time he is seeing shivaay speaking to someone softly other than his family. He is cold and arrogant business man to the others. Following shivaay for many years he know how was he. He is a person of few words.
" Congrats guys today is my treat. Let's go and rock the day babes " Arjun exclaimed happily. He was happy for the success of his teammates.
" I am not coming you guys go and enjoy " Anika said packing her bag. They took a day off to celebrate. Anika planned to go to her apartment and Take some rest.
" Come on Ani it's been so long we gone out like this. You refused the dinner earlier atleast accompany us today " Arjun put his hand on her shoulder.
"Okay but first take off your hands frm my shoulder" she took away his hand and walked front.
"But i always put my hands around you in college " he rushed behind.
"They look like a perfect couple right? " Nitya said suddenly out of nowhere.
"Yaa i heard they studied on same class in college" Maya said as they walked forward.
"Where are we going now?" Aayush asked.
"What about the new Italian restaurant opened beside the City Mall" laksh replied
"I heard the food is delicious there. Let's go" ritika intruded between them.
" You always think about food " laksh teased her.
They were walking out of the company bickering and pulling each other's leg so that they didn't notice someone's strong gaze on them.
Shivaay who was about to enter his car heard them shipping Anika and Arjun. He only heard that word or we can say focused on that sentence. Suddenly he saw Anika walking front followed by Arjun and he suddenly pulled her hair from back. She turned around and slapped his hand away. seeing both of them together made him furious.
Shivaay took his phone and called akash.
" Hello shivaay " he heard a sleepy voice from other side.
" Are you free ? " He asked.
" Cut the crap tell me why did you call me at this time " he replied irritated. He came back by morning after finishing a whole night long surgery. His friend here didn't let him sleep for some time.
" Come to the restaurant near City Mall i have some thing to ask you " shivaay said to him. It was like an order more than a request.
" Idiot " akash muttered looking at the phone. Shivaay hung up the phone before he could speak.

" This is the important discussion you have with me " akash gritted his teeth looking at shivaay who is sitting infront of him.
His full focus was on Anika who is sitting a three table away from them. Beside her was arjun which increased his anger. He was serving her much to his dismay.
Shivaay saw Arjun helping her wipe with a napkin as something stuck on her lips.
" Are you plan to kill him by your eyes or going to see them enjoying the whole day" he suddenly asked shivaay impatiently.
Shivaay called him here saying something to discuss even disturbing his sleep. Now they were staring at other people having food for the past one hour. The waiter who came to them first politely was now glaring them as they were sitting in the restaurant without ordering anything.
" You can calm down your hunger by staring her. I am ordering something" akash called the waiter.
Finally he came to them smiling. He was all grumpy before. He gave his order and turned to shivaay.
" Do you want anything? " He asked.
Shivaay motioned his hand indicating nothing.
" That's all" akash gave the menu to the waiter after finishing his order.
He looked back at shivaay who is still focusing on Anika. This is the first time he saw shivaay behaving like this. Earlier many girls would throw up on him as soon as they saw him. But he was never interested in them. Akash felt she is special because she made the great shivaay Singh Oberoi a puppy.
" Shivaay tell the truth don't you like her " he asked suddenly.
" i don't want my fiance to roam around with another man " shivaay said as his lips formed a thin line
Akash: ...........
" What " instead of one shivaay heard two gasp and the person turned to him in shocked face.
