6 Years Later:
I can't believe it's already been 6 years. Jared is almost a teenager can you believe that. Wolf pups, grow so much faster than humans. It's so uncanny, I had a baby girl. Her name is Sophie she is the cutest thing ever.
Jared was an adorable baby. But now he is a handful even Oliver is stressing at how Jared is maturing so fast. Sophie was just born a few days ago, she has a long ways to go. She has this beautiful ginger hair. Like my mom did, she looks a lot like me. We even have two dog's a gorgeous husky Lilly, and a german shepard Rosco.
Hearing the door open, looking over from the kitchen. Jared, and his friends walking in. Jared calling out "mom?! I am home!" I call out from the kitchen "Hey sweetie how was school?" He walks into this kitchen, grabbing a drink "a total bummer. Mr. Herald is making us read the Diary of Anne Frank"
I smile listening chopping up vegetables "oh that sounds interesting" Jared nods opening the dr pepper. His friends come in "hey Mrs. Vincent!" I look over smiling "oh hey boys" Jared runs his fingers through his hair "well mom we're going outside to the pool. It's very out today"
I look at the temp from my apple watch "geez yes it is. Holy moly! 90 degrees!" Oliver walks in asking "what's 90 degrees honey?" As he kisses me head "oh um the temp love it's 90" Oliver groans "no wonder it's hot outside" Oliver looks over at Jared "hey son how was school?"
Jared shrugs "same old, same old" I say as I am season the steaks "honey Jared here has to read the Diary of Anne Frank" Oliver looks at Jared "oh really? Their making people your age read that?" Jared nods "yup"
Sophie crawls in reaching up for Oliver. Oliver looks down "hey my little princess. Look at you so adorable as ever! Helping Mommy cook?" Sophie smiles. She has Oliver's blue eyes, Jared smiles at his sister. Sure he is a teenager, but he still has a soft spot for his little sister.
Jared smiles "well we will be outside okay?" Oliver, and I both nod. Oliver calls out"okay! but be careful! On that waterfall! I still have to fix that brick!" Oliver smiles shaking his head "he is growing to fast" Sophie giggles.
Oliver looks down at her "don't grow to fast okay please" Kissing his daughters head. Hearing the boys outside screaming in the pool. Rain smiles + he is going to be a great Alpha someday + Oh i know he will be.
The doorbell rings, Lilly and Rosco barking at it. Oliver puts Sophie down, in her playpen outside in the shade. Grabbing the steaks from the counter. Walking outside to grill it. I call out "I'll get it!"
Whipping off my hands with my apron. Opening the door seeing Daisy, Charlotte, Mark, Garrett, and their kids. Chloe, and Heather. The girls run past me almost knocking me over "holy crap geez! What's the rush!" Lilly and Rosco following behind them. Wagging their tails.
Garrett and Mark call out "hey! Hey! be careful! Stop running!" The girls yell back "sorry dad!" They shake their heads "i swear I am getting grey hair" Daisy, and Charlotte hug me "hey Shir everyone outside?" I nod "yup come on in" I shut the door behind me.
Jared looks over seeing Chloe, and Heather "come on in girls!" I smile. Daisy, Charlotte, and I sit in the shade next to Sophie. Watching the kids play in the pool Charlotte says "Jared is growing into such a handsome boy" I smile nodding "yeah he will be 15 soon"
Daisy looks at me shocked "damn he is growing fast" I laugh "soon enough he will find his mate" We all laugh "oh yeah that's going to be fun" Oliver walks over to me smiling "does my little princess wanna swim?" Sophie smiles giggling.
Oliver puts her in her floaty. Holding her in the water Garrett, and Mark grilling calling out "You guys be careful! There's a baby in the pool!" Jared swims over to his little sister, twirling her around in the pool "wheee Sophie" She giggles smiling.
