The next day Ishaan dropped me back to Aishwarya's penthouse. He stopped his car in front of the penthouse building.
I cupped his face and said, "I had a great time Ishu baby."
He looked into my eyes lovingly and said, "I'm glad I could make it memorable for you."
I said, "I should get going."
Ishaan asked, "wanna meet today evening?"
I said, "I would've loved to but I've ad shoot with Victoria's secret today and tomorrow."
Ishaan said, "uhm.....okay so Monday I'll see you. You'll stay with me baby. " he winked I blushed.
We kissed each other and then I got out of the car. I could see pure love in his eyes. I realised that I've fallen in love totally with Ishaan.
But does he feel the same? Time will tell. I love Ishaan and I trust him with all my heart.
ISHAAN MEHRA
I dropped Riya around 10am and came to my office. Ugh....there's too much to do. It's been 3 freaking hours and I've been working non stop this is so frustrating and irritating. Soon I heard a knock on my cabin door.
I yelled, "come in." My PA entered.
My PA said, "sir there's a phone call for you from Dubai." Wow phone call from Dubai? Don't tell me there's a new problem.
I said, "yes I'm coming." I went out and attended the phone call. It was our CA Mr Iqbal Sheikh on the line.
I said, "yes Mr Sheikh tell me."
Iqbal said, "Sir sorry to bother you but there's a problem over here. Mr Gaurav, Mr Keshav and Mr Ayush are not here in Dubai no one from the Mehra family is here. Keshav sir asked me to call you and inform you about the same. You may have to come here for a week sir. Vivek sir and Nishant sir are busy hence they couldn't come. The board of directors and investors wish to meet you sir."
Iqbal explained the situation to me. It seemed to be quite serious. But the mess here also needs attention. I have to think about something.
Iqbal said, "Mr Mehra?"
I said, "yes Mr Iqbal I'll be leaving today itself. I'll take the next flight to Dubai from LA."
Iqbal said, "right sir. Thankyou for your time." We hung up.
Oh God! My work life is officially fucked up. Ugh.....what shall I do. Yaa right this would be perfect. I called Nirav. He answered.
"Yes asshole. What the hell are you upto these days Mr workaholic Mehra?"
I said, "don't ask buddy." I explained the entire situation of my company to Nirav.
Nirav said, "done dude I'll take care of everything in LA don't you worry you go to Dubai."
I said, "you're a saviour dude thanks man."
Nirav said, "shut up buddy cut the formality now go run."
I said, "yeah bye." I disconnected the call and informed my PA and rushed to my mansion.
As soon as I reached the mansion I informed Ash and Mike and I packed my essentials and rushed to the airport.
I hope everything falls into place. Oh God! How I wish Ayush, Dad and Gaurav Chachu were there. I was totally stressing out. God help me clear this mess. I boarded the flight to Dubai. It was a chaotic journey from the entrance of the LA airport to the emirates boarding gate to 15hr 50 mins of flying finally I landed In Dubai. Feels good to be back home. I got out of the aircraft completed the immigration process and went to the carousel and collected my baggage.
The moment I collected my baggage I got a conference call. It was from Nishant and Vivek. I answered.
"Hey people what's going on?"
Vivek said, "landed in dubai?"
Nishant said, "welcome back buddy."
I said, "yeah just collected my baggage from the carousel. Where are you guys? Iqbal said you all are super busy."
Nishant said, "yeah I'm in Doha actually for a meeting with my brother Nihar I'll be back 4 days later."
Vivek said, "I'm in Abu Dhabi for a conference with my brother Vihaan. I'll be back in 5 days"
I said, "oh cool."
Vivek said, "dude how long will you be staying here?"
I said, "I don't know how long will it take for my work to get completed. Till 2-3 weeks. After dad, Gaurav Chachu and Ayush come back I'll go back to LA. My work life is fucked up totally."
Nishant said, "chill bro it'll be fine don't worry. Neha and Shreya can help you feel free to ask for their help if you want."
I said, "I will thankyou."
Vivek said, "we gotta catch up or else we won't let you fly back to LA."
I chuckled and said, "sure sure." After talking for a while I hung up.
