Michael's POV
December 31, 1993
It was New Years Eve, and I thought I'd host a small party at Neverland for my family. Whitney has officially moved into Neverland since her divorce from Bobby and was awarded sole custody of Bobbi Kristina.
Since we were supposed to attend the 26th Annual NAACP Image Awards in a few days, both Whitney and I agreed to announce our pregnancy and our love for each other there. But first, we decided it would be right for our family to know before the public does, so before the ball drops on 1994, we would let them all know that another little Jackson was coming into the family!
It was 8:00 PM, and nearly my whole family had arrived at the main house. One of my top maids was watching Bobbi Kristina so Whitney and I could focus on the gathering and our big announcement later in the evening! Coming to the door, I walked out the door and down the steps as Whitney stood beside the doorway.
My mother, Katherine stepped up first and said as she ran to greet me, saying,
"Michael, baby! How are you!"
I said as he greeted my mother with a hug,
"Hello Mother, I'm doing well. How are you?"
Katherine answered, "I'm doing just fine son."
My father, Joseph came up to his son and said while reaching his hand out to him,
"Michael, my boy! How are ya?"
I answered while taking my father's hand to shake it,
"I'm doing good, Joseph! How about you?"
Joseph answered, "I'm doing great son."
Looking past me, Katherine's jaw dropped as she saw Whitney standing by the doorway and said,
"Oh my goodness! Is that Whitney!"
With a huge smile on her face, Whitney said as she came down to greet my mother,
"Hello, Mrs. Jackson. It's a pleasure to see you again."
Giving my true love a big hug, my mother said, "It's a pleasure to see you again too, dear! I didn't know you were coming here tonight!"
Whitney said, "Michael invited me and since I was in town, I thought I'd drop by and celebrate with all of you."
My mother replied, "Well, we're more than happy to celebrate the new year with you. And by the way, congratulations on your second baby."
Whitney said with a smile, while also addressing Joseph,
"Thank you, Mrs. Jackson! I greatly appreciate it! And hello to you too, Mr. Jackson."
Joseph said, shaking Whitney's hand, "Hello, Whitney. It's great to see you again."
With that, I invited everyone inside and we all began the party. As Whitney and my sisters were conversing with each other, my mother came up to me and asked,
"Michael, is there something going on between you and Whitney?"
I answered, "Mother, don't worry. You'll find out before the New Year arrives. And besides, Whitney's helping me host this party."
Before she could ask me another question, suddenly, I saw my sister Janet arrive as she said with joy,
"Happy New Years Eve everyone!"
Everyone cheered with joy as they greeted her. Once Janet made her way over to me, I said as I outstretched my arms for a hug,
"Happy New Years Eve, Dunk!"
With a big smile, Janet said, returning my hug, "Thank you, Applehead! And Happy New Years Eve to you too!"
I said with a raised brow, "I thought your flight wasn't supposed to get in until 10:00PM."
Janet replied, "Well I was dying to come see you, so I managed to get an early flight and now here I am."
I said, "Well I'm happy you're here, Dunk."
Suddenly, Whitney joined us and Janet's eyes lit up as she exclaimed,
"Wait! Is that Whitney?!"
Whitney said with that beautiful smile of hers, "Hey girl!"
Janet said as ran to hug Whitney, "Oh my gosh! Whitney! It's so good to see you!"
Whitney replied as she embraced my sister, "It's good to see you too, Janet!"
Janet said looking at Whitney, "Oh my gosh girl! Look at you! You're all glowing and everything! Congratulations on the second child!"
Whitney said with a smile, "Thank you, girl! I appreciate it!"
Janet went on to say, "And listen, I'm sorry things turned out the way they did with Bobby. Man! You definitely deserve so much better than that dumbass!"
Whitney nodded and said in response, "Tell me about it. I'm just glad that I don't have to have anything to do with that fool anymore! But, gurrl! Let me at least say this. You definitely dodged a bullet with that fool!"
Janet replied with a scoff, "I know right? For once, my parents were actually right about getting involved in my love life. Don't tell them I said that though!"
Whitney said patting her on the shoulder, "No worries, girl! I got you!"
I smiled as I saw the two bond. I know Janet's definitely going to be ecstatic when she and the rest of the family find out that Whitney and I will be having a child together and about our relationship.

Hey guys! Here's the updated chapter 7! As I mentioned earlier in my announcement, the chapter for "Our Baby Is Kicking!" will be reuploaded in another chapter. However, I thought I'd go back and write some chapters that fit within the timeline of January 1994.
