CHAPTER 3 - THE NEW SURVIVORS

PRESENT TIME, SOMEWHERE DEEP IN THE FORESTS OF CANADA, STILL IN THE MONSTER APOCALYPSE THEN
"I still can't believe you sneaked out, went out there all alone--just to satisfy your pregnancy cravings of all things!" ranted Draco as he tried to be angry about this sudden situation that Helen got herself into but couldn't because of her recent delicate condition.
Both Draco and Helen are walking and trekking through the dark deep forestry woods to get to wherever their safe place is in there.
"I can't help it, Draco! I wanted to have one of you to get it for me, but I couldn't stop my body from reacting on its own and I realized too late as I've already gone that far," Helen protested as she tried to catch up behind him, a little grateful that he slows down in his marching angry stride-like walk for her to catch up.
"Sometimes I wonder whether your accidental injection upon yourself--is really an accident at all," Draco muttered as he glanced back at her suspiciously even though he didn't mean it.
Helen didn't fake the tears as they welled up in her eyes as she cried, "How was I supposed to know that the nutrition potion I'm supposed to take--was a magical pregnancy artificial-insemination potion instead when I had it? I told you time and time again--I mixed up the potion vials when I got it and injected it into myself back then!"
Draco took a deep breath and sighed, calming himself down, and looked at Helen, a little perturbed that he's comforting his former enemy long ago, and they're now friends and family from then on when they left their former world.
"Alright, alright...I'm sorry, okay? Here, have some chocolate. But only a small piece," Draco offered Helen as she sniffled and wiped her tears, and then she smiled as she took the little bit of chocolate Draco is giving her. "We don't want to turn your own baby into a sweet tooth!"
"Much as I hate to admit it--but it's already too late on that," Helen said wryly as she eats the chocolate whole, savoring it upon being in the middle of the monster apocalypse. "Between you, Luna, and Neville...my baby is going to be completely spoilt by her favorite godfather and uncle and aunt!"
Draco rolled his eyes at that before he gently ushered Helen and escorted her back to their camping ground, wherever it is hidden and safely secure in the Canadian deep thick forests there.
But what these two didn't know...is that they've been spotted by something--or rather someone.
Specifically...a new group of survivors, who managed to survive and live through the monster apocalypse.

At another point of view, almost far away from where Helen and the other three Magicals including the four children of the group, as they are safely secured in their temporary safe place in those deep thick forests somewhere in Canada, there is another group that are trying to stay alive and survive through this on-going hellish monster apocalypse and they decided to hike and trek through the forests in hopes of finding another place to keep them safe and secure from any dangers and threats such as the mutated monsters or evolved creatures that now ruled over mostly the entire world and became the top of the food chain, replacing the human race since then and right now, or even the hostile living survivors that are scarcely spread out somewhere.
This particular surviving group consists of two men and two women, and they had survived one of those major monstrous waves from the meteor outbreak of that 'Monster Fallout' --as they call it at the time long ago--which is at New York, America. Somehow, with all their normal mundane strength, power, and might, they managed to survive and escaped those horrific times when the major cities were struck first and decimated upon the monster outbreak as they waved through them like massive storms, and for years they wandered by vehicle and foot to finding safe places but haven't found one until they heard rumors or whispers from other survivors they have passed by and met, that there is safety and hope somewhere in Canada.
And these four people managed to make it there that far with all their efforts and determination.
Though they didn't even stop in longer times to have a break for themselves, they were so focused on keeping each other safe like they group themselves into a tight-knit family and very determined to get to a safe place that might be in Canada, that nothing else matters besides foraging and gathering food, water, supplies, and other necessities for themselves to survive. Despite the human race being overly outmatched by the mutated beasts and all kinds of monsters, these four survivors managed to fight their way through and still survive and live on in their journey to get to where they needed to go.
When they managed to make it into the other country in Canada upon crossing the border, almost all of their supplies are running out and by their unfortunate luck or fate, they came at the slightly very cold winter season as they try with all their might and efforts to trudge through the thick snow upon getting to their goal of destination there.
And these four strong people and very determined brave fighters are Bellamy Blake and John Murphy, who are the two young men, and the two young women are Clarke Griffin and Bellamy's younger sister Octavia Blake. These four were born and raised as city-living kinds of people in New York in different types/walks of life, but they easily adapted to surviving through the destruction and chaos when the monster apocalypse happened upon banding together during those chaotic times, even through the wilderness and forestry and such, despite their inexperience from it almost their entire lives until the meteor came crashing down then the monster apocalypse broke out and spread.
As they are traveling and trudging through the snowy cold area, dressed almost entirely in thick winter clothing, they thought that hope is nearly lost for them upon finding no place that is a secure safe haven for them but then one of them finally noticed something ahead that he thinks that this must be the 'safe place' other survivors they met or heard from afar, were talking about or spreading rumors and whispers about it.
It was the young man who looked more mature and older and appeared to be the leader of the small group, Bellamy Blake that spotted it.
At first, he thought he was seeing things and starting to hallucinate, but then his eyes blinked more and he can see clearly that what he's seeing from almost far ahead of his group that it's real and not a mirage. He quickly made a silent 'stop' gesture and his sister and the other two instantly stopped, tensing like they thought their leader Bellamy spotted some kind of threat or danger coming at them. But he reassured them with a look that it's not and he gestured at his friend John Murphy to hand over a set of binoculars for him to look and double-check to see if it's really real or not from what he saw.
He saw a blonde man, in a thick winter white coat and hood, to blend in with the weather and the snowy cold surroundings so that no other predators or monsters would spot him, followed by another person but looked bulky and big beneath its furry white winter clothing like it's carrying something inside the coat to protect it from the weather elements and such.
Bellamy could tell that one of them is a blonde male because his white hood flew back to reveal his features a little from the cold breezy wind that blew right in their direction but he didn't mind the weather coming at him as he's focused on moving the bulky person gently to wherever their safe area is or something, fussing worriedly over his second companion. He saw through the binoculars that the blonde man is frantic to be in a hurry to getting to safety but he didn't leave his companion behind because it might be his family member or something.
He wondered why the blonde male didn't do something to help his companion out since the other one seemed to be tired of carrying some big pile or something under its coat, but it looks like it's not the case when the second person tripped over something and revealed the person's true face and looks upon nearly falling over but the blonde man quickly caught its companion before it hits its face onto the cold snowy-earthy ground.
Bellamy almost thought his heart stopped as well his entire body freezing like a statue, upon catching sight of the beautiful fair features of a woman with long flowing black hair and ethereal emerald-green eyes and fair pink face as she thanked her blond friend for catching her. It almost felt like a lightning bolt had struck him upon seeing the first time of that female survivor he just saw.
And then it took him about another split-second for him to become more stunned when he saw the shocking truth on why the woman looked bulky or fat-like in her appearance--as the long black-haired gem-like green-eyed pretty fair woman revealed visibly that she is pregnant.
Before he could process this, the next and last thing that stunned and shocked him once more...is that the two of them suddenly disappeared--like they just continue walking forward and instantly vanished into thin air right before his very eyes, even through the clear-sight binoculars he's looking and seeing through from far away.
He couldn't believe that he just lost sight of them after being stunned first upon seeing a pregnant woman in the middle of surviving through a monster apocalypse still and wondered how this girl made it this far despite her condition, even though it's obvious she's healthy and fair and that she has company helping her that is the blonde man.