I just couldn't think of anything else apart from the work, meeting and different ways to sort out my work life mess ugh.....!

Soon I went outside and found my chauffeur waiting for me. I got inside the car and went home. Home sweet home.

3 days Later
This weekend was quite busy for me. Finally it's a wrap for the Victoria's secret ad shoot. I have a runway in 3 days. Tuesday evening is quiet and pleasant. So I have 2 full days Wednesday and Thursday and I can spend time with my Ishaan. I tried calling him but he didn't answer. I went to his mansion but everything was locked up. Where is he? Why can't he inform me! I was worried. Shall I confess my feelings to him? No no Ri let's wait for the right time. I'm so happy and excited to see what will his reaction be when I tell him that I'm madly in love with him. Soon I felt someone hit my head.
I groaned, "ouch. What.?"
Aishwarya said, "we're calling out your name for the past 15 minutes and you seem to be lost."
Karina said, "what's with the blush? I'm noticing you for the past three days you blush a lot and you seem to be lost somewhere. What's the matter?" I just blushed profusely.
Aishwarya said, "oh seems like someone made up with their boyfriend."
They both chuckled and winked. I blushed.
I told them about what Ishaan did for me about our wonderful date.
Karina said, "oh someone is in love." Aishwarya and Karina winked and gave each other a high five. I shook my head.
Aishwarya asked, "have you confessed?"
I said, "not yet. Waiting for the right time. I haven't figured out whether he has feelings for me or not. Hey I've been trying to call him since 2 days he's not answering. I went to his mansion as well but the gates were closed no one was there. I'm worried. Where is he. I hope he's ok. Chhavi and Sahil also don't know anything."
Aishwarya said, "chill Ri. He's busy. Its ok. It happens. Give him some space. Chill. He'll call you back when he's free."
I said, "yeah his work life is messed up he explained the entire situation to me sounded quite bad. My poor Ishu is taking care of everything alone. His dad, uncle and Ayush seem to be quite busy with other things."
Karina said, "right take it slow don't rush into things don't stress Ri please relax. He'll come around or we'll track him down. Now smile." I giggled. They hugged me.
Aishwarya said, "Don't let your imagination run wild. Trust me I feel you guys are going to last forever and he really loves you I've observed him come on, right Karina?"
Karina said, "yeah right. Come on it's 7pm already let's cook something together. Ri don't think too much. He might be really busy. Have faith Ri."
I smiled and nodded. We cooked food and had a crazy time together. After eating dinner we cleared the kitchen. Aishwarya and Karina went to the living room and started scrolling through Netflix. I was drinking water. I heard my phone ring. It was Shreya bhabhi and Neha bhabhi calling. It was a conference call. I answered.
"Hey Shreya bhabhi and Neha bhabhi, wassup?"
Shreya and Neha said at the same time, "hey Ri we're fine we're here at Neha's place."
I said, "oh girls day out nice nice. What plans?"
Neha said, "nothing much just came back we saw a movie today. Now having dinner together at my place."
I said, "oh which movie?"
Shreya bhabhi said, "Emily in Paris."
I said, "oh wow I've heard that's a great film. I wanna watch it but I'm busy."
Neha bhabhi said, "it's a nice one. It'll be coming on Netflix you can watch it anytime don't worry."
Shreya bhabhi said, "not done Ri I'm upset with you."
I asked, "why bhabhi? What did I do?"
Neha said, "couldn't you just join Ishaan to Dubai we would've had a gala time like last time we had when you guys came. That was so much fun man."
Shreya said, "this time we're sparing you not next time."
I was confused.
I asked, "what? Ishaan is in Dubai?"
Neha said, "wow, really Ri don't act as if you didn't know he's here in Dubai come on."
I said, "uh...uh... yeah yeah right. I was also quite busy with my shoot and runway prep that it slipped out of my mind." I lied.
We spoke for a while afterwards I hung up.
Why the hell did he not tell me about his trip to Dubai? What is going on in his life? Is he hiding something from me? I was worried here he didn't even bother to let me know or call me back or reply to my texts hell he didn't even open it and see. Is he having an affair? Did this relationship mean nothing to him? No no Riya stop thinking like that. I hope he's safe and fine.
