It's been two days that Gavin and Dane just remained at home, which catches the attention of every people that loves them. They are all worried for them, especially since they are not hearing anything from the couple for the past two days.
Rome, Gavin's best friend, decided to visit them and was shocked upon knowing what was happening between the couple.
"Gavin! Are you sure about what you are doing now to Dane? Are you sure this is the right thing to do to fix this problem of yours because as your friend I'm telling you it's not! It will never be the right solution to this!" Rome seriously said to Gavin!
"What do you want me to do? Just let him leave me! He is going to leave me Rome! He said that he didn't love me anymore! He wants to be with that other man! I can't lose him, man! I just can't! I can't live without him! You should know that by now! Yes! Everything about us is a lie and started with a bet, but you know how much I was thankful for that bet! Because of that stupid bet of yours, I got the best person in my life as my husband! I change myself for the better for him! I fell for him so hard even though at first I thought that I would never be able to fall in love ever again because of my first heartache, but I did! I finally did, and I swear to God that I will never lose him! But look at what is happening to us! After our marriage, he got into an accident and forgot about me! Now he is saying that some other man came back for him, and he wants to be with that f*cking guy! I can't lose my husband, Rome! I can't lose him again!" Gavin said in between his sobs! He is already drunk because of so much alcohol he takes to ease the pain he is feeling right now.
"I know, and I can understand what you feel, Gav! But this? Locking him inside your room? Do you think you can win him and make him remember you if you do this to him! You can't save a mistake using another mistake! It will never solve anything. Can't you hear him? Your husband, whom you're telling me, your life, and your everything, is suffering right now. He is suffering. Are you going to let your husband suffer like this?" Rome asks Gavin.
"I don't know what I'm going to do, Rome! I don't want to lose him! I don't want to make him leave because I know if I do, he will never come back! I will truly lose him, and I accept that! What should I do! What should I do! I love him, Rome! You know how much I love him! He is the only one I want to be with my life forever! He is the only one I want to grow old with! I want to be with him! I want him, Rome! Please help me! Please! I don't know what to do anymore! Please help me! Please make him stay! Please!" Gavin keeps begging his best friend, which is very devastating for Rome.
This man witnesses the whole love story of Gavin and Dane! He knows how much Gavin loves Dane! Gavin did his best to change his life and behavior with Dane! He has never seen his friend love someone like how he loves Dane! Even his relationship with his first girlfriend can never match with what Dane and Gavin have!
Rome just sit in front of Gavin then hold his hand before speaking
"Trust your husband's love for you, Gav! I know how much Dane loves you so much! He may be confused about his feeling right now because he couldn't remember you, but we both know how much that man love and care about you! You promise to love one another through your wedding vow, and we all witness it. This is not the ending of your love story, Gav! This is just another test to make your love for one another stronger than before. Do you think that kind of love that Dane has for you will truly be lost just because of a simple accident! Trust him, Gav! Trust your wife! He may be lost right now, but I know he will come back to you! You both will always come back to each other's arms! Trust me, my friend! I know what I'm saying!" Rome smilingly said to Gavin, which made the man look at him and think about what he said
"Do you think so?" Gavin asked Rome.
"Yes! For now, set him free and let him explore his life on his own. That is what he needs right now, to know everything that is lost on his own! It may be for a while, but I know eventually! Dane will always come back to you! Just wait for him, Gav! You have to wait for him to come back and be with you again! Force will never solve anything! You have to let fate do its job for you! Don't do this to your wife, Gav! Please don't! Because if you do! You might lose him for good, and I know you don't want that to happen, right? right?" Rome asked his friend
"No!" Gavin sadly said. Rome can't help but smile when he sees that his friend finally realizes his point. He sits beside him and puts his arms around his shoulder
"Don't worry, Gav! Whatever might happen in the future, please remember that we will always be here for you! Your family and I will always be here for you! Don't drown yourself with all of this. If Dane will finally come back to you, he came to know this. God! I'm already getting scared about his reaction! You know how much he hates you drinking this, right?" Rome smilingly said to Gavin.
Gavin can't help but laugh upon remembering the last time Dane saw him drinking. His husband didn't talk to him for three days just to punish him! Rome saw it, and it made him smile wider.
"That's my friend! God! I'm not used to you getting so down and emotional like this! This is not you! You u look so ugly!" Rome teasingly said to Gavin. The man pushes Rome away from him, and they laugh
They laugh until they stop, and Gavin becomes serious again. Rome goes back to his side and holds his hand
"Don't you worry, Gav! Everything is going to be okay! I promise you that!" Rome seriously said to Gavin, making Gavin smile a little then cry again. Rome just let him cry while remaining by his side.

