Chapter 30

Cameron's P.O.V
We walked over to the room. There she was all bruised and broken.
"Cameron, dude you okay?" Matt asked waving his hand across my face.
"Yeah I'm fine."
We sat down in the uncomfortable chairs. I grabbed her hand.
Gabby peeped her head through the door. "Cameron I gotta go my mom is gonna get suspicious. Call me on my cell if anything happens. It was nice meeting you Matt, she talks a lot about you."
"Bye Gabby." Matt said.
"Bye." I said.
We sat there for hours. I drifted of to sleep.
"Cam, Cam." Matt screamed.
"What!?" I screamed back.
"Something's happening the monitors beeping like crazy."
I pressed the button a million times. The doctor came running in. A nurse and and escorted us out of the room.
"What's happening!?" I asked.
"She's going into cardiac arrest." the nurse said.
"Is she going to be okay." Matt choked up.
"I don't know it hard to tell."
"I thought you said she was going to be okay." I said.
" We thought she was but there is something wrong with her chest area we think maybe one of her ribs has broken and is pushing on her lungs. All you can do right now is hope."
We sat down in the chairs. I played with my fingers.
A few hours later.
The doctor came out.
"Things aren't looking good her rib as broken and is pushing on her lungs we've managed to put it back together, but it has done some damage to the heart which isn't life threatening it's just something your gonna have to keep an eye on."
Matt's P.O.V
"Oh my god." I said putting my head in my hands.
Cameron got up and walked off.
Cam- I started to walk with him but the doctor stopped me.
"Mr. Dallas is it?" She asked.
"No I'm Matt Emma's boyfriend."
"Let him be. These things can be hard on brothers especially when the parents aren't around. He feels responsible for the accident. So let him settle down. Could you fill out some paperwork? I know your her boyfriend but just fill out what you know and leave the rest blank. I'm Dr. Casey by the way."
"Matthew." I chuckled.
"Don't worry she's in good hands."
I sat down in the chair and filled out the paper work as best as I could.
A few hours later Cameron came back.
It was now 2 am.
"Matt lets go" he said.
I got up and followed him. We got into the car and drove to the nearest hotel. We got a room and went to sleep.