Daisy smiles "he loves his little sister" I nod smiling wide "he is her protector" Charlotte laughs "yeah protector until she finds her mate better watch out. Big bro don't play" I laugh drinking some tea "when she gets a mate. Is when Jared is going to go 'harm my little sister. I'll beat you up'" Daisy, and Charlotte laugh.
Lilly, and Rosco the dogs jump into the pool. Swimming around Mark, and Garrett call out "foods done come on everyone!" I smile getting up, handing a towel to Oliver. He smile drying Sophie off. The big kids running into the kitchen. Garrett, Oliver, and Mark calling out "woah,woah! slow down! Make a line!"
Oliver gets me my food smiling at me "here baby" I smile at him "thanks sweetheart. Can you get Sophie's baby food?" He nods "of course" He comes back with Sophie's tiny baby bowl "here you go princess"
I grab the spoon feeding her "here comes the train. Choo choo!" Sophie smiles eating it. Chloe, and Heather eating their food. Chloe saying "did you hear that their having a dance school?" Heather squeals "omg I know right! I am so excited!" Jared grins smiling "so Chloe who are you taking?" Chloe blushes "i..I don't know no one has asked me yet"
Daisy nudges me giggling saying "I bet you they will be mates. Watch" I smile "you got yourself a bet" Jared looks at her "Chloe I forgot to tell you. You looked cute today" She giggles smiling "omg really!? Thank you Jar"
Garrett glares at Jared, as he eats his green beans "don't get any funny ideas boy" I snicker. Jared gulps "n..no sir never" Garrett shakes his head saying "good. Cause than I'd have to chase you down!" Oliver laughs "Garrett bro. You're scared of your own shadow. You ain't going to do shit!"
Garrett pouts "I can too!" Mark rolls his eyes saying "okay remember last time you threatened Dustin Fletcher that football jock. That took your ball in Middle school, he swung one punch at you. You went down seeing stars, circling around your head"
Mark, Daisy, Oliver, and I laugh. Garrett glares "I punched him!" Oliver says "no you lightly tapped him like a girl tap" Jared, and his friends start laughing. Chloe, and Heather giggle. Garrett mumbling "assholes giving me shit. Embarrass me infront of my kid you pricks"
Daisy rubs his back "it's okay honey, it's okay. I am sure you really gave him hell" Garrett beams with happiness "Oh I did he ran" Oliver and Mark laugh really loud "he ran or you did?" Garrett kicks them under the table.
"Shut up!" We're laughing talking about our high school memories. Making our kids laugh. Daisy says "Oliver remember the car Shirley spray painted?" Oliver groans "not this story again!" I laugh "he had to repaint it after that too!" Daisy, Charlotte, and I laugh. Oliver glares at me sipping his pepsi "yeah very funny babe"
Jared looks over at me "mom you did that?" I nod smirking "yup, and your father hated me for it way back when" Oliver growls playfully "your an ass you know that" I giggle "Oh I know"
Oliver looks at our son "your mom was a troublesome girl" I glare at him kicking his foot. Under the table "I was not troublesome you asshole!" Oliver rolls his eyes "say that to the Vickie, you know the girl you knocked out!" My eyes go wide "you shut your mouth!"
He smirks "and If I don't?" I get up rolling up my sleeves. Getting a pool noodle Olivers eyes widen "oh shit uh-oh nope, nope, nope!" Oliver takes off running. I run after him whacking him with a pool noodle "you bitch stop running!"
He screams "ahh!!! Stop hitting you crazy woman!" I push him into the pool. Jumping in the pool. Smacking him with a pool noodle "I am so sorry Truce! Truce!" Jared laughs, his friends watching laughing "dude I love coming to Jared's. His family is hilarious!" Oliver screaming "I CAN'T BREATHE!!! GET HER OFF ME!!"
I giggle, letting him up. He gasp for air laying on the tile floor "omg I live!" everyone laughs. He dries off. Seeing my friends, and family happy together. Is all I ever wanted and I will continue to keep my families future bright.