The very next day
DANE POV
I cried the whole night, I tried to stop, but I couldn't. I haven't been able to sleep this past three days properly, and I feel so devastated being left alone in this room. I feel so betrayed and hurt! The man who keeps saying he loves me just left me here to rot for three days already! I don't know how long he would make me stay like this, but all I know is that it's killing me already!
I'm about to go insane! How can he do this to me! My parents never hurt me before! Even Hai never did anything that was against my wants and will! He said that he loves me, but how can he do this! How can he just leave me here alone! I badly want to get out of here! I want to go home! Everybody said that this is my home, but it isn't! This is hell! I hate him! I hate him so much!
What should I do! What should I do!
I was crying so hard on our bed when I suddenly heard the door open, so I quickly got up! There I saw him again! The man, who claimed as my husband, but I never felt he was. He is a stranger to me, and that stranger is hurting me!
I tried to stop crying for a while. Then I tried to stand even though I was so weak already! I was about to speak to him, but I was stunned when he suddenly entered our closet. He got a bag, and one by one put all my clothes there.
"What are you doing!?" I confusedly asked him. He was not answering at first but just continued to pack my things
"I said, what are you doing!" I yelled at him, which made him stop and gradually look at me.
That look in his eyes! I can see how sad he was. I can also see some hurt feelings, but this will not justify what he did. I hate him still!
"I'm doing what you want, Dane! I'm letting you go! I'm sorry if I put you here and left you alone for three days! Now I realize that what I did is wrong, and it will never save what we have if I continue to treat you like this! I'm sorry for doing this! I'm sorry for keeping you here against your will, baby! I know I hurt you because of this, but I'm just too desperate! I don't know what I would do without you! I can't live without you, but I also know that I can't keep you here against your will! I can't keep you by my side if you don't want me anymore. I shouldn't have forced myself on you because I know you don't deserve it!
You deserve to be a happy baby and even if it's not with me! I'm willing to accept it just to make you happy again! I can't keep hurting you! I can't keep making you cry like this because I promise on our wedding day that I will never make you cry again! I love you so much, baby, that even if it hurts me to let you go! I know I have to! I have to choose you before myself! I realized that now! I'm sorry, baby! I'm sorry!" Gavin sadly said to me; I can't help but feel so relieved upon hearing what he said.
He is finally letting me go! He is finally setting me free!
I was too afraid that he would change his mind, so I started to walk to get my things from him. I know that it may be cruel for me to do this, but I can't keep living in a place that is just hurting me! A place that is suffocating me! I need to get out of here! I need to getaway!
I was successful when I got my bag, but I was about to open the door and step out. Gavin instantly hugs me from behind.
"Please don't stay away from me, baby! Please come back to me! Please don't leave me! Please don't! I can't live without you, Dane! You are my husband, and I am your husband! We are supposed to be together! You and me forever! Please don't go, baby! Please stay away from him! I promise! I will be good this time! I will try my best to make you happy! Please! Please stay! Please!" I couldn't take it anymore, so I quickly pulled away from his arms and faced him.
"I can't be with you anymore, Gav! We are not working! This! Trying to make me remember will never work because I will never remember you! Maybe this is just the destiny way to let us know that we aren't made for each other! We have to accept the fact that this is the end of us! I'm sorry but this is just it! I'm so sorry!" I said to him then I quickly walked away! I didn't wait for him to grab me again.
But before I could finally step away from the main door, I don't know, but there was a big part of me that wanted to turn around, and so I did
I saw him crying on the ground of our room! He is crying so hard! I know as a human I have to try and console him, but I know it will only give him false hope! I can't keep doing this!
I need to get away!
We both need to step away from each other lives and live our own!
I need to go back to my life! I'm sorry, Gavin, but I just have to!
I'm currently sitting in a cab. I quickly get my phone to call someone.
As usual, he answered already just for my first attempt! He knows how much I hate waiting! He is still the same. I can't help but smile so widely.
"Hello, hon? How are you! Why can't I contact you for the past three days! Did something happen to you! I tried to go to the house where I dropped you, but no one answered the door. Where..." He was speaking, but I didn't let him finish. I can't help but let out a little cry while smiling.
"I'm finally free, hon! I'm coming back to you! I'm coming home!" I said in between my sobs.
I'm finally home!
