Why is everyone fighting?
The clash of swords singed my ears. And I watched as soldiers clashed. Fighting and fighting. Without noticing me, who stood near them.
What's happening?
Where am I? Why can’t they see me?
And then, I saw Ashton. Clones of Ashton, all fighting. Swinging their swords with dexterity and swiftness.
And near the 'real' Ashton, was Cederic. Both fighting together, against their common enemy.
What's happening? The thought rang in my head again. And I looked up. At the sky. The blood moon. It was Samhain night.
And as I looked down, even as I had come to realise that no one on the battlefield could see or hear me, with my heart racing, I screamed, "Regalis!"
Just as I watched as Randall's blade stabbed right into him. Cutting through his belly. And sinking deep. "Since I'll never know death, tell me son, how does it feel to die?"
