I waved Myles bye one last time with a smile on my face before entering my house.

Shutting the door close, I leaned back on it releasing a sigh.

A grin crept its way onto my face as I recalled the events that occurred today.

The way Myles and I danced across the room, the gentle whispers we shared, the caress of his hand on my back.

"Who has you smiling so hard," A new voice said startling me.

This seems like deja vu

Looking up at the person, my mouth dropped in shock at who was before me.

"Naveah," I whispered in disbelief.

"In the flesh," She replied a grin on her face.

Seeing that it was indeed my sister before my eyes, I immediately tackled her into a hug.

"What are you doing here?" I asked as we pulled away from each other, an ear-splitting grin on my face.

"You know me, I missed home. Seeing that my new restaurant is doing just fine, I thought it was time for me to come back to Cali," She answered returning my excitement.

"Where's Noah?" I asked, curious as to why my future brother-in-law isn't here.

"He wasn't able to get away from work, so sadly it's just me," She said making me slightly upset.

However, my frown was quickly replaced by a smile when she told me he would be coming in a couple of weeks and I'll be able to see him then.

"Now, that we are done with all of that, how about you tell me why you had such a big grin on your face," She said making me tuck back a loose strand of my hair behind my ear nervously.

Before I could respond to Nevah, she grabbed my hand and pulled me into the kitchen where she already laid out some chips to eat on the island.

After we took a seat across from each other, Naveh nodded her head towards me urging me to begin talking.

So, I did.

After spilling out my guts to her about the past two months and then spending the next three hours catching up with her, I couldn't help but smile at my sister, glad to have my best friend here.

It was nice to tell Nevah everything that's going on knowing she's always there to listen and give me the best advice.

"You know, I always knew you had a thing for Myles," She said with a grin as I rolled my eyes.

"Seriously, I mean you made it pretty obvious with you talking about him every second of every day,"

"Myles is so sweet,"

"Look at what Myles gave me,"

"Myles said I was the best dancer ever," Nevah's voice pitched as she mocked me.

"Okay, Okay I get it," I said as she laughed at my expense.

"It doesn't matter anyway, things are different now and we're just friends," I said though she didn't look exactly convinced.

"Please, that boy has been in love with you since day one. If him punching that little boy in kindergarten wasn't a clear indication that he is in love with you then I don't know what is. Growing up I would always catch him watching you with a smile on his face and pure look of awe in his eyes. He looked at you like you were the only person in the world." Nevah said making me look at her in disbelief.

Could it be that Myles felt the same way I did?

That he could possibly feel the same now.

No

That's insane!

We are just friends, and Nevah is in over her head.

"He did not!" I said, refusing to believe a word she said.

"Yes, he did, your just too stubborn to see it. That boy cares for you more than you know and one day you'll see what everyone else sees." She said confidently as I looked down at the island in confusion.

"Nevah?"

Turning around my mother stood at the entrance of the kitchen, tears gathering in her eyes as she looked at Nevah in shock.

"Hi, mom," Nevah said, before rising from her seat to give our mother a bone-crushing hug.

A smile made its way onto my face at the sight of them together.

"My two babies under one roof again," My mother said once they pulled away, the tears flowing down her face contrasting the wide grin she had.

"Come here," She said motioning me over with her hand.

Once I made my way over to them, she pulled us into her arms.

We stood there for a few minutes enjoying the comfort of having one another there.

"This isn't it," Nevah said making me release a groan as she rejected yet another dress I've tried on.

We are currently in a boutique to buy me a maid of honor's dress for Nevah's wedding.

Originally when Nevah asked me to be her maid of honor I was touched, but now I can't help but regret my decision.

Who knew that Nevah Montogomery was so picky.

I've tried on over 50 dresses and she doesn't like one.

I even suggested that I could wear the same dress as her bridesmaids.

But, in true Nevah fashion, she said that I'm the maid of honor and that I have to stand out of bit.

But, not more than her of course.

I would have the same color, which happens to be a royal purple.

However, Nevah thinks it necessary that I have a different style of dress than them, so everyone knows I'm the maid of honor.

At this point, I would be happy wearing a trash bag if it meant I could get something to eat.

Nevah pulled me out of the house at 9 am on a Saturday morning and I didn't have any time to get something to eat.

My mother isn't here with us, as she worked the night shift and is catching up on some extra sleep.

How I wish that was me

It's currently 1 pm and my stomach growled yet again in hunger.

"This is the last dress I'm trying on Nevah and you better like it, because I'm not trying on anything else after this," I said sternly eager to get something to eat.

"Yeah, sure," Nevah said, with a wave of her hand as she searched for more dresses, completely ignoring my pleas.

Talk about bridezilla.

Going back into the dressing room I slipped out of the strapless maxi dress I had on before and changed into the last dress.

Once I was done, I couldn't help but gasp at my reflection in the mirror.

The dress was beautiful.

The top of the dress had spaghetti straps with a sweetheart neckline. It sinched at my waist and molded against my hips. The dress dropped to the floor, a slit running down the right side, showcasing my dancer legs.

All in all, I was in love

Stepping out of the room, I sent a quick prayer to God hoping that Nevah would like the dress as much as I did.

"Oh my gosh," Nevah said in shock the clothes in her hands dropping to the floor.

I sent an apologetic smile to the sales clerk who was glaring at my sister.

"THIS IS IT!" She squealed, completely oblivious to the dirty look that's being sent her way.

"We are so getting this!" She said staring at the dress in awe as I released a sigh of relief.

Turning my back to her, I began to make my way back to the dressing room, but the next couple of words that slipped from Nevah's mouth had me stopping in my tracks.

"Myles is not gonna be able to take his eyes off you, once he sees you in this dress," Nevah said making me turn back around so quickly that I almost caught whiplash.

"Nevah," I said slowly, eyeing her down as a smirk appeared on her face.

"What did you do?" I asked my arms crossing in front of me.

"I may or may not have invited Myles to the wedding," She said like it was no big deal, while my eyes widen in shock.

"WHAT!" I whispered shouted in disbelief, not wanting to draw any attention towards us.

"Oh calm down, it's not a big deal, Myles is practically family." She said rolling her eyes as I scoffed at her response.

"Look, I know Malia and Talia were unable to make it to the wedding and I wouldn't want you to have to deal with the invasive questions of our relatives all night. So, like the good sister I am, I got the boy that you're in love with to keep you company." Nevah explained sending a wink in my direction.

"I'm not in love with Myles, we're just friends," I mumbled out in annoyance.

"Yeah, you keep telling yourself that," Nevah replied not believing a word I said before shooing me away.

I simply released a huff before stomping back to the dressing room.

I know, very mature of me.

"You're welcome," Nevah shouted from behind me, laughing at my expense knowing that she was right.

Despite my frustration with her not telling me of her plans, I'm happy that I won't be alone and get to spend more time with Myles.

Looking at my reflection one last time, a small smile crept onto my face.

If Nevah's right,

Myles won't be able to keep his eyes off me.
